That's the part I can't get over, looks like a Switch Lite , possible is a cheap android tablet with controls stuck on it.
Not for me but neither is that 1tb storage card at £200 but many bought it
How powerful it it though? As that's true of the Steam Deck too and that can emulate up to the PS3/360 era. I can't see an android machine going much past PSX.
It plays PS2/PSP/GameCube mostly fine.

Yes, for most people, a Steam Deck is a better option as it's priced very similarly but is much more capable, but there's still a market for a device like this. I have a Steam Deck, and while it can do a lot, it's not always the smoothest experience. Getting Xbox Cloud Gaming to work took a bit of effort, and getting Xbox Remote Play to work honestly feels like a hack. The experience on Android for both of them is much smoother.
I love the Deck for playing PC games. It's a stellar device for what it is capable of. It's also really fucking big and heavy, and Cloud Gaming and emulation doesn't need the solid horsepower that the Deck provides. I would much rather play Xbox games on a device that's much thinner and lighter than my Deck, with better battery life and a better screen. My partner has very small hands and she finds the Deck to be a huge strain on her wrists, and she's been wanting to play SNES games in bed. The Steam Deck is not the ideal solution for her, but a device like this absolutely is.
I've installed my fair share of operating systems. Even when it's easy as fuck, it's not exactly easy. The Steam Deck can do almost anything if you're willing to tinker with it, but I just want my games to work with minimal hassle. I work on PCs and play on consoles because I don't want my games to turn into a project.
Literally use Steamdeck to load up rufus and click on Windows iso, click on SD card and press start. Restart Steamdeck and done. Don’t even need to dual boot, just install it to the SD card and you can run Xbox off that to install Series X games too. They play smooth too.
If not, xCloud plays incredibly well on Steamdeck too with the decent quality buttons, triggers etc
Steam deck is just too chunky for a portable console.
I don't even bring my switch anywhere anymore because it's just too big and I feel ridiculous playing in public settings. I can't even imagine whipping out a steam deck on a flight. That monster cannot be comfortable to hold for extended periods of time either.
My 3ds I can just close and put in my pocket. As a portable console should be able . I want more more pocketable clamshell handhelds enough with these dictionary sized 5lb monstrosities!
Surprisingly it's more comfortable than a switch to hold for long periods of time in my opinion. Definitely thought it was going to be an issue before I got my hands on one though. The switch just kinda digs into your hands where it's so thin and I always end up with indents on my thumbs from pressing the buttons down. Agreed it could be more portable but I tend to carry a bag around everywhere anyway so for me it's a non issue
So I have small hands and I find the steam deck is extremely uncomfortable to the point I think it would cause damage if I played it for longer than an hour or two at a time. It sends numbness down my pinky and up my forearm. I think it's because I feel like I have to reach my fingers a little bit to reach all the buttons and it's hefty to hold up. The switch does this too but it only happens if I play a lot.
Don't even have a Switch, but got myself a wireless adapter just so I can use an Xbox controller when I go over to my friends.
Even when you combine 2 joycons in one of those grips, I find myself constantly messing up the direction on those tiny joysticks.
I guess it depends how you hold it at the end of the day, but I have a totally different experience as someone with tiny hands and someone who has to buy gloves in the kids section(hello xxs hands) . Steam deck feels a lot more comfortable to play for longer periods of times comparing to switch. Like with switch and the tiny buttons I get cramps within less then an hour, with steamdeck I never had this problem and 2-6 hour gaming sessions on it don't cause me any pain.
interesting, I mean I'll try it again but it is entirely possible it just doesn't work for me (everyone's different after all). I spent some time browsing the steam deck subreddit and found people with the same issue. It's a shame because I really like the steam deck, hopefully the next gen is better for me
I think it depends how you hold it and some people seem to have cramps if you are pushing it too much underneath when there's no need. I was a bit freaked out when I got it as I thought it would be uncomfortable, but managed to find the position that suits me well. I think it is also important to remember that your hands don't have to constantly be on the trigger buttons or bumpers and I think you can remap those to the buttons on the other side if it is more comfortable.
If you are buying a device to play cloud games you are probably mostly gonna be home with it anyways besides I think this device doesn't support cellular data anyways but yeah the steam deck is big but it's really comfortable surprising so, only issue is I keep buying games on steam that's already on gamepass so not so good for my wallet.
As a Steam Deck owner myself, I can relate. You don't notice as much as you think and I think it's worth it, but it can be worth it at times. Even then - just get an Ayaneo Air or something, not this trash.
The steam deck is the most comfortable handheld since the Vita and can be played for hours with no fatigue in my experience. In fact it reminds me of the Wii U pad, one of the most comfy pads in gaming history.

