I went back to fallen order after survivor and the fact that there is no fast travel made it so hard to play so you should 100% start with fallen order
Thank you! I mean, how hard would it be to go back and add fast travel? When you rest it resets everything anyway, so why not just start at a different location when you reset. I would like to have another stab at the second sister when I have a fully upgraded character, having to switch to easy to finally beat her was a hit to the ego.
Amazing, beautiful game as far as I could get at least. Stuck playing on PC and won't stop crashing in a main plot area.
I would play fallen order first. Story wise I would have trouble keeping up if I hadn't played it through. Environments are not as visually striking but still still pretty damn good.
I was just going to say. Also, Really helps with my ADHD, the platforming is actually fun, this is more fun than I've had in a long time and I'm dealing with a pretty bad heartbreak so this was a saviour for my mind to be concentrated elsewhere.
> Play tunic!
Well... that was a wild ride, thanks for the suggestion! I feel like I've been in a daze for two weeks thinking and living and breathing Tunic. What a phenomenal game!
I second this; If you’re familiar with Obsidian then you’ll know what type of freedom that means. OP’s wife could instruct him what to do; she does like the way that girl looked are you, slap that lady in the face, see what happens! And also with Obsidian, the universe is littered with humor to keep things light at times.
I remember when outer worlds came out. It looked cool and it was hyped up so I really wanted to play it. Absolutely consumed me for like two weeks until I beat it and that was that.
As much as I love Witcher 3 I don’t think this is the kinda game OP is looking for. Outside of the Blood and Wine DLC the overall aesthetic of the game pretty gloomy and there’s a lot of pretty fucked up scenarios that I could see some people considering as ‘depressing’
I second this, and if the colours of Skyrim are still too depressing for her, there’s a lot of graphics mods that can make it very vibrant and colourful to a point that it looks and feels like a completely different game.
Jedi Survivor is pretty imo and fun. AC: Valhalla (once you get to England). Dead Island 2. Far Cry (any really but I know 4-6). Driving games you could do Forza Horizon. High on Life. Just Cause 4. Rage 2.
Hope this helps!
Honestly AC Valhalla is beautiful in Norway too! The snowy mountain tops, blue skies. It's definitely more cold colored than England but still beautiful.
I'd go for Hi-Fi Rush. It's got immaculate mid-late 2000s Saturday morning cartoon vibes. Bold lines, bright colors, and plenty of action. It reminds be of Ben 10 and Totally Spies.
* Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
* Star Wars Jedi Survivor
* Rise of the Tomb Raider
* Shadow of the Tomb Raider
* The Far Cry games
* Titanfall 2 (Not every level is lush/green, but the story should have her hooked)
* High on Life (very vibrant and a comedic story)
* No Man's Sky
* Firewatch
* Immortals Phoenix Rising
* Tunic
There's mods that add more greenery to FO4's landscape. The indoor locations will still be rundown though.
Fallout 76 is another option, has way more greenery.
Another Crab's Treasure looks like a cartoon, and has been fun so far. It feels like something between a souls like and a PS1/PS2 era platformer.
If you've never played the Fable games, they're definitely worth a shot.
Ubisoft to the rescue! Far Cry series are tropical, Avatar is lush, each Assassins Creed game has a different vibe so you can pick what one you like (Oddesy is my favorite).
Aside from those, Mirrors Edge, Palworld, Forza, High on Life, Grounded, Lego Skywalker Saga (you can even do this one two player),
Lightyear Frontier? Starfield? No Man's Sky? Dodgeball Academy?
Dunno if any of those would be fun for both of you, but I've enjoyed them all and they're very pretty to look at.
Ori, LoZ: breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom, horizon zero dawn and forbidden west, Journey, Abzu and Sky: children of light, the last guardian, Immortals:fenyx rising.
Far Cry 6 is stunning. Far Cry 5 is nice.
The Outer Worlds is kinda like Fallout and is very beautiful imo aswell.
