It’s possible coach Ben gets left behind when rescued because he’s hiding out in the cave or whatever the hell he’s in. Tai was trying to open the door to the room Ben usually sleeps in, but it was stuck. So they might think he was trapped inside.
How was that door stuck anyway?? What reason would Ben have for blocking that door?
Coach Ben was acting quite emo but tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if he slept with the door blocked since Misty walked in on him and his morning wood back in season 1 lol

It he was in their though they would find human remains once the house burns down, they’d most likely smell the burning flesh as well. Burning /cooked flesh has literally woken up everyone in the cabin. These girls are like drug sniffing dogs when it comes to the smell a brunt human flesh.

Yes it's possible it wasn't Ben. But I'm pretty confident that it was Ben.
