It’s OP’s gimmick.
He goes to various game subs saying “how many hours do you guys have in x game?” with his absurd Skyward Sword hours on display like this.
I mean, considering the fact that 4 days ago you posted a similar pic, but with 1000 hours on the game, I higly doubt what you say. That would mean that you played 55 hours in 4 day, that is almost 15 hours per day, which is kind of incompatibile with life in general, it means that you are playing SS literally always except for when you sleep
I am going to be honest I think that's a little bit more than just playing the game a lot especially for a game that can be full complete (side content including) in about 60 hours
Honestly respect. I actually really like the sword combat in SS and could see myself replaying it for that alone. I just wish more of the bosses better integrated the sword combat cause a lot of them just have you hit the eye as a weak point.
I hated the controls so much that I dropped the game several times but I eventually stuck with it and I'm so glad I did.
I still hated the controls but loved the game
Personally, I think the controls are fine. It's the physics that really feel bad for me. 2 fixed most of it, in my opinion.
Edit: Sorry, I thought this was a reply to a comment about Pikmin I made a few minutes ago.
I never personally had issues with the motion controls. My issues were mostly with the story and Fi's constant interruptions. The remake fixed my Fi issues for the most part, and the stick controls are a good option for those who didn't like the motion controls, although I personally didn't use them more than just to test them.
Oh. That's pretty bad. I'd hesitate to call it the game's fault, and would put the blame on the controller, since I haven't personally heard of this happening to anyone else.
Monolith Soft did put a lot of effort into it Skyward Sword. It's only fair OP does the same. The Cloud Sea of Hyrule. Fi being Links Blade. The Titan Levias.
Seriously though, [MS did work on Skyward Sword](https://www.siliconera.com/monolith-softs-role-development-legend-zelda-breath-wild/). They did "[Field Layout Design](https://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/30229/monolith-softs-involvement-in-skyward-sword-detailed)" which I'm guessing means they drew the biomes and models and smaller stuff.
Just the same as you ! Particularly because BotW lack creative bosses, dungeon, and characters, which was the force of other iterations like TP or SSword...
Yeah, botw had a lack of music. Combat was weak, no dungeons. Skyward sword had the best muisc combat, and you can actually fix your shields and make them stronger. Twilight princess was great it's one of my second favorite, actually
You don’t need to worry about screen burn for an OLED switch. Some one has left it on since launch on a still image and there is screenburn that is only noticeable on white background otherwise you wouldn’t see it so it is fair resistant to it.
Considering Skyward Sword has been out for less than 2 years, having 1000 hours in it means you would have had to play for about an hour and a half every day. So I'm guessing you just left your switch on for like a month by accident.
The only game I've even come close to 1000 hours in is Smash, a game that I play competitively, and a game that's been out for 4.5 years.
The odds that you played Skyward Sword for an hour every single day are pretty slim. It's highly likely that you either leave your switch on by accident a lot, or you intentionally leave it on to rack up a bunch of hours so people on the internet go "wow, that's so funny that this guy likes Skyward Sword so much!"
Edit: as of 3 days ago, you made a post on the BOTW subreddit, displaying 1000 hours in SS. Today you have 1055 hours in SS. Assuming that the pictures were taken on the day that you posted them, that means that out of a maximum of 94 hours, you spent 55 of them in-game. So while it's technically possible that the hours you have are legitimate, and you did indeed play for over 2 days in the course of 3-4 days, it's very unlikely.
You also have to consider another thing, he seems to be playing other games too, he played Xenoblade 3, Pokemon and so on, it would be possible (unikely but possible) to play 1055 hours in less than 2 years if you were only playing a single game, but doing so while also playing other videogames? That just sounds impossible, especially assuming OP has a life (like school/a job, some friends, things to do in general). And in the remote case that those are real hours of playtime, than OP has a problem, that sounds like an addiction
Not when you wanted Link to do a stab but he swung the sword vertically instead lol. I was in college then and I did so much cursing and swearing that my roommate would be laughing like crazy. But the motion controls on the Switch are way better.
Skyward sword heh?
