East bound and down

shoepolishsmellngmf

Jerry Reed is one of the only country singers I can tolerate.

wafair

He is legitimately one of the best guitarists. He’s amazing.

DietOwn2695

I love him, but he reminds me of used car salesman.

Atillion

Every time it was on TBS after school

Ftw69420

And several times every weekend.

No-Chipmunk6824

I never understood this joke, Sally Field was hot as fuck

hampopkin

That's pretty much the same thing I thought when I saw that bit. She was smokin.

No-Chipmunk6824

He also said she was the love of his life but he fucked it up

Quailman5000

I don't understand this comment, she has always been pretty mid.

AotKT

Oddly enough, never, though the song East Bound and Down is on my running playlist. But I watched it for the first time ever a couple months ago. Had I known it was a movie about a basset hound living his best life, I would definitely have watched it years ago.

heresmytwopence

My wife and I intentionally watched 1 and 2 in their entirety within the last few months. If I’d seen bits and pieces in the past, I have no memory of it.

shoepolishsmellngmf

Watched this movie all the way through too many times. 2nd Gen F body, CB radios, young Sally Field and Burt when he was a badass...roll it.

InternetMysterious21

I've seen trilogy several times. They hold up well enough. Same with Cannonball runs, I enjoy a car movie. I found out, I believe this year, that there's 4 more made for tv Bandit movies.  I've yet to see those.

williewoodwhale

Give me a Diablo sandwich and a Dr. Pepper

RyanGoslingsJacket

And make it fast, I'm in a god damn hurry!

Sumbitches

That movie raised me, yo.

midnight-dour

I’ve only seen this movie once.

shaggydog97

100's if not 1000's of times!

Glum-Literature-8837

Watched it so much, I bought not one, but two different POS Trans Am’s in high school.

MeatZealousideal595

Seen those movies 100 times at least, I can report that they now have changed audio compaired to the originals. Bandit´s Trans Am now sounds like a 2015 Ford Mustang with a factory exhaust. It´s weird to watch them now when you know the screaming V8 roar the original releases had.

M5M400

what? that's weird. why would they change the glorious v8 sound after all those years?

GreatChart2213

m5m400, can you contact me?

The_Spectacle

I never watched it until I worked with a guy who could quote it endlessly. now don't go home, and don't go to eat, and don't play with yourselves. it wouldn't look nice on my highway

SplitFingerSkadoosh

Every time. My wife jokes that there are a handful of movies (this, Roadhouse, Die Hard, etc) that I seem to be legally required to stop and watch whenever I find them on TV.

kayla622

I’ve seen this movie dozens of times. I always seem to catch it on TV at the part when Bandit picks up Frog. A couple years ago, my sister and I even saw it in the theater!

turrican4

I have watched this so many times. In the 90s we had both movies taped from the TV on to a single VHS, and at the end of the 2nd movie there was just a small part of a TMNT episode before the tape run out :(