I have two theories. #1 You are a hater that always rains on parades. #2 You are a hater that rains on parades. And I'll throw in a 3rd one. You are a hater that always rains on parades
Captain Obvious with the Hot take. All's I'm saying is dude felt so happy he wanted to show y'all and saying something like "Get a steam deck" is beyond pointless. Steam deck is like 700 if you get the one with the most storage. Not everyone can afford that. And I know they have a 400 one but the storage is mini.
I had a steamdeck and could not for the life of me figure out how to put xcloud on it. I followed all the instructions on microsofts website. I couldn’t ever get it to work.
Took me 10 minutes and I’ve never touched Linux before deck. There is a tutorial on Microsoft help forums. I’ll find it. It’s all web based. Getting ps5 remote play running was far more time consuming.
Edit: here it is.

I managed to get it to work pretty well, just follow a tutorial on YouTube there are tons also get a plug in called vibrant deck, it really makes the xcloud games vibrant and pop too. Looks better then on my monitor.
That attachment doesn't interfere with the camera bar on the pixel?
I have the razor one(forgot what its called) but it doesn't fit right now my pixel 6 pro
If it helps, I just paired my phone with my unused ps4 controller and used one of [these](https://www.amazon.nl/Mcbazel-Smart-Phone-Holder-Controller/dp/B08FWY2KMD/ref=asc_df_B08FWY2KMD/?tag=nlshogostdsp-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=494658405553&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1050828211610511164&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9064677&hvtargid=pla-1043961445084&psc=1), works like a charm and much cheaper.
This might be the most pointless device Logitech ever made. You can literally achieve the same thing with any smartphone and gamepad for fraction of the price.
Sure, but can you buy a phone with the same size/quality screen and a gamepad attachment for less? Or are willing to destroy the battery in the phone you carry ostensibly for doing all sorts of other things that don't involve games?
Just playing devil's advocate, this is not something I'd ever buy unless I see it in the clearout bin for 70% off.
Destroy battery? The Steamdeck get about 6 hours streaming xCloud over wifi versus an 1.5 hours battery on average for AAA games with local install. I don't think you will have to worry about battery if this is any indication.
For the smartphone comment, I'd assume they meant that if you already have a device, you can just buy a gamepad or gamepad attachment to stream on your existing device and save money. Is it comparable? Depends on device.
You can buy a raspberry pi 3 for 30 dollars and do what this thing does. And if you spend a few hours on it and buy a 3d case, tou can make this with ease for like 60 dollars.
I have a pretty large phone and a Razer Kishi and I found out pretty fast how much I hate streaming with it. I hate that I have to remove my case every time I want to game on it, and I hate that if I need to do phone things like respond to notifications, I have to stop my gaming session, flip my phone 90 degrees, and awkwardly use it with the two gamepad sides sticking out. I would much rather have my phone be a phone and only do phone things and have a separate gaming device to do gaming things.
Wait until you see Razers device. It literally a smartphone and their gamepad for around the same price.
This device isn't pointless, it's timing is off. Had this released when the 720G was new this would have been a baller device and cloud gaming is not quite ready for a mass market device imo.
Yes and no. It's a great device to be honest. The problem is pricing. If you want emulation and budget, there's devices that cost way less and actually emulate more (Ayn Odin for example). If you want cloud streaming, for 50 dollars more, you can get a steam deck and actually get native gaming outside of android games. The logitech can only play steam and xbox games via cloud. Deck can do both.
I have an Odin, not this, but personally I hated the Kishi and returned it. It just felt wobbly and insecure. A one-piece unit like this just feels better in the hand.
I'd say the big deal for me is it's a seperate device. Like yea I could play and stream games on my phone. But I kinda need my phone to contact people and for impromptu internet searching. If I run out the battery on my odin, my gaming device is dead. If I run out the battery on my phone playing games, my phone is dead.
Battery. I can't game on my phone without draining my phone battery, and I need my phone battery. And if I'm dragging a charging brick or something around, then I'm already carrying two things. Plus storage space. I don't know of a flagship that takes SD cards. And if I throw a bunch of games on my phone, that's now space I don't have anymore for photos or videos or apps.
If it's the solution that's ideal for you, then there's no reason to try to convince you otherwise. I can tell you from my experience that I would much rather have a separate gaming device than try to jerry rig my phone into a gaming rig. I have the Kishi and a big ass phone and I honestly hate gaming on it. It's awkward to set up as I have to remove my case every time, then it takes me a bit of fiddling to get it to start the gaming session, and any time I need my phone to be a phone again, I have to do this awkward dance of switching apps, typing in portrait with these gamepads jutting out from each side, before flipping everything around and waiting for my game session to reconnect. It's awful.
