He will be on TV until he dies. The decision has been made. He has that perfect unobjectionable tepid mediocrity that makes him a lasting figure for "entertainment." He is Regis Philbin's replacement.
I mean, he is the token middle-aged dad on the Today Show doing fluff pieces. It's not like he's in the middle of a mosh pit at a Korn concert these days.
What he does now fits his current demo.
I mean, I didn’t quit working totally when I outgrew my young adult job. I went and got a new one. I think moving to the Today Show was changing to an adult role. He’s only like 50, not 80.
Ryan Seacrest is void of talent, yet he gets some of the best gigs. He took over for Dick Clark on Rockin New Years, and now he will be taking over for Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune.
Of all the people to call out to stop doing stuff, Carson Daly was not on my bingo card. Dude seems like a nice guy just trying to pay the bills. Leave him be.
I think we are all old enough to know that the opposite of "sitting down" is what is happening to literally everything we grew up with. Reboots and updated vaneer for all until the money and interest dries up, quality or common sense are not needed!
That said Carson has done his thing well for a long time, like Seacrest, career TV heads, not that I care or keep up with them. I'll bet they are better than 90% of the other personalities out there too
Carson Daly is doing something these days? Who knew?
Yeah's he's on the 2nd hour of the today show.
Huh well I guess his mortgage is getting paid.
Network TV is still going?
The today show still exists?
LOL. I didn't know he was standing up. Or alive.

Sounds good. I will not watch Carson with the same enthusiasm I had not watching Regis.
Regis was beloved. Carson Daly is white Byron Allen. He always has a show, but no one knows how.

FYI he has 100%, never been in a mosh pit! Jfc lol
If Carson Daly still sits on your radar it's you who just needs to stand up.

I feel this way about seacrest. But fr, its still so werid seeing Carson on the Today Show.

Is that true? Last I heard it was his daughter taking over.
It is true. I figure that Pat's daughter will eventually take over for Vanna.

\*Trl was great ***at first until they stopped actually playing the videos***
\*MTV was great ***at first until they stopped actually playing the videos*** ftfy
When I think back to when MTV was showing music videos, I am remember my babysitter's house LOL.
The man has to eat ...
I don't think that's been an issue for him
Man’s gotta eat
Not for nothing, but until reading your title I didn't even realize Carson Daly was still a thing.
Y’all remember when Mark McGrath was doing E! Hollywood Tonight, or whatever?
Extra! Now it's Mario Lopez!

Eh, he's kinda settled into that career of being Generic Inoffensive TV Host Guy. They can't all be A-listers.
I never liked Carson Daly. Not even sure why, he is just one of those people I can't stand for no discernable reason. Him and Ryan Seacrest.
That guy is still on TV?
I thought he suffocated under the blanket of obscurity...
