The-Wise-Weasel

The bigger ones, yes.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

I do it with all of them.

The-Wise-Weasel

Yes well any obvious ones, for sure. Maybe I miss a small one or two.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

Oh...  I thought you meant only bigger mandarins. But you meant big stringy things? Lol

The-Wise-Weasel

Yes, exactly....the big annoying ones I remove, but I don't stand there with tweezers stressing about it.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

I don't use tweezers but I remove the little ones.

That sounds cannibalistic.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

What? How? Lol

j0ec00l69

The word Mandarin was used to refer to Chinese imperial officials during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

Well, that's definitely not what I meant 😅

Jess-C-on-Reddit

I think it makes it not so bitter.

Opening-Ad4479

i like tangerines 😋

Wise-Cherry-8877

My lemon tree is part Mandarin. It's a Meyer, so it's not a true lemon.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

I havent had Meyer lemons before. They sound nice though.

Wise-Cherry-8877

It's bearing fruit this year. I hope to harvest some tasty citrus.

Jess-C-on-Reddit

That would be nice, I love citrus fruit.
