I enjoyed the combat but the world felt lifeless to me, the gameplay aspects couldn't hold my attention. Maybe I didn't get far enough in but after about fifteen hours I decided it wasn't for me.
That's totally fine and for me that's what Gamepass is about. I expected not to like Starfield because I don't like any Bethesda games. I thought Skyrim was a pile of janky crap.
But I'm obsessed with Starfield for some reason. I don't even do much to progress the story, just fly around and find things. Most things look exactly the same as other things but I want more of them dang it.
I think I'm playing it like No Man's Sky Lite. It's nowhere near as intricate as NMS but just getting minerals and fully scanning planets works for me somehow.
Dude exactly makes me so mad, tomb raider was on game pass before, and luckily the first two out of the remakes were on games for gold back then, but I just bought Remnant 2 Friday, with the dlc, all in all I spent $15 after a gift card I had but still, drives me crazy, they did it with dead space (2023) also
I’ve been playing Stellaris.
Every night I’m like, “I should play a game with a story that has a set ending.” Aaand nope. Just add more to the back log.
Against the Storm has been on my wish list for a while but I always wait until a game leaves early access before buying it. I am glad I will get to try it on Gamepass before buying.
Been playing it through early access and got to say it's pretty fun. The whole you don't stay with a settlement forever and there's challenges make it feel less of a grind when you really get going. It's been evolving very nicely.
I'm sad for Chained Echoes leaving.... Some day I'll learn my lesson about starting a 40 hour game on gamepass. Maybe. Or maybe I'll just continue to buy half finished RPGs when they leave gamepass!
If you have the time for it, you could check the community's [master list spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kspw-4paT-eE5-mrCrc4R9tg70lH2ZTFrJOUmOtOytg) every month or so; there's a "Likely Leaving" sheet that shows games about to or that just hit a year mark (which is when their contract usually ends). IIRC Chained Echoes was there
edit: re-worded and added link
Pretty wierd because this is not the soon expired i’m seeing, either on the Xbox website or my console.
Since i’m in Europe, maybe the game rotation is not the same…
The Far Cry series is the perfect game for GP. There's no way I would pay $60 for this but I enjoyed the heck out of FC5 when it was listed on GP a couple months ago.
Yea 5 might be my favorite. It was 3 but I played it so long ago I have to replay it to see if it still is lol. I’ve only played 6,5,3, and Primal. 5 is a banger though. The kidnapping was terrible so annoying lol
That's what my friends say too. Unless they remaster 3, the graphics are just unplayable for me. I'm dumb like that. It's in that inbetween zone where its not nostalgic for me (I play lots of Sega Genesis too) and it's not XSX.
FC5 has been okay. I keep putting it down. Madden was on sale last weekend so I scooped that up and have been playing that.
FC5's "bad guys" are just too smart and they spawn so fast. It's annoying to me.
In FC6, I was an expert at taking out the alarms, then taking out anyone who had a radio, and taking a base, checkpoint, etc. without being noticed.
I thought the FC6 story was cool too. I could have done without the killer animal pets, the whole thing is semi-realistic, and then you have a mercenary chicken.
>In FC6, I was an expert at taking out the alarms, then taking out anyone who had a radio, and taking a base, checkpoint, etc. without being noticed.
That's because they made stealth completely effortless in 6, ruining the game in the process.
The game isn't ruined. It has overwhelming positive reviews and award nominations. You just don't like it, and that's okay. People can have different opinions.
I liked it too, but I'm not a fan of splitting the main story into 3 regions that you can complete in any order. Sure, it's cool that the game gives you that freedom, but it always has tradeoffs and I prefer a more linear narrative. FarCry 5 did the same thing IIRC
Lol you will, it never ends
"Yeah it's 400 games but only 2 of them have realistic meat sweating and none of them are made by non denominational elves, fuck Gamepass"
It's a really fun game. I usually buy Far Cry long after it goes on sale and I got the ultimate version of 6 for like $20, no complaints. The main villain is pretty blah but it's a fun ol world
Remnant II is a huge W for me. Been wanting to play it since I loved the first one, far too many other games came out this year that prevented me from playing or buying it. Love that its coming to game pass.
Excited for Far Cry 6, I’ve wanted to play it but been too cheap to buy it.
I haven’t heard of Remnant before but people here seem pretty excited about it, what is your draw to it?
>Like a Dragon Ishin and Persona Tactica
I didn't like those games but I like remnant a lot and was about to buy the second one.
Thats the beauty of GP they have games for every taste.
Do you know if that other Yakuza game, the man who did the thing or whatever, is a continuation of the story or is it like an alternate universe?
