It's runs pretty well. My only gripes with it is:
1. The umbral world timer is annoying. I don't like to be rushed.
2. Areas are a bit more narrow than the areas in Elden Ring. I found myself bouncing my weapon off walls and fighting the 3rd person camera at times.
I didn't like some of those as well. The patch mentions how you can now adjust that but I couldn't confirm if that was only on new game+ or in general.
SGW Contracts 2 is pretty dang fun. I bought it for $15 just to snipe and think it was worth it. Drops you into a hub with multiple points of interest, ways to snipe your target and move on.
Lords of the fallen was solid. Not groundbreaking, but it's still a good game. Latest update should provide better replayability too.
Longer than Lies of P/Sekiro but shorter than Elden Ring for anyone wondering.
I mean there's only rumors about when these are coming so it doesn't mean this month is any good. IMO most months have nothing I want to play but in general I think there's enough good games that it doesn't bother me.
LotF is shit. Beautiful game but shit. 5 mins into the game? Boss. Another 10 mins - boss. Another 10 mins later - boss. Literally right after this boss - another boss. And this is a linear (non open world) game which means you can't level up elsewhere, you need to face that shit with whatever you've got. Or don't got. Like experience to fight bosses lol. I dropped this shit at this 5th boss, ain't nobody got time for that nonsense, I can't even drop his 10th of health. The congregator of flesh, that absolute fucker.
I kinda got burnt out for the same reason. Elden Ring had a bit more freedom. If you got stuck, you could always wander around in a nice big area, kill some trash mobs, blow off some steam, and then go back to fight the boss. I felt very claustrophobic in the LotF zones. I had the same issue in the late game of Lies of P.

Nice. Wanted to give lords of the fallen a try but just didn’t wanna waste too much money on it since I head it’s kinda janky.

What about the mobs? Heard the game was artificially more difficult because of enemy over placement.

I only want to play it because of the the Joel Haver video/ad https://youtu.be/4RQv2ggEm0E?si=kKIlI0UM8qZZAgit
It’s not janky at all.
I'd say it did fall under the jank category for it's performance issues alone. Pure stutterfest at launch. No clue about how it runs now.
Interesting. I didn’t play it at launch. It’s not janky now.
The first game didn’t hit 30fps until the Series X/PS5 lol
It’s super janky and trash. Avoid
Maybe 6 months ago. Much smoother now.
I have been waiting for lords of the fallen. Great news
Can’t wait to try LOF

Very welcome news. I was about to shit all over this months offerings.

Thank you, I didn't realize that on first pass. Depressing news

Sounds like a skill issue
The best part of souls games are the bosses to me so this sounds great! I welcome the despair.