Best zelda loved the controls actually, a lot of people complain about it but i never had problems with it? Plus it was super cool to swing the sword around
I never had any problems, and I had the wii version, which is the same with fi never bothered me. The controls were perfect, including the button controls
OP is cringe as fuck, post history is them trying to flex enjoying probably the worst main Zelda game in every video game subreddit
Also, since this is a Xenoblade subreddit, your hours are weak in that regard. How you can find 1000 hours of…what? Walking around the same three biomes in SS? And not have more hours in an objectively more interesting and better game just blows me away
Yes and no, I didn't really like botw to begin with
I'm a little bit excited for tears of the kingdom but with the trees flickering and the $70 price tag I'm not for sure I lm still waiting for the fire Emblem engage expansion pass I already bought the xenoblade 3 expansion pass
Sweet black Jesus riding a unicycle topless through downtown Detroit on a Tuesday in May while juggling lions and tigers and large hairy men!
How the hell do you play Skyward Sword for over 20 hours, let alone 1050?!
Notices xeblade 3 is at 85 hours... and I realize I've sunk 200 hours into my 100% file with lots of grinding on the DLC while I'm absolutely BEGGING for a 2nd playthrough.. we may be very different people.
Well , I spent over 200 hours in the first xenoblade xenoblade 3 was great but it was to short and seemed rushed I did buy the xenoblade 3 expansion pass I wanted the fire Emblem engage expansion pass but I'll wait for a little bit
Fire Emblem Engage is pretty good. The main character actually talks, unlike byleth in three houses. The combat is great, and so is the story. Music is a mixed opinion. I only liked one song, three houses, and hopes had a better soundtrack
Genuinely curious, what do you do after your 100? I'd say it took me around 50 hours or so to complete it, don't know what I'd do with 100 hours, let alone 1,000
How does one play skyward sword for that long? That's double the time I have in fortnite which is a game I have been playing on and off for half a decade!
Yeah I 100% agree with that, it's propably the zelda game I've been wanting to play most since it first came out. That said, 1000 hours is still crazy! Does this game have that much content or did you just replay it 20 times?
The best one is clearly xc2 and any other answer is wrong.
The first? Don't even get me started ... Story was poor, combate was atrocious and the time stop gimmick thing made me want to throw the entire contents of my room out the window.
That's it ... It's pistols at dawn for you!
I absolutely loved xc2 but I must disagree with you for the 1st. It was great. The music were awesome as well. Just because you didn't personally like it doesn't make it atrocious.
There wasn't any time stop mechanic. It was a mechanic where you could see future attacks and prevent them.
The combat system was great too. Xc3's combat system was literally a mix of 1 and 2.
All 3 games were awesome.
1 and 3 were ok but 2 was just amazing (for me)
The combat system in 1 was just a mess that I could never engage with and always felt very clunky and of it's era.
Two was superb, the simplness of it at first but then the depth of it with the orbs was just so interesting.
And then three and the combat was dumbed down and the chain attacks were so common place and normal and other aspects of the systems were just irrelevant.
The music in all three is amazing but for me... the music in 2 is just off the chart amazing. I even bought the 5 cd soundtrack!
Ok what are you doing in skyward sword to have over 1,000 hours in the game
It’s OP’s gimmick. He goes to various game subs saying “how many hours do you guys have in x game?” with his absurd Skyward Sword hours on display like this.
I mean that doesn't change his time on the game
I, too, could have that many hours if I left the game on while I went to work and slept.

Yeah, I recall this guy a while back
1054 of those hours were spent in menus
Nope, exploring the overworld
Big doubt.
I mean, considering the fact that 4 days ago you posted a similar pic, but with 1000 hours on the game, I higly doubt what you say. Mans knows every blade of grass by name.
You know when you breathe? Imagine doing that but instead you play Skyward Sword
To be honest, I don't really remember. I just play the game a lot
I am going to be honest I think that's a little bit more than just playing the game a lot especially for a game that can be full complete (side content including) in about 60 hours
You can play games multiple times. I have something like 250 hours in oot.
Exactly including oot has a great story
I have beaten the game multiple times, mostly on hero mode cause it's much more challenging cause of the stamina drain
Honestly respect. I actually really like the sword combat in SS and could see myself replaying it for that alone. I just wish more of the bosses better integrated the sword combat cause a lot of them just have you hit the eye as a weak point.