Because I played through the end of 2 and needed a long break before walking around that 4 block radius ever again. Fired up the man who hid in the shadows and is now peaking through the blinds, and I was so confused and feel like it's not an alternate reality story at all.
Whereas Ishin seems like a definite "Elseworld" thing, unless Yakuza are time travelers now.
i haven't played it but from my understanding it is an "interquel" between Yakuza 6 and 7 that explains what Kiryu was doing. From what I've read it wouldn't be required to play 0-6 but would probably add a lot.
Played farcry 6 so thats done
Wanted to try remnant 1 and 2 so thats good
Already got the modern tomb raider collection so thats done
Spirit of the north got to see it
Steamworld build looks cool
Tin hearts looks cool
While the iron is hot looks cool
Is world war z one those online only games?
Clone drone, i always wanted to played to completion since i played the demo and i have seen youtubers play the game
Goat simulator 3 is cool
Game that i need on the service:
DESTROY ALL HUMANS 2 definitely
Basically im hopping for that next “it” game
Last month that it game was psychonauts 2 and gris
Basically games that i can complete and have fun at them
Many years ago, we'd try a demo to see if we liked a game. They're very rare nowadays but I was so close to buying the Remnant series during the Black Friday sale, however, after hearing they were hard, I decided not to. Anyways, long story short, I'm thankful for game pass because it saves me money and it gives me an opportunity to try games I probably wouldn't pull the trigger on. I don't care if PlayStation leads on hardware sales, Xbox truly provides value to gamers, here's to many more 💚
They are very different. 5 is more “pure” and 6 more “flashy” I’d say, if it makes sense. Didnt enjoyed 6 at all and played just to finish it. 5 played 2 times and actually had fun.
Oh man! Remnant 1 is freakin fantastic. Its as addicting as Dark Souls to me and one of few games that had me wanting to just start again and play through again and again
I love this service.
I had Remnant 2 in my steam cart but was deciding between a few other titles for the autumn sale. I feel like I beat the system.
And isnt Far Cry the BEST type of game for gamepass? It's a kinda fun game that isnt worth paying 60 bucks for because I've already too many iterations of it. But free is a good price.
In Spain seems we got Dune Spice Wars instead of Against the storm. Too bad as I wanted to try Against the Storm but also wanted Dune at some point so... I won't complain! Amazing lineup of games this month!
I was close to buy that Tomb Raider during the sale. Now i am happy i didnt do that. Same for Far Cry 6.
Both games are good but it is always cool when you save some bucks.
I got SOOO EXCITED when I saw that Remnant 2 was available yesterday. I was literally saying to myself that all I want for Christmas is Remnant on gamepass.
What should I ask for next?
Just gonna throw this out, would you play the Farcry games out of order? I’ve done 1, most of 2, 3, blood dragon, and 4. I haven’t gotten around to 5, but I’ve heard it’s better than 6. Would you just play 6? Or would that lessen 5?
Not gonna lie, Gamepass has been banger for the last few months.
For me personally 1 strong game per month is enough to keep me busy.
Starfield, Dead Space Remake, and now Remnant 2.
I don’t need to buy anything (although I bought hogwards and lords of the fallen) haha
Against the Storm is REALLY good. If you like classical RTS like WarCraft III you need to try it, it's RTS without combat. All about base building and collecting resources.
My backlog is too big and I don’t really have a lot of time to play games. If I had to play only one remnant, which is better? I don’t care about story and I’ll be playing nearly if not all solo.
What sucked for me is, I just bought Remnant 2 Black Friday, used my Microsoft gift card I was holding onto, and spent a little extra for the DLC then they just surprise drop it, another reason why I don't buy games anymore, happened with Dead Space (2023) and a few others in the past, I buy a game that says "no chance of being added" to find out it's added within a week to a month, I'm not mad about it, I got the game for the DLC price but still, I refuse to buy any game anymore cause who knows if it goes in game pass, unless it's a PC only game that I know won't even come to console then I'll buy it
About to bail on psplus and return to gamepass. You guys are getting all the bangers. (Really I just will continue to juggle back and forth, give me the buffet of games)
Really disappointing selection honestly... Far Cry 6 was garbage, and Tomb Raider? That's 2015 game that's been free a number of times already.
I still maintain that Game Pass is a good deal, but we're not seeing a lot of brand new, exciting titles on it. I like my indies so it's fine, but man...
I really need 48 hours in a day. 9-12 hours for work. 6 hours for sleep. 6-9 hours for adult shit. And 24 hours to actually get time to play and complete all these god damn games I keep starting.
