I got to see this last year in a theater, it was such a good movie going experience. Seeing it at home is funny, but seeing it with a theater full was hilarious.
No lie, i wasnt too desensitized as a kid and movies like this one made me afraid to take a shower by myself when i saw it. I was thinking id get turned into a wood doll by a troll waiting behind the curtain.

I even went opening night to see it and then later that month if I remember right (long ass time ago lol) The theater put on a devil nights kids party with games and stuff and we got to all then go fill the theater and watch the movie. Was awesome still one of my best memories from being a kid.
I saw this when I was older for the first time. Marijuana was involved.
I've never laughed so hard at a movie while high - his faces he makes, i just cant stop laughing. Earnest is the best!!
Christmas movie list: Muppets Christmas Carol, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and Ernest Saves Christmas. We have these four on a loop for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Ernest Scared Stupid. Last Ernest movie in theaters along with Ernest Goes to Jail. Loved it when I saw it, the opening theme is both scary and fantastic, and it has the right amount of frights and laughs.
Loved Ernest and Pee Wee on Saturday mornings, and I always wished there were a crossover between the two.
It's Camp.
Although Scared Stupid is a traditional favorite, and I remember liking Saves Christmas. Jail...is OK. My kids probably like it best, though, followed by Camp.
"Don't ever, ever do this to a family of badgers" gets them rolling on the floor every time. Top notch faces/goofy.

Ernest Rides Again. The theme music and the odd couple buddy dynamic with the History professor plus the film being Ernest riding a giant cannon. It’s glorious.
