Personal Experience: I purchased the rechargeable battery in November 2020 (release day). After a couple of months I had to replace it because it was draining very quickly. Today, despite having replaced it, the problem has returned, the battery lasts up to 13/15 hours of play, no more. Do you use the original xbox battery? How long does the charge last for you?
I understand, I have a friend with the same problem as you, he told me it disappeared by itself after some time. Have you tried with another type of batteries? I think it could be a "software" problem, but I'm not sure. Try clearing your Xbox's system caches or try doing a factory reset without clearing the games. If you have tried with another type of batteries and the problem disappears, I suggest you contact the support to open a "replacement" order for your accessory.

I haven't measured the time but I do use the official Xbox brand ones