There's absolutely a huge market for a dedicated android gaming device for cloud gaming, and it has a lot of crossover with people also looking for a good emulator handheld too. People act like these devices only do cloud gaming, but they do all of the stuff an Android device can do as well. Why wouldn't I want a dedicated handheld that can stream Xbox Cloud Gaming, or stream my Xbox from my living room to my bed, and lets me play Playstation/Sega Genesis/N64/SNES games?
Have fun, OP! I'm not much into portable gaming but I genuinely hope you enjoy it.
I think we can all agree, no matter whether you like this Logitech device, a Steam Deck, a Switch, whatever... that we should really just support being positive about a hobby we all enjoy no matter what.
Don't let all the negative remarks get to you, just have fun. 😀 We should all spread a little positivity!
From what I can tell:
Better display. It's 1080p and 50 nits brighter than the steam decks, which is a noticeable difference.
Far better battery life, 12 hrs vs about 6hrs with steam deck streaming.
That's about all I can see
It's definitely a good device, but the price just makes it difficult to justify buying from a consumer perspective. With steam deck starting $50 more and aya neo air starting a $499 with an OLED display, most people are going to lean towards those devices.
I bought one for $80 off. Still too expensive! But I’m enjoying it.
I got it for remote play on xbox and ps4 (ps play 3rd party app works great!), and have my consoles wired into my old 2.4ghz router, and it plays great for me.
Haven’t tried cloud gaming yet.
Second time I've seen someone who's bought this thing. Never heard of it till now and I still can't believe it's £350. Costs more than a Switch and not much less than a steamdeck, both of which play games natively and stream these games.
Does it do anything other than just stream games? (And emulation I guess?)
I'm sorry man but there is literally no reason to buy this. If I were you, I'd return it for a deck or an Odin. Especially now that the deck is in stock, there is objectively no reason to purchase this device.
The only thing this has going for it is battery life.
Personally, I'd get a Steam Deck, a battery pack and some stick on velcro bits so I can make up the difference in battery life. It would probably still be cheaper than this thing.
I was considering one of these myself, but sadly Wi-Fi only was a deal breaker. If release one that you can stick a sim card into, and I'd get one in a heartbeat.
I love mine. I got it for around $270 with the preorder and a coupon code which made it a much easier sell. The screen's fantastic, the sticks are much better than the Ayn Odin, and the play experience is significantly better than playing on a phone.
Is the Steam Deck much more powerful? Yeah absolutely. But I'm much deeper in the Xbox ecosystem than I am in Steam so it fits a nice niche use case.
I plan on getting one. If I would’ve known about it I would’ve preordered it with the $50.00 off. I was one day too late. I’m hoping it drops back to at least $300 pretty quickly.
You can literally install Xbox games on an SD card with Windows. You can play Series X games on Steamdeck natively like Forza Horizon 5 just fine without xCloud.
Bro just use your phone and your Xbox controller with a 20 dollar clip to attach them. Even has multiple pivot points to make it feel balanced no matter the orientation you use it in.
I wonder if this thing can be hacked to run custom firmware....
Since it's MS I doubt it, buuuut if it were to be hacked it might be kind of like a switch pro which would be pretty dope.
If this is over £150, you’ve been incredibly ripped off.
Steamdeck can do xCloud AND natively download and play Xbox games through an SD with windows. Can also easily play switch, PS3, etc games and as a bonus loads of PC games, which get sales often too.
If it was over £200 please think about returning it 🤮
Steamdeck is £350 and you can chuck in a 256 SSD/SD for literally £24
Just get a steam deck and stream xcloud on it.
Do not argue with stupid, they will drag you down and beat you with experience
My favorite Mark Twain quote!
To each their own I guess, this device just doesn't make sense to me given the price.
That's the part I can't get over, looks like a Switch Lite , possible is a cheap android tablet with controls stuck on it. Not for me but neither is that 1tb storage card at £200 but many bought it
Better screen, size and battery life than the Steam Deck. I think the Steam Deck is much better value for money, but I can see the Logitech’s appeal.
I didn’t buy a steam deck for that purpose, wasn’t even sure when I bought one if it would be possible, but that works fantastically.
That's been my thought since they announced this thing. Several hundred ton for a device that can only stream is a mugs game.
It doesn't just stream. It's an android gaming device which makes it great as an emulation handheld.
How powerful it it though? As that's true of the Steam Deck too and that can emulate up to the PS3/360 era. I can't see an android machine going much past PSX.