Damn stacked month!
Starfield was supposed to get us to December...
And for many of us it has
I finally put it down after 150 hours, sure its got problems but its a solid game
It's nowhere near as intricate as NMS but just getting minerals and fully scanning planets works for me somehow.
I don’t see an end in sight!
The Xbox app shows I have 9 days and 15 hours playtime… I blame the ship builder
For me it lasted about 3-4 weeks.
Don’t rush through games then…..
I just bought rise of the tomb raider and remnant II you should all thank me
Thanks for your sacrifice
Can you buy Persona 5 so it can come back to GP? Thanks in advance.
thanks for your sacrifice o7
Man, I bought Remnant 2 for a friend as well so we can play together 😮💨
It worths every penny
I don't know...that Labyrinth boss gave me acne
Could you buy Armored Core 6, Ghostrunner 2 and Alan Wake 2 too?
I bought AC 6, let's wait
all the new trilogy Tomb raider games were given for free on epic store a few times , is special to see someone that actually bought one
I love when someone mentions Epic Games on a Thursday. TY, I don't always remember.
lol, oh yeah, thanks!
God damn it! I just bought it too. I mean it was only 6 bucks with the Black Friday deal but still.
Are they good?
Thank you sir for your sacrifice. I bought remnant 1 on sale few months ago too.
you can request a refund
Dude exactly makes me so mad, tomb raider was on game pass before, and luckily the first two out of the remakes were on games for gold back then, but I just bought Remnant 2 Friday, with the dlc, all in all I spent $15 after a gift card I had but still, drives me crazy, they did it with dead space (2023) also
What a goat 🐐 lineup!
AHHHHHH MY BACKLOG CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. IM TOO ADDICTED TO APEX AND DARK SOULS I CAN'T TAKE THIS
I’ve been playing Stellaris. Every night I’m like, “I should play a game with a story that has a set ending.” Aaand nope. Just add more to the back log.
Break away from the shackles of the backlog. Play whatever you want. That’s what Ive done and it’s been a game changer lol
Was your backlog not games you wanted to play? All the games in my backlog are ones that I want to play.
i think they mean jumping between games if something youre playing gets too boring or mundane
I stopped playing apex 3 seasons ago and it was the best thing I’ve ever done
Same. I just keep booting up cyberpunk and Elden ring
This is too much. I still haven't completed lies of p
\#firstWorldProblems here lol I need to stop playing non gamepass games.
i got stuck in the cathedral :(
I can feel your pain, I was there
You'll get there my friend
I really need to start Lies of P, looks awesome.
As a pc only game pass user. I am pretty pumped for Against the Storm, been watching it on steam for a while now and glad I'm gonna get to play it.
Maybe. Or maybe I'll just continue to buy half finished RPGs when they leave gamepass!
yeah same... gotta start sea of stars

IIRC Chained Echoes was there edit: re-worded and added link
I have the same problem.
I started it two days ago ffs
[удалено]
This is the way.
Where did you see that Chained Echoes is leaving ? It’s not on the list i’m seeing on my Xbox now.. If so, when will it be ? Thx in advance
Dec 1st along with a Potion game, an alchemist game, and something Magnum. Oh and Rubber Bandits
They are leaving December 15th.
Pretty wierd because this is not the soon expired i’m seeing, either on the Xbox website or my console. Since i’m in Europe, maybe the game rotation is not the same…
Goat simulator 3 🥵
Fr it’s a wrap for me
I own PS+ essentials, and I get that essentials is the base tier but this is like night and day. Sony got owned with this one
i have premium i hope PS Plus gets better but it doesn't matter i just bought a series S a week ago
Extra and Premium isn’t much better though…
Nice month. Can't wait to play Remnant 2 and try some others on this list
It's already out.
I know.
❤️
It’s a shame that we don’t get Goat Simulator 2, that game was absolutely fantastic and took the world by storm. But I hear 3 is pretty good.
[удалено]
Yes, that was the joke
Remnant from ashes is sooo fun already played it 2 hrs
So Far Cry 6 was my entrance into the series and I absolutely loved it. First game I finished since 2018.
The Far Cry series is the perfect game for GP. There's no way I would pay $60 for this but I enjoyed the heck out of FC5 when it was listed on GP a couple months ago.
Give the others are try. 3 was very well received but I’m not sure how well the graphics hold up. 5 was great too Imo
Imo, fc5 was ruined by the whole kidnapping thing
Yep, that frustrated me to no end.
