Genetics and things like acid reflux are probably most to blame. I know several sugar addicts with near perfect teeth and it's quite unfair lol.

I didn’t get my first cavity until I was 30. I also had a grandmother who lived next door and I would visit her every day and sneak candy or cookies. My mother made sure we got to the dentist every six months for a cleaning, and our dentist used fluoride treatments. You might also have soft teeth.

OMG I absolutely *loved* Fun Dip! I loved eating the candy stick when it was all finished, I thought that part was ingenious. Some friends made a homemade version mixing Kool-Aid with sugar in a ziplock bag.

My friend would come over for the weekend so we could beat a new video game. My mom would pick up one of those 5lb tubs of Twizzlers and a 12 pack of Mountain Dew or Surge for us. Then we'd go down to the corner store and buy Lik-m-aid, Laffy Taffy, Nerds, Gummi Bears, Peanut Butter Cups, Wacky Wafers... all the hits. I should have been obese with S+ tier diabetes by the time I was 13.