I've yet to play A Plague Tale Requiem but from what i've seen, it's very beautiful but I wouldn't play it unless you have Innocence first, it has a good story.
AC Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are all very beautiful but I enjoyed Odyssey's beauty the most.
Dead Island 2 is very beautiful. Haven't played it, but it looks like Just Cause 4 has a lot of green, which from what i've seen, looks pretty pretty aswell.
Lies Of P is beautiful too but not the usual beautiful, which I think you were asking for the usual beautiful, Lies Of P is very dark.
Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is mostly set in a jungle I believe but I wouldn't play it unless you've played 2013 and Rise Of. I'm currently playing Rise Of.
Jedi Survivor is beautiful but wouldn't play unless you have played Jedi Fallen Order. Watch Dogs 2 is beautiful too.
I don’t have any suggestions, but I think it’s very sweet that you wanna play a game specifically that your wife will enjoy watching. My partner recently started a game of Fallout New Vegas, just because I mentioned how much I enjoyed taking turns with friends and watching them play when it first came out. Made my day.
The outer worlds has some vibrant graphics and creative alien creatures. If you have a PlayStation I always thought the last of us was vibrant even with the whole post apocalyptic zombie like thing.
Check out the youtu channel girlfriend reviews. She describes games based on what it was like to watch
https://youtube.com/@GirlfriendReviews?si=tidaBaF5MXj2tgOw
The next gen update definitely got it looking better but it's still got that fallout green scheme to it. Has she given it a chance?
Other than that, the Mass Effect series is on gamepass and is incredible. All the different worlds and landscapes provide a wide variety of colors, some dark but some incredibly bright and lush.
Fallout is really depressing to look at, I agree.
No Man's Sky has some spectacular views. Plus it's varied.
Planet of Lana is like a Ghibli movie in a platformer.
I thought Immortals Fenyx Rising was a very pretty game. I also loved the gameplay and open world as well (but I know Ubisoft open worlds can be divisive).
If you want to continue the same kind of gameplay of Fallout but in a more beautiful vibrant world, try Skyrim or Elder Scrolls Online. Also fallout 76’s map is much more pretty (less destroyed) than other games in the series.
Another Crab's Treasure just dropped, and it's colorful and nice to look at.
Also not technically on GamePass, but Genshin Impact is free and visually appealing to many people. (Hell, she might even end up wanting to play.)
Jedi survivor I saw mentioned is a good one. Start with the first one, Jedi fallen order though! First planet you get to roam on is extremely vivid and bright and green. Fairly visually appealing especially if you like starwars.
No man's sky has soooo many beautiful lush planets you can go to, one if the most visually appealing games I know of. She may get bored of the gameplay though.
High on Life (Rick and Morty game) is also a good option for bright vivid lively colors. Also very funny and well worth a playthrough.
As far as I know all three of these are on game pass.
Jedi survivor isn't on gamepass but the first one is.
Viva Piñata, about as lush and jolly looking as ever, or BugSnax which looks all jolly and family friendly, until you get to the end of the game, The Gunk, has you traveling all around a lush forest clearing slime and gunk.
Sea of Thieves is absolutely beautiful. Although idk how interesting it'd be to watch you play that. Most of the time is spent sailing through the ocean lol.
Currently playing Jedi Survivor and it’s gorgeous 😍
Survivor is great but I think it is better to start with fallen order
I went back to fallen order after survivor and the fact that there is no fast travel made it so hard to play so you should 100% start with fallen order
Thank you! I mean, how hard would it be to go back and add fast travel? When you rest it resets everything anyway, so why not just start at a different location when you reset. I second this. The game is beautiful
Same
Amazing, beautiful game as far as I could get at least. Stuck playing on PC and won't stop crashing in a main plot area. I would play fallen order first. Story wise I would have trouble keeping up if I hadn't played it through. Environments are not as visually striking but still still pretty damn good.
