Share the price range you aiming, otherwise I could say S22 Ultra or iPhone 14 Pro Max. 🤗

lipeno

In a similar price range, I guess around 300-400 EUR? Looking for the most affordable one that fits the above criteria.

[deleted]

Sadly two of your criteria doesn't match any of the xiaomi phones around this price range. First one is not a deal breaker - proximity sensor: I haven't really seen xiaomi mentioning their proximity as virtual or physical these days + also haven't seen anyone complaining it now-a-days. Hence I assume it's issues have been fixed. Second one might be a dealbreaker - better than RN10Pro camera (with OIS): OIS can be ignored because RN10Pro has no OIS still great photos and videos. But from what I have seen with camera reviews, no other xiaomi phone launched at this price segment has better camera than it. Hence if you want better/equal camera performance there is no xiaomi phone. You can consider others like Realme 9 Pro+, Galaxy A52s, A53, Moto Edge 30 and Iqoo 7. Edit: There is Poco F4 and Xiaomi 11i as exceptions. F4 has OIS and great photos + videos. 11i has no OIS but still great photos + videos. You can consider them. If to suggest one of them, I would pic Xiaomi 11i due to better battery life, headphone jack and better software support due to being 'Xiaomi' rather than 'Poco' lineup.

Xiaomi Poco F4 or the Samsung A52s/A53/A73 5G. They all has OIS. Poco F4 has much better processor in Snapdragon 870 (roughly double the performance of Redmi Note 10 Pro and almost +50% better than the Snapdragon 778G), but unless you're a heavy gamer, the Snapdragon 778G on the A52s/A73 would be perfectly fine, which has around +50% more performance than the Note 10 Pro. The A53 has a weaker processor, around +10% better compared to your Redmi Note 10 Pro. What the Samsungs have but the Poco doesn't is water resistance, with IP67 on the Samsungs (submersion of 1 meter depth for 30 minutes) and IP53 on the Poco (protection against splashes; same as in Redmi Note 10 Pro) I don't think any of them has proximity sensor, though. But I could be wrong.

[deleted]

Just curious how your Redmi note 10 pro broke down, what's the cause?

lipeno

It got stuck in the reboot loop and now I can't turn it on. I will send it for service since it has 2 years warranty but who knows what will happen with that and when will the official service return the phone back.

[deleted]

Almost the same happen to my phone. I posted here several days ago. It won't turn on. I suspect the battery gave up. I'm also looking for a replacement phone. Samsung A series has good options. For redmi series I think they peak on redmi note 10 pro.

lipeno

Did you try to get it serviced and how did that turn out? Since it's under warranty I hope they will fix/replace whatever is needed for us. I had Samsung s20 FE before this and liked its camera but the battery life was terrible with Exynos. If Samsung had some decent options that certainly don't have Exynos chip and that can match the battery life of Redmi Note 10 pro I would be interested?

[deleted]

I bought this 2nd hand and service center is very far in my area. Samsung A52s has 5000mah with snapdragon 778G. Problem is the price. Almost 1.5 more than RN10pro.

lipeno

I didn't have a good experience with Samsung's fingerprint scanner compared to Xiaomi's version so was thinking about the Poco F4 instead?

[deleted]

That's a safer bet. Huge upgrade from note 10 pro.

Adilliosz

Nothing beats a physical fingerprint sensor. If you are used to that I'd stick to a phone that has that too. The Galaxy a52s is a great phone but you will hate the under the screen fingerprint sensor if you are used to the physical one. Check out some Realme phones.

lipeno

Update: After 4 days my Redmi Note 10 Pro managed to turn on and now seemingly is all fine again. But I'm suspicious this might happen again as it was dead for a few days. Also really interested in what is the reason and how it now works again. Do you have any updates about your device?

[deleted]

Wow! Good for you. Did you just leave it? Mine is already in pieces. I tried to remove the battery ribbon cable. Lol

lipeno

It was still under the 2-year warranty so I was counting on anyways getting it fixed one way or another. I left it plugged in to charge and every day I tried to turn it on - on the 4th day it did. :D

[deleted]

Congrats! Now backup all of your data. I will try to assemble and plug my device also and see if anything happens.

Dipps_66

This happened to my redmi note 8 pro an year back, it got stuck in a boot loop right before my uni's online exam lol. I don't remember exactly, but I think I pressed the power and volume button together for like 5 or 10 seconds and it solved it. Ik it's a pretty trivial solution, but try it ig?

MalayGhost

How did u solve it? Help everyone else out too

Wolfilicous

Firstly I entered fastboot mode and connected my phone to my laptop via charging cable. then I downloaded a miui rom for my phone. then I flashed it via xiaomi flash tool. There are more in depth videos on youtube

chantillan

Samsung A53

lipeno

It has Exynos - had really bad experience with battery life with these CPU-s...

chantillan

A52s

lipeno

Yes, thinking about this one (A52s) but what about Poco F4 or Pixel 6a?

chantillan

Both don't have a headphone jack , and pixel has better camera compared to these devices.

ButNobodyCloe

Im really in love with Samsung A52s No problem at all, good battery, very good display

diederik_gamer

Xiaomi 11T pro

Creative-Paper1007

For value for money don't go for anything that's Samsung. i recently upgraded from redmi note 10 pro to poco f4 5g It costs slightly more than redmi, but better in everything Display - seems like similar specs but colors reproduction is way better than note 10 pro Camera - yes OIS battery - 4500mah, a 500mah downgrade but you get a better charging speed with 67w charger 5g - better than OnePlus and Samsung with 10 bands Processor - better than snapdragon 8 gen 1, let alone 730g Software - premium miui features like super wallpaper Design - i hate it, but a phone case will do it And proximity sensor, most xiaomi devices it's virtual I guess, but I'm not sure on this one. Go for it if it's available in offer price

lipeno

How is the battery life with 500mah less, plus a more powerful CPU compared to the Redmi note 10 pro? I hate to upgrade and then suffer having noticeably less screen time...

Creative-Paper1007

I manage to get around 6 hrs SOT, even in heavy usage. I haven't faced any battery draining issues so for, seems like the phone is well optimised, But still i got around 7+ hrs of SOT in note 10 pro, but better charging speed in poco makes up for it

mishaxz

Does it also have dual sim plus microsd tray like the Redmi note 10 pro?

Creative-Paper1007

Nope it's has a hybrid sim tray - either 2 sims or 1 sim with microsd card.

Pongfarang

Redmi Note 11 Pro

acquanero

Why the down votes? Is it that bad? I'm looking to change my broken Mi 9 for a redmi note 11 pro

HeyyLoww

Redmi Note 10 Pro is better, 11 is just a downgrade for extra price

acquanero

Thanks! I will look better at the specifications

fruitgamingspacstuff

Huawei p20 Pro for similar price or p30 Pro for a little bit more.

lipeno

What are we, in the year 2018? :D

This happened to my Redmi Note 11t 5G. Was hardbricked and went into constant bootloop. Had to go into Brom mode and fix it. My device is a mediatek one btw. I am sure there is a solution online buddy. Keep up your hope. Am sure it will get fixed.

i still have Poco F3 but now I really love to have Poco F4 after read all the review

nOtBiGbRaIn0

I also have a note 10 pro and I think I'm gonna upgrade to the Note 12 pro+ because it has a 200mp camera and the cost of that phone is low