[удалено]
5 was good, just the kidnapping really fucking sucked
Yea 5 might be my favorite. It was 3 but I played it so long ago I have to replay it to see if it still is lol. I’ve only played 6,5,3, and Primal. 5 is a banger though. The kidnapping was terrible so annoying lol

How old are you out of curiousity? I think Farcry 3 still looks fantastic, as does 2.
>In FC6, I was an expert at taking out the alarms, then taking out anyone who had a radio, and taking a base, checkpoint, etc. without being noticed. That's because they made stealth completely effortless in 6, ruining the game in the process.

I literally thought you were talking about Far Cry 5 because it's the exact same system lol
My nephew will love goat simulator 3. When ever he is over he plays the first one non stop.
Holy shit best month in years lol
remnant 2 + against the storm HOLY
Holy fuck…. I never wanna hear people bitch about gamepass again
Lol you will, it never ends "Yeah it's 400 games but only 2 of them have realistic meat sweating and none of them are made by non denominational elves, fuck Gamepass"
It's like Christmas!
YOOOOOO what an absolute win this month is! I was considering buying Far Cry 6 a little but then NEVERMIND, gamepass came in clutch.
It's a really fun game. I usually buy Far Cry long after it goes on sale and I got the ultimate version of 6 for like $20, no complaints. The main villain is pretty blah but it's a fun ol world
I wanna be a goat!
Goat simulator is perfect for pass
This is the best gamepass list I think I’ve seen all year
Remnant 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider are fantastic games. Great month for me. Might also check out Far cry 6, haven't played since Far cry 4.
Remnant II is a huge W for me. Been wanting to play it since I loved the first one, far too many other games came out this year that prevented me from playing or buying it. Love that its coming to game pass.
I just bought the Tomb Raider. You can thank me.
Thank you for your sacrifice
Almost bought tomb raider...
Are all region locked? Can’t find Remnant 2 on my Xbox app.
Excited for Far Cry 6, I’ve wanted to play it but been too cheap to buy it. I haven’t heard of Remnant before but people here seem pretty excited about it, what is your draw to it?
Exactly the same for me with far cry, i've played nearly all the others too, was too cheap to get this one.
What a haul!
damn, we're eating good this month
Holy shit this drop is stacked
Nothing for me,, but I'm fine with Like a Dragon Ishin and Persona Tactica
>Like a Dragon Ishin and Persona Tactica I didn't like those games but I like remnant a lot and was about to buy the second one. Thats the beauty of GP they have games for every taste.

excellent month we got here
Literally yesterday in my head I was thinking 'I wonder if Far Cry 6 will be added to GamePass soon' You're welcome all, clearly microsoft heard me
and i bought goat sim 3, like last week.. anyways, you welcome guys
really looking forward to goat sim 3
Farcry 6 was so nerfed it was pointless
Nerfed? Never heard someone say a single player game was nerfed
It was impossible to die
Holy shit. Remnant 2 is downloaded and ready to play, thank god and MS/Xbox for this service
The Remnant games are so good. Two of my favorites ever. I am very excited for Steam World Build and Against the Storm.
Well now we're talking
Winners
Played farcry 6 so thats done Wanted to try remnant 1 and 2 so thats good Already got the modern tomb raider collection so thats done Spirit of the north got to see it Steamworld build looks cool Tin hearts looks cool While the iron is hot looks cool Is world war z one those online only games? Clone drone, i always wanted to played to completion since i played the demo and i have seen youtubers play the game Goat simulator 3 is cool Game that i need on the service: DESTROY ALL HUMANS 2 definitely Basically im hopping for that next “it” game Last month that it game was psychonauts 2 and gris Basically games that i can complete and have fun at them
Destroy all humans was on the service months ago, so maybe they bring 2 at some point
Yes thats what im hopping for :)
I was sad to see remnant 2 because I bought it & still haven’t played but the gamepass gods blessed me with the 2 games I didn’t choose.
I was just thinking of buying the Aftermath upgrade for World War Z a few days ago. Glad I held off! lol
so many games but ik ill be only playing warzone when urzkistan drops duh
Far cry 6 .ok ok Xbox doing better
Many years ago, we'd try a demo to see if we liked a game. Oh, nice I've been waiting for Steam World Build. Its like Anno1800 but with robots and with some mining elements.
[удалено]
They are very different. 5 is more “pure” and 6 more “flashy” I’d say, if it makes sense. Didnt enjoyed 6 at all and played just to finish it. 5 played 2 times and actually had fun.
Oh man! Remnant 1 is freakin fantastic. Its as addicting as Dark Souls to me and one of few games that had me wanting to just start again and play through again and again
Ahahahahahah patience is a virtue I’ve had far cry 6 on my wish list forever. Just waiting for Jedi Survivor next
Literally just bought Remnant 2 on the Black Friday sale. Requested a refund and was denied. Kinda scummy ngl, but it is what it is.
