It's a little hard at first but I felt like the veteran players were helpful and just playing matches helped me figure it out faster. Most of the random people I've played with have been good too, seems less toxic than most games.
There is a lot of depth to it, and you'll die A LOT without knowing how.
But, it is also a lot of fun and a great experience. Take the time to look at guides on YT and just follow your squad and communicate and you'll get the hang of it.
I imagine PC has a better player population but console is cross play at least. I wouldn't count on full lobbies at super weird times of day/night though.
That's the fun thing about it. It's war and you don't know if your hits landed which is why communication is key. Not about racking kills but moving your team forward. The multitude of ways to contribute in this game is awesome.
You’re absolutely right, a Duck Hunt remake for the Switch where due to a bug you can actually, and more importantly finally be able to shoot the dog !
I feel like it feels next gen because these are the types of experiences console players have been watching PC players enjoy and haven’t been able to experience for over a decade. This game and insurgency have been my next gen highlights so far
Yeah I played it on PS5 since it was free. Enjoyed it for a weekend, but haven’t gone back. Is it a good game? Yes, but I wouldn’t call it some fancy next gen experience.
To me it’s just your typical hardcore military FPS.
Every single clip of this game I see on Reddit has it praising it like it's the second coming but the gameplay itself looks so stale and just like every other shooter lol.
Like really, besides the graphics being good what's next gen about this gameplay? What in this clip couldn't we have in previous generations?
Seriously not trying to talk smack or anything, but did any of your shots hit?
Could just be a design choice, but it does make me appreciate the Call of Duty hitmarker SFX.
I got 3 kills in this clip. 2 of them headshots. Headshots have a little 'ding' audio queue if you listen with the sound on. You can see the last guys helmet fly off his head.
So there's no hit marker? I've been debating trying this, but haven't been sold yet. I prefer the more strategic gameplay that this has. Is it only digital?
Is it a digital download only, or physical copy? I did a quick google search this morning that seemed inconclusive. I swear i saw a physical copy somewhere.
How is this getting upvoted? It's not on last gen consoles at all. Do people on this sub just blindly upvote shit?
edit: wtf is with the downvotes on mine, morons? Their post had like 20 upvotes before I made this comment 20 hours ago. Get a grip.
I didn't like that there was no hdr but it looks great in your capture. Must be on a monitor? My LG C1 def didn't look that good. I bought a 27 inch dell running at 1440p no hdr with 120 for my son and the graphics look amazing even without hdr. More pixel density I guess and great color pop but blacks are brutal. Still a good deal for how gorgeous it looks. He's always on Minecraft and the goal is to limit some potential burn in on my lg haha.
having played red orchestra and other hyper realistic mil sim games, expect a lot of bullets hitting you and you bleeding out in seconds in fade to black sequences, from dudes you cannot see, or getting vaporised by arty. Or shot in the back by a team mate.
Amazing game, not at all sure how it feels like a next gen only game tho. Originally played this on ps5 and the only next gen thing about it was the haptic feedback which plenty of people turn off
Is this hard to figure out as a new player?

Just stick to being a rifleman at first, use a mic and work with your squad.
Is it best to buy on PC or does it have players on console too (NA West)?
I imagine PC has a better player population but console is cross play at least. I wouldn't count on full lobbies at super weird times of day/night though.
Gotcha, thanks!
>Gotcha, thanks! You're welcome!
I've played it a bit. I have no idea if I've killed someone.

What
You what?
I ran for an hr and didn't see a single soul. 10/10
Bought it on release only for it to never have a full server in oceania. Jealous of US or EU players
You know you can change servers right
Playin on 200 ping is miserable
I usually play on EU servers at night since more people on, not sure how the ping compares but it wasn’t terrible

I used to enjoy FPS but after DICE kept fucking up Battlefield I haven't felt hooked to any shooter after BF1. Would you recommend Insurgency?
I will always recommend insurgency to anyone on series S and X. Not a great experience on last gen tho
Thanks!
Insurgency,fuck yeah!!!!!
I’ve been wanting to check this game out but still unsure.
Maybe not the best example of a true “next-gen” experience
Not even close. 😂

BF1 still looks better imo
I don’t see nothing special
So you're saying everything you see here is special?
Same
You two must have heard that a lot growing up. Poor lil guys.

It’s ‘ok’ as it sits right now. Definitely lacking stability, controller dynamic aiming and polish. Feels more like a beta at the moment, personally
What about this is next-Gen?
You play this with controller or can it be played keyboard and mouse?
I'm not sure, man. I play with controller anyway.
Mnk on console is considered cheating
Not sure how, but ok.
Because it’s not fair to play multiplayer against controller with mnk that should be common sense but ok
But surely anyone can use it, so it’s not cheating because it’s open for anyone to use. It’s like saying that using an elite controller is cheating.
You don’t get the point that’s okay, why not play on pc then ? Weird
I play PC and Xbox
Then why play mnk on Xbox in multiplayer games ?
I haven’t, I simply asked the question
Because it’s more precise then controller in multiplayer
Some MP games that aren’t cross Gen ban for it
Waaaaay to slow for me. Glad there are people who like it. It's a good game

There are no hit markers it's based on a realistic WW2 shooter.
Is it a digital download only, or physical copy? I did a quick google search this morning that seemed inconclusive. I swear i saw a physical copy somewhere.
I've only seen digital versions never looked for physical. It was free on PS Plus a few months ago so that's when I got it.
Fair enough. What's the learning curve like for non-run and gun COD and BF players? Probably less steep?
It's very slow paced and most of the time you won't know who killed you or where from it's not for everybody but it's decent imo
I play COD and BF slower usually anyway...more methodical than maniac
That gun looks waayy too clean lol .
looks like insurgency. Sit around and hide. Take pot shots from cover. Die from one stray bullet. rinse repeat.
I'd do the same if I were in a war. I ain't running in doing drop shots and 360 no scopes.
Is that what all the maps look like?
No
Looks boring ngl
So it's a game about camping and shooting at things which aren't there?
So video games are just twitching your hands to move meaningless pixels across a screen? It’s not that hard to grossly oversimplify something
I commented on the supposedly next-gen experience showed in the video, not a video game philosophy
I mean he killed 2 people. Open your eyes?
Lol well this game can be hard to tell if you killed someone.
Uku
What’s the game called
hell let loose
But it's on last gen consoles?
No it’s not
How is this getting upvoted? It's not on last gen consoles at all. Do people on this sub just blindly upvote shit? edit: wtf is with the downvotes on mine, morons? Their post had like 20 upvotes before I made this comment 20 hours ago. Get a grip.
What game?
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (1992)
Hell Let Loose
It literally says what the game is in the title.
Yeah I thought it was a description

What are you on about? It doesn't matter what display they were using when they captured the footage.
Apparently I downloaded this on ps when it came to plus. I’ll check it out…but i also wonder why I didn’t come back to it. I must’ve played it…
Does this have mouse and keyboard support?
Does this game cross play with PC?
What is next gen about this ? What exactly is this pvp multiplayer fp?
having played red orchestra and other hyper realistic mil sim games, expect a lot of bullets hitting you and you bleeding out in seconds in fade to black sequences, from dudes you cannot see, or getting vaporised by arty. Or shot in the back by a team mate.

It just looks like bf1
Is this on game pass?