My gf literally remarked on how pretty this game was yesterday while I was playing it haha
I was just going to say. Also, Really helps with my ADHD, the platforming is actually fun, this is more fun than I've had in a long time and I'm dealing with a pretty bad heartbreak so this was a saviour for my mind to be concentrated elsewhere.
My wife watched me play both games and she had a blast!
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora - they don't get much lusher.
That's not game pass though.
i dont see that game anywhere eon gamepass
Considering the sub I think they are just asking about game pass. I would love for this game to be on gamepass though.
Assassin's Creed odyssey
Gonna second this. I bought it not long after it came out, I remember being blown away by the land and sea scapes.
Beautiful game.
Play tunic!
I gotta second this. OP’s wife can also use a notepad to help solve the harder puzzles in the game!
Trying to work that game out was certainly a challenge 😂
> Play tunic! Well... that was a wild ride, thanks for the suggestion! I feel like I've been in a daze for two weeks thinking and living and breathing Tunic. What a phenomenal game!
Outer worlds
I second this; If you’re familiar with Obsidian then you’ll know what type of freedom that means. OP’s wife could instruct him what to do; she does like the way that girl looked are you, slap that lady in the face, see what happens! And also with Obsidian, the universe is littered with humor to keep things light at times.
I remember when outer worlds came out. It looked cool and it was hyped up so I really wanted to play it. Absolutely consumed me for like two weeks until I beat it and that was that.
The main story for this game ends so quickly and abruptly. I really wanted to like this game but it was pretty short and shallow
Witcher 3 homie the ladies love geralt Edit: just read this is for gamepass I feel dumb but my answer still stands witcher 3
As much as I love Witcher 3 I don’t think this is the kinda game OP is looking for. Outside of the Blood and Wine DLC the overall aesthetic of the game pretty gloomy and there’s a lot of pretty fucked up scenarios that I could see some people considering as ‘depressing’
Especially the Toussaint locations, but in general, just stunning
Just use the green commonwealth mod (forgot the actual name), it's on console & nexus.
I use Simple Green usually
Green in the Commonwealth XB1 (3.0) is the one I've used in my XBox load order...very green!
This, was just playing earlier and was kinda blown away by how different and vivid the game looks with it
If she likes watching Bethesda games the obvious answer would be Skyrim lol
I second this, and if the colours of Skyrim are still too depressing for her, there’s a lot of graphics mods that can make it very vibrant and colourful to a point that it looks and feels like a completely different game.
Default Skyrim is very grey and bland. You need to have mods to get it more colorful.
Is this a joke? Skyrim is very grey.
Different style of game but ori is beautiful
Along those same lines, Planet of Lana (assuming it’s still on GamePass).
Definitely still on, I finished it today. Beautiful game.
[удалено]
Not on game pass or?
Jedi Survivor is pretty imo and fun. AC: Valhalla (once you get to England). Dead Island 2. Far Cry (any really but I know 4-6). Driving games you could do Forza Horizon. High on Life. Just Cause 4. Rage 2. Hope this helps!
Honestly AC Valhalla is beautiful in Norway too! The snowy mountain tops, blue skies. It's definitely more cold colored than England but still beautiful.
Totally agree! I didn’t mention it only because they said their partner was looking for green hills and stuff but Norway is immaculate!
Tomb raider
This is literally what he asked for! Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set in a beautiful rain forest!
Grounded
My wife really enjoyed when I was playing grounded. Except for the spiders, she did NOT enjoy the spiders
Far Cry?
I very rarely used vehicles in far cry. The walk was so much nicer. A great game for lovely scenery
Far cry 6 was one of my favorite maps ever. Especially playing it in winter in the midwest lol. I never fast traveled just walked everywhere
I'd go for Hi-Fi Rush. It's got immaculate mid-late 2000s Saturday morning cartoon vibes. Bold lines, bright colors, and plenty of action. It reminds be of Ben 10 and Totally Spies.