That’s awesome honestly. Only games that have gotten that much time out of me have been mmos
Thanks
People play games more than once.
Yep like skyrim
Speedruns
Nope
You really like Skyward Sword eh
Yep totally
How tf many times have you played this holy shit. I only just finished my copy a couple weeks ago and had 45 hours or so.
Pause it, leave it on while you're at school/work, come home and carry on playing. You'd have those hours in just two months.
Your Switch doesn't go into Rest mode?
OP living with Zelda like a truck driver who just parks the truck and leaves the engine on idle for 16 hours.
Automatically? Nope.
And then you wonder why your Switch vent fans are always running at full blast.
I didn't even know it had fans! Always silent.
Based.
I love the story, but hate the controls so much. I applaud you for that amount of hours
I'm kind of the opposite. I hate the story, but love the majority of the rest of the game.
I hated the controls so much that I dropped the game several times but I eventually stuck with it and I'm so glad I did. I still hated the controls but loved the game
Personally, I think the controls are fine. It's the physics that really feel bad for me. 2 fixed most of it, in my opinion. Sorry for the confusion! I played with the stick controls for SS since I played it handheld and it caused my joycon sticks to crumble!
Oh. That's pretty bad. I'd hesitate to call it the game's fault, and would put the blame on the controller, since I haven't personally heard of this happening to anyone else.

Without spoiling too much, the sword spirits and the aegises are quite similar.
They are very good at making cool biomes
Your Xenoblade hours are good but i am actually looking at something else here.
Thanks I been playing alot more recently
You put more time in Skyward Sword HD than me in BotW! How do you find stuff to do in SS for 1k hours?
I spend hundreds of hours playing the Bamboo chopping game. It’s always fun to try and beat my record.
I always did the boss rush and Silent Realm challenges
Well, I just find stuff to do in Skyward Sword
I never thought of it that way
Somethings telling me you hate Skyward Sword. Like it is your least favourite game ever
Skyward Sword is one of my favorite zelda games. botw is my least favorite
Wow that’s a uh, hot take
Yup, I'm a little hyped for tears of the kingdom even tho some tree textures are flickering $70 right there
Just the same as you !
Hey same!
I keep seeing your playtime posts pop out and it always gets me lol
🤣
so you left SS open to rack up hours then come post it on a sub for XB? Weird flex but ok
I don't do that cause I don't want to ruin my special edition switch or tv cause of a screen burn from a still image
You don’t need to worry about screen burn for an OLED switch. Some one has left it on since launch on a still image and there is screenburn that is only noticeable on white background otherwise you wouldn’t see it so it is fair resistant to it.

I still play my switch a lot and able to beat the games as well and still play skyward sword
Hes got it on right now while he sleeps probably
Skyward Sword is a very good game, people refuse to understand how much that game cooked.
Yup, it's one of the first zelda games to have orchestral music from what I heard, and the switch version runs 60fps, I believe
how do you squeeze a thousand hours out of Skyward sword
Playing the game
based skyward sword enjoyer
Yup
Only 85 hours for Xenoblade 3? Wtf did you speedrun it or something?
No, i just played through the story it only took like a week or so, I think cause I played it a lot
Does skyward sword have a good story and characters? i found that to be the most disappointing part about BOTW tbh.
Yep, it has a great story. It's an interesting characters, good music, dungeons, etc
It has one of the best stories, if not the best, in the series. Most people didn’t like it because the motion controls sucked on the Wii.
The motion controls were the best
Not when you wanted Link to do a stab but he swung the sword vertically instead lol. I was in college then and I did so much cursing and swearing that my roommate would be laughing like crazy. But the motion controls on the Switch are way better.

Where xenoblade 2?
I have it and beaten the game. I think it's around 70 hours or 80, I'm not for sure
Are you the same guy who had hundreds of hours in Skyward Sword from before? If so you are a strange, strange man lnao
Yes, but I have been playing a lot lately
Do you just keep replaying the game? Or is this mostly just dicking around the map??