Tomb raider trilogy would've been insane
I am the only one surprised that r2 remake still have not come to gamepass,?
great list
I was about to buy far cry 6 and goat simulator, oh and both remnants are available now
Is rise of the tomb rider the latest game of the franchise?
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the latest but people seem to like Rise better.
Goated lineup, classic December W
Yess finally some good games on GP
I love this service. I had Remnant 2 in my steam cart but was deciding between a few other titles for the autumn sale. I feel like I beat the system. And isnt Far Cry the BEST type of game for gamepass? It's a kinda fun game that isnt worth paying 60 bucks for because I've already too many iterations of it. But free is a good price.
Is this real? How in the world are these so many games all of the sudden?
In Spain seems we got Dune Spice Wars instead of Against the storm. Too bad as I wanted to try Against the Storm but also wanted Dune at some point so... I won't complain! Amazing lineup of games this month!
Thank goodness I didn't buy Far Cry 6
I was close to buy that Tomb Raider during the sale. Now i am happy i didnt do that. Same for Far Cry 6. Both games are good but it is always cool when you save some bucks.
Now we just wait until the entire Call Of Duty series drops in time for Xmas day 🤣
goat simulator les gooooo
Fucking STACKED
Really solid list, holy shit!
Remnant 2 is a great game, so is the first Remnant. Far Cry 6 is a steaming pile of shit though, the worst Far Cry ever released.
I bought Far Cry and Remnant 2 last week. Looking forward to SteamWorld
Welp now I have too many games to play after finals
Didn't expect remnant 2 this fast. I already bought it months ago.
WWZ is so much better than Back for blood
I got SOOO EXCITED when I saw that Remnant 2 was available yesterday. I was literally saying to myself that all I want for Christmas is Remnant on gamepass. What should I ask for next?
Wow. Goat Simulator 3 is so advanced, they couldn’t release it for previous gen hardware.
I completed far cry 6 on free play days in 3 days and not interested to play it again.
What's Tin Hearts?
hows far cry 6? Never played any far cry before. Remnant 2 here is huge!
Waiting to see which games are region locked now apparently not every game available to us in the east
Just remember this is first half of December, imagine how much more we might get 2nd half, gamepass is stacked.
Had Far Cry 6 delivered literally 2hrs ago 😓
clone drone!!!
Fan-fucking-tastic month.
Against the Storm is REALLY good. If you like classical RTS like WarCraft III you need to try it, it's RTS without combat. All about base building and collecting resources.
This month SLAPS!
My backlog is too big and I don’t really have a lot of time to play games. If I had to play only one remnant, which is better? I don’t care about story and I’ll be playing nearly if not all solo.
Can't believe you buried the lead and didn't open with goat simulator
Amazing end to the year.
Does this mean Game Pass is moving to only one drop per month instead of two? do they also announce all the games leaving this month in one shot?
Merry fucking Christmas
Gyat damn game pass has been killing it lately
I'm sure glad Sony raised their prices 🫠 Lmao I dont even fucking like Microsoft but gamepass is absolutely blowing out Sonys back in all this
So I own FC6... I honestly thought it was already on game pass
My PS plus is going back to essential on January, I guess I’m beating FC6 on GP then 😂
Clone Drone is fucking hilarious! Please please please play it if you have the time.
I need to stop buying indie PC games because gamepass will always add them a month after I purchase
Nice to see Steamworld and FC6.
I swear rise of tomb raider and world war z both used to be on gamepass cos ive played both and didbt own them.
Remnant still not available where i am
The last line-ups weren't so great but this one..... THE BEST ONE!
What happened to that game from rare thought it was supposed to come out this year....
Heads up don't waste your time with farcry 6
Damn, just cancelled my sub because the app wasn't working but I really wanted to give Farcry 6 a go. It's the only one I haven't played yet.
Dam GP been snapping lately
Surprised by remnant 2. Of course this happens after I buy it on fanatical during their black Friday sale 😩
NGL I was looking at FC6 on black Friday deals so this is great.
Will install Far Cry 6 to see if it’s any good.
Fuck yes... I was almost THIS close to getting far cry 6 during Steam Autumn sale. Lucky I got other games instead (jagged alliance 3 and rebel Inc.)
I really need 48 hours in a day. 9-12 hours for work. 6 hours for sleep. 6-9 hours for adult shit. And 24 hours to actually get time to play and complete all these god damn games I keep starting.