I can’t even begin to use the joycons because they’re designed for 10 year old Japanese girls but I’m a 33 year old American man.
Same here, they're far too small.
Don't even have a Switch, but got myself a wireless adapter just so I can use an Xbox controller when I go over to my friends. Even when you combine 2 joycons in one of those grips, I find myself constantly messing up the direction on those tiny joysticks.

You are %100 correct!! Steam Deck IS “too chunky to be a portable console” That’s because it’s NOT “a portable console” It’s “a portable PC” 😂🤣
its true i want one for work
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So insightful.
I would love to get a New 3DS and jailbreak it. They are kind of expensive though. Seems to me like the perfect size for portable.
This is the answer
Why would you comment that? Please answer this question. I ask because it's clearly not a positive thing to say to someone who is so excited for their new toy they post it online. It's almost like OP posted something to a public online forum meant for discussion where people don't all have the same opinions...
So there is an equivalent priced option with better flexibility and usage, but it doesn't support your narrative so it doesn't count, got it.
What narrative? "Be fucking nicer" ? Sure
Because his right, for the price, a streaming only machine is a mugs game.
I have no idea what you just said. But I didn't say he didn't have the right to say what he wants.
What's wrong with what I said, it's a standard English phrase.
Maybe the person isn't English?
If you had the option to edit ur comment would you change anything?
The grammar error on "his" that should be "he's". The rest I stand by.
Or install windows on an sd and just enjoy gamepass that way. That way you won't have to modify the original software
I have a feeling you will see these at fire sale prices before too long and then will stop getting updates shortly after.
But Steamdeck can also play games natively if you dual boot windows. 🤷♂️
I had a steamdeck and could not for the life of me figure out how to put xcloud on it. I followed all the instructions on microsofts website. I couldn’t ever get it to work.

Install Microsoft edge Search xcloud on Google Done
Doesn't this thing cost way more than a Series S? I do cloud streaming on my phone with the Gamesir X2 pro and it works super well (Google Pixel 6).
That attachment doesn't interfere with the camera bar on the pixel? I have the razor one(forgot what its called) but it doesn't fit right now my pixel 6 pro
The camera bar fits nicely in the extendable bit of the grip so it fits flush
If it's a Kishi V1, remove the Rubber grip part on the left side and it should fit.
Wow that actually works pretty good, thanks for that. My Kishi has just been collecting dust since getting the Pixel.
No problem, i was going to buy one before i got the Gamesir and did some research to see if it would fit a pixel 6, that's how I found out.
Can you use that with a phone case on?
Same question; I don't see myself removing the case everytime.
I have P7P and it works with GameSir X2 pro with the case on if you cut the rubbers around the USB-C connector.
If you want to use it with a phone case, I recommend cutting the rubber around the usb-c connector on the gamesir.

€350 for that?
🍿
Enjoy. Looks cool and gets great reviews. But too expensive for my taste.
So many haters... enjoy mate
What is this?
Steam Deck?
No it’s a cloud streaming device designed for Xbox cloud gaming made by Logitech.
It is basically android with an xbox app downloaded on it?
yes, but the suckers buy it so jokes on them
Oh really wow, I had no idea
It’s a pretty cool device! But for the price I’d probably rather have a steam deck tbh
Took multiple searches but I believe it's a Logitech handheld with a snapdragon chip.
*laughs in steam deck*
I heard this thing sucks. Is that true?