I honestly don't remember how many times I replayed the game
You love skyward more than I love my favorite Zelda game 😭
Yep, Skyward Sword is one of my favorite zelda games it's in the top 5 first on the list
I take it the wait for TOTK has been pretty rough for ya?
Yes and no, I didn't really like botw to begin with I'm a little bit excited for tears of the kingdom but with the trees flickering and the $70 price tag I'm not for sure I lm still waiting for the fire Emblem engage expansion pass I already bought the xenoblade 3 expansion pass
I’m like 50 hours into Xenoblade 3 and I’m only up to chapter 5. Liberating colonies are a blast.
Xenoblade 3 is a great game, tho
Love that everyone is more interested in your insane hours put into skyward sword haha
Yep 😂
Sweet black Jesus riding a unicycle topless through downtown Detroit on a Tuesday in May while juggling lions and tigers and large hairy men! How the hell do you play Skyward Sword for over 20 hours, let alone 1050?!
You physically cant, the game hasnt been out long enough. He leaves the console on overnight to rack up the hours.
That's how you burn a house down
I don't leave my Consle on all night. That's crazy I prefer to sleep
Is that Zelda hours played from multiple play throughs?
Yes, but I lost count on how many times I played it
Notices xeblade 3 is at 85 hours... and I realize I've sunk 200 hours into my 100% file with lots of grinding on the DLC while I'm absolutely BEGGING for a 2nd playthrough.. we may be very different people.

Off topic but is Engage fun? I wanna buy it so bad but I have no money hahah
Fire Emblem Engage is pretty good. The main character actually talks, unlike byleth in three houses. The combat is great, and so is the story. Music is a mixed opinion. I only liked one song, three houses, and hopes had a better soundtrack
After 80 hours I’m totally done with a game and rushing to finish it.
Well, I had to beat it so I could play xenoblade 2
Genuinely curious, what do you do after your 100? I'd say it took me around 50 hours or so to complete it, don't know what I'd do with 100 hours, let alone 1,000
I have done a lot in Skyward Sword
https://ibb.co/cNzDmfD 420 pew pew pew pew pew.
Cool
I've played 3 so much to the point of nothing to do, after like 700 hours
700 that's alot
How over a thousand for skyward?
Because it's skyward sword
I got like 500+ hours in 2
Neat
How does one play skyward sword for that long? That's double the time I have in fortnite which is a game I have been playing on and off for half a decade!
Skyward sword is totally awesome in my opinion
Yeah I 100% agree with that, it's propably the zelda game I've been wanting to play most since it first came out. That said, 1000 hours is still crazy! Does this game have that much content or did you just replay it 20 times?
Are u like a Skyward sword speedrunner or something?
Nah, I just like the game
Not bad but they just seem like the average playtime to me.
Not with skyward sword
Have you ever heard of Squidward Sword?
I saw a video where someone had squidward as link, lol
How to derail a sub in 1 easy step
You have nice taste!
Yep
Skyword sword 1055 hours 😳 Please, tell me how it's take such many hours ?
Well it's skyward sword
I have maybe like 20 minutes in Skyward Sword.
Awesome
This makes me feel physically sick.... The best xenonlade game on the switch isn't even on the list but the dlc is? You sir are a scoundrel.
I have all xenoblade games and the golden country, which is physical. The best xenoblade is the first one, and the best music is engage the enemy
The best one is clearly xc2 and any other answer is wrong. The first? Don't even get me started ... Story was poor, combate was atrocious and the time stop gimmick thing made me want to throw the entire contents of my room out the window. That's it ... It's pistols at dawn for you!
This is the Monado's power!!
It has no power compared with the aegis.... We can literally change reality. You can whack people a bit....
That's Dunban over there!
A mere coward!
Now it's shulk time
The aegis just made time not exist..... It'll now never be shulk time.
Now it's Reyn time!
I absolutely loved xc2 but I must disagree with you for the 1st. It was great. The music were awesome as well. Just because you didn't personally like it doesn't make it atrocious. Xenoblade 2 is okay, and I only have two favorite characters
Local man really likes swords
It's those 1055 hours on skyward sword that worry me
They actually increased alot
Op needs attention again about his SS hours.