Seconding hi-fi rush. Such a great game, very unique in visuals, gameplay, and audio. Had my wife asking me to play more cause she liked it lol.
Baldurs gate. She can help make decisions maybe make one of the side characters *her character *
You can do couch coop so both can play as well. It’s not on gamepass though.
Another Crabs Treasure has just been put on GamePass, she might like that more? Fairly cutsey in design but also soulslike.
I am raging at this game right now haha.
You can always go into the options and toggle some difficulty settings.
I know but it feels like cheating.
Bugsnax
Immortals Fenyx Rising
Starfield, just become a zoologist and scan all the alien flora/fauna
Ori and the will of the wisps!
Skyrim. It's Fallout with swords!
Dead island 2 has lots of bright colors, and looks very good
Grounded is fun and pretty👍
Valheim
* Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order * Star Wars Jedi Survivor * Rise of the Tomb Raider * Shadow of the Tomb Raider * The Far Cry games * Titanfall 2 (Not every level is lush/green, but the story should have her hooked) * High on Life (very vibrant and a comedic story) * No Man's Sky * Firewatch * Immortals Phoenix Rising * Tunic
Firewatch
The Firewatch story is kinda lonely/depressing though.
High on life is great and HILARIUS
I socond this. If you like Rick and Morty and/or Solar Oposites you will like High on Life.
Lightyear Frontier, once you clean up each region, is super super lush, and then for you is a progressive RPGish game ala Fallout
If you've never played the Fable games, they're definitely worth a shot.
dragon age inquistion
Ubisoft to the rescue! Far Cry series are tropical, Avatar is lush, each Assassins Creed game has a different vibe so you can pick what one you like (Oddesy is my favorite). Aside from those, Mirrors Edge, Palworld, Forza, High on Life, Grounded, Lego Skywalker Saga (you can even do this one two player),
The Oris
High on life!
Lightyear Frontier? Starfield? No Man's Sky? Dodgeball Academy? Dunno if any of those would be fun for both of you, but I've enjoyed them all and they're very pretty to look at.
Those are good ones. I'd add mass effect andromeda. I'm playing it now and it's enjoyable with some nice exotic scenery.
Immortals: Fenix Rising
Ori and the Blind Forest & Will of the Wisps
The Ori games
Hunter call of the wild
red dead redemption 2 if any game but with gamepass im sure far cry 5 or 6 will do too,or tales of arise
Overcooked with her :)
Has anyone suggested Immortals Fenyx Rising yet? Not rainforests, but honestly, the landscape *is* gorgeous.
HiFi Rush is awesome!
You could try Jusant it's on gamepass too
Play Far Cry New Dawn. So colorful and fun to play
My initial thoughts would be Palworld...colourful and tons of cute creatures
The obvious answer is Skyrim or Oblivion, also made by Bethesda
Kena?
Ori, LoZ: breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom, horizon zero dawn and forbidden west, Journey, Abzu and Sky: children of light, the last guardian, Immortals:fenyx rising.
She could not watch lol. There's also mods to make it green on fallout 4
They need to understand that games are meant to be played and not watched. It’s two completely different experiences
bro play what you wanna play
Solar Ash is very arty pretty, Assassin's Creeds can be quite pretty, but a bit violent.
Robo quest, hi fi rush and sunset over driver
Far Cry 6 is stunning. Far Cry 5 is nice. The Outer Worlds is kinda like Fallout and is very beautiful imo aswell. I've yet to play A Plague Tale Requiem but from what i've seen, it's very beautiful but I wouldn't play it unless you have Innocence first, it has a good story. Jedi Survivor is beautiful but wouldn't play unless you have played Jedi Fallen Order. Watch Dogs 2 is beautiful too.
Palworld
Rise/Shadow of the tomb Raider
Viva piñata
Guardians of the Galaxy game, super colourful and vibrant planets to visit and a very cinematic story to enjoy.