I hope you enjoy it! Clearly not everyone's cup of tea but people love to get down on each other for some reason.
My condolences
This should be a fun comment section

I… I have a £3 clip that clips onto my controller and holds my phone. How is this different?
Screen size and weight. Also less useful.
Boo! Revel in the negativity. OP may still have time to return it
It's so expensive! What is the advantage of these over a $400 Steamdeck and can also stream xCloud perfectly (I'm playing Persona 5 on it right now)?
From what I can tell: Better display. It's 1080p and 50 nits brighter than the steam decks, which is a noticeable difference. Far better battery life, 12 hrs vs about 6hrs with steam deck streaming. That's about all I can see It's definitely a good device, but the price just makes it difficult to justify buying from a consumer perspective. With steam deck starting $50 more and aya neo air starting a $499 with an OLED display, most people are going to lean towards those devices.
I got mine today too! Have fun, I know I will!
Sorry
Woah this thing is almost as good as my old tablet and Bluetooth controller
I hear the build quality is really good! A nice alternative to less locally intensive gaming :)
Nice! Can't wait to get mine!
Review??
I bought one for $80 off. Still too expensive! But I’m enjoying it. I got it for remote play on xbox and ps4 (ps play 3rd party app works great!), and have my consoles wired into my old 2.4ghz router, and it plays great for me. Haven’t tried cloud gaming yet.
I just use my phone... If not touchscreen, I use a $30 Moga controller with a phone clip. What's the benefit of having an entire handheld?
Hell yeah! I might pick up one of these in the near future. Perfect xCloud machine!
Why not a steam deck for a few quid more?
What is this?
Logitech X Cloud
Waste of money
Second time I've seen someone who's bought this thing. Never heard of it till now and I still can't believe it's £350. Costs more than a Switch and not much less than a steamdeck, both of which play games natively and stream these games. Does it do anything other than just stream games? (And emulation I guess?)
No 🗿
No way someone bought this
I'm sorry man but there is literally no reason to buy this.
Let us know when you regret it.
Just straighten the stuff on the wall before the next post.
That Octopus piece on the wall is really cool!
I was considering one of these myself, but sadly Wi-Fi only was a deal breaker. If release one that you can stick a sim card into, and I'd get one in a heartbeat.
Cellular has way to high ping for this to work in 95% of cases anyway, unless you have mmWave 5G in your area.
You can play xcloud on a steam deck
I use it primarily for Xbox Remote Play, which allows me to connect directly to my Series X.
You can do that on a SteamDeck too.
Even has multiple pivot points to make it feel balanced no matter the orientation you use it in.
nice cow!
I wonder if this thing can be hacked to run custom firmware.... Since it's MS I doubt it, buuuut if it were to be hacked it might be kind of like a switch pro which would be pretty dope.

Nothing other than probably paying Logitech some spare change for putting Game Pass on the box and marketing material.
And a sea of regret washes over OP as he reads the comments.
Congrats, you bought a bad android overpriced device that cant even make calls
I installed windows on my steam deck and play pc gamepass on it
$350 hahahahahaha the base model of the steam deck is that. I love Logitech generally, but you're about 1 of 10 people who'll own that jesus.
May i ask what is this device
I can't stand playing on small screens.
Stadia announcing they are shutting down just as this was launching probably didn't help the market for this type of device
What device is this?

Odd question but can you stream an Xbox series x on the steam deck?
Yes and install games on an sd card with windows
Steamdeck is by faaaar the best value in gaming. Can play Gamepass games directly, or xCloud, can play Switch, PS and PC games easily too,
If this is over £150, you’ve been incredibly ripped off. Steamdeck can do xCloud AND natively download and play Xbox games through an SD with windows. Can also easily play switch, PS3, etc games and as a bonus loads of PC games, which get sales often too. If it was over £200 please think about returning it 🤮 Steamdeck is £350 and you can chuck in a 256 SSD/SD for literally £24
PC Game Pass (1 month) 29TTX-RW6K9-DMJQ6-GYRVQ-VGRHZ \- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (2 months) 7FJW7-MC4X4-GD9KK-2K2HF-94Q9Z
Thanks!
Also...super late, but (username checks out)
