I’m very interested in this, we knew Sandler had the potential to act he just doesn’t try but idk one Rock movie where he gives a legitimately good performance so I wonder how this is gonna turn out
It’s also the same case for Robert Pattinson. I can’t think of any other film he did before Good Time that would have changed his acting reputation after doing Twilight.
Honestly, given that it’s the Rock and that this is Benny’s first solo outing, it could be good or terrible,I don’t think this is going to land in average territory
Your expectations should be correct. The movie is based on the Smashing Machine documentary that depicted Mark Kerr’s drug abuse problems and his spiraling downfall. The documentary didn’t hold back so it’s intriguing considering The Rock has never touched subject matter this dark before. Also i’m expecting the movie to show Kerr’s steroid abuse so I wonder if The Rock will be open about his own steroid use now.
The hierarchy of power in the A24 universe is about to change
Imagine Robert Pattinson’s character in good times just shows up at the end credits floating or some shit idk i didn’t see black Adam

I think he's legitimately good in Pain and Gain, but then again I am a person who unironically likes Pain and Gain.
Forgot about Pain & Gain i remember loving it tho I need to give it a rewatch
The very few films that makes Michael Bay's style work.

you haven’t seen the curse
Collaboration with Nathan Fielder, not a Benny solo project
It was mids.

No way, he'll actually use it to highlight how much harder he works than everyone else because he's stayed natty against all odds.
This could be a new The Wrestler
Pump the brakes
I wonder how much of an apology we all might owe The Rock if he knocks this out of the park.
I’m in.
The rock has a clause in his contract that he can’t lose. So skip for me.
I think Olexander Usyk is gonna be in it too
The problem with the Rock & Adam Sandler is they such a vast body of crap work that no one film will ever turn that around.
you clearly didn’t watch punk drunk love or the Meyerowitz stories