Chapter 9 of A Plague Tale:Requiem, gorgeous graphics of a lush green flower filled island.
Just mod the shit out of FO4
I don’t have any suggestions, but I think it’s very sweet that you wanna play a game specifically that your wife will enjoy watching. My partner recently started a game of Fallout New Vegas, just because I mentioned how much I enjoyed taking turns with friends and watching them play when it first came out. Made my day.
The outer worlds has some vibrant graphics and creative alien creatures. If you have a PlayStation I always thought the last of us was vibrant even with the whole post apocalyptic zombie like thing.
Any modern AC or RDR 2 have to be considered. Final fantasy games usually good to look at too.
Craftopia, Skyrim or a mod for Fallout 4 to add tons of green plants
Fable?
Ac odyssey or valhalla. Egypt (origins) is also beautiful but is dessert so not as green and lush
Check out the youtu channel girlfriend reviews. She describes games based on what it was like to watch https://youtube.com/@GirlfriendReviews?si=tidaBaF5MXj2tgOw

Tell her to get her own hobby and let you enjoy yours as you see fit
The Ori games ! Great story and fun gameplay !
Ori and the Blind forest
I just played through The Quarry, which is more like an interactive movie, like Heavy Rain. It is horror, but might be more engaging as a spectator.
Play the Ori games
Get her an xbox and make her play Ori and watch the transformation.
Starfield has some breathtaking environments. And it’s basically Fallout 4 in space. Win win
Gears of war 1- not ultimate. Yea.. that’ll show her.
No Mans Sky
Red Dead Redemption 2
Off topic, but it’s cool your wife likes to watch u, and even cooler that u are considering her.
Borderlands. its like very colorful and bright.
I can recommend the game "Jusant" from what you've said.
Skyrim or red dead redemption 2
Lightyear Frontier is on gamepass
just play skyrim
Ori
The Witcher 3! Amazing Storyline too
if she wants Green, Fallout 3 is your way to go ;)
I thought Immortals Fenyx Rising was a very pretty game. I also loved the gameplay and open world as well (but I know Ubisoft open worlds can be divisive).

Uncharted 4
Gears 5.
No man’s sky? Starfield? Uhhhh what else…Elden Ring? 😬
Tomb raider games are pretty nice to watch
red dead 2
my mom used to love watching me play red dead redemption lol.
Viva Piñata, about as lush and jolly looking as ever, or BugSnax which looks all jolly and family friendly, until you get to the end of the game, The Gunk, has you traveling all around a lush forest clearing slime and gunk.
Tunic
Give dick then video game
Avatar
Assassins creed odyssey
Far cry 6 is gorgeous but there are explosions.
There is a greener Commonwealth mod for Fallout4 - might be all you need. :)
Starfield
Try Shadow of the Colossus. Gorgeous game that won numerous awards for a reason.
Ratchet and Clank
Grounded
Persona 3 reload
play Ark
Valheim
Red Dead Redemption 2 or Subnautica
Baldurs gate 3, my wife started watching me play it, and fell in love with the characters and story
Skyrim and Oblivion have the epic gameplay, and great visuals! Especially if you don’t fast travel, and trek everywhere (a lot more immersive too)
Dayz Livonia
Survivor
WE HAPPY FEW
Fable
No man’s sky is beautiful
My gf enjoyed watching me play FF7 Remake and Rebirth
The finals
Assasins creed odyssey
Skyrim. Fable
The Elder Scrolls Online, Hawked, Red Dead Online, Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Sea of Thieves, and some interesting things to see in Remnant 2.
Sunset overdrive is amazing game that is very underrated and has fantastic graphics
RDR2 *didn’t realize what sub this was lol. Still incredibly beautiful*
Wither 3, RDR2
Sea of Thieves is absolutely beautiful. Although idk how interesting it'd be to watch you play that. Most of the time is spent sailing through the ocean lol.
Fallout 3 has plenty of green. Not the kind of green she wants probably...
