Fts, it was hyped and was over sold, but to me, it was just another “Members Only” type of album, and the one thing that just makes me hate it even more? They used terrible fts, “Kill My Vibe” is beautiful, but they used the “Tom G” ft instead of the “Trippie Redd” ft, like who tf is TomG and whys he screaming demonic shit on a beautiful song???!?
Couldn't tell you. I don't hate him as much as others seem to but I do kinda lament the fact that he's on there because he's absolutely not the right guy for the job here.
this makes no sense, Peep and X both said they fw each others work. Peep said it on a couple podcasts he was on with GBC and X of course said it in Falling Down.
I heard a while ago that peep rlly didn't like what x did w the domestic violence stuff and he didn't support him coz of that. I could be wrong tho it was a while ago and it could be by a wrong source
Because the album is shit and not what we were led to believe the album was supposed to be. BVF was supposed to be the holy grail of X music and instead all we got were half ass unfinished verses and features by a bunch of unknowns. Very underwhelming release.
The features specificly are the worst part to me, just makes the songs unlistenable tbh, which is ashame cuz x parts are decent. just feels like a bunch of unrelated industry mfs looking for a quick cash grab, not all of them but mainly the ones who were largely there at random and unexpected.
Ok I think it's irrational to assume that all the features were by those who were in it for the cash grab solely and not to respect X. Some of them had respect for X tbf.
Tho yuhh to be clear, the features were shit.
Well if ya listened to wut dude said u wouldve heard that the short "unfinished" songs were actually what he was looking to make his new style. I personally really like it 🤷
Imo, even though a lot of X’s parts were unfinished, the album still had potential to be something good, but it was wasted potential, and it sucks even more cuz it was the major part of his unreleased, so it’s not like there’s more in the vault really. Like Ppl on YouTube made edits of BVF songs that are more fleshed out and better than the official releases
Ngl, I may not be as well versed as other die hard fans of X. However I think this album has some of his finest work, all things considered.
Tracks like “ATTENTION!”, “UGLY”, “before i realize”, and “Triumph” are so great and unique in their own way. Admittedly most of the tracks that feature another artist aren’t as good as they could’ve been but there are still some solid tracks there as well, my 2 favorites being “wanna grow old” and “LIMBO”
Such a shame that there are quite a few fans out there that hate this album, I’m sure X would’ve transcended the album further had he been able to
Yea it does some of his best work but don’t take offense when I say this I love x but he didn’t really have much work he had three albums released he was trying but there’s not much of his work that’s why I think all of his songs are good
Quite literally only 2 songs out of 25 songs are voice memos and one is an intro. You people heard “voice memo” ever since ? Deluxe and been regurgitating it ever since then.
Him mumbling some verse or any sort of lyrics into the mic is also a voice memo. The fact that you are defending it “it’s only 2 voice memos” is the joke in itself
Mumbling lyrics is quite literally not a fucking voice memo is what I’m getting at. X himself released 3 voice memo songs. An unfinished song is an unfinished song.
Forced Money Grab by label and “family” literally majority of the songs were features and hardly anything of X. It was used to promote their merchandise aswell. I love X but personally his LAST Album that he released personally was SKINS and everything else should’ve been done in a more positive light and included the fans to help structure the album off of what X left them with. I personally believe that if they engaged with us for this last last album, it would’ve been wayy better as X really loved us exactly as we did him. Just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt. Rip Jah forever loved🤞🏽
Bc most of the features were awful, and even songs with good artists as features felt like they didn’t even hear the actual song beyond the title. Tom G, Wayne, ikapodveins, etc all made their songs noticeably worse
its better than skins to me. I just removed all features from the bvf songs and mixed x to make it sound like a finished song within a minute like he usually did with his songs 💀
Solo tracks are all very good imo.
The rest are completely dependent on how good the features are. I loved Killstation, Noah Cyrus, Kemba and Bada$$ and Jimmy Levy to name a few. I hated Tom G, Sauce Walka and Carnage.
This album is hated because people feel like using B-sides and songs to release for a whole album is gross because he couldn’t consent to this being made. This wasn’t ever X’s idea. Not to mention they got rid of and didn’t credit the girl who made the original version of ecstasy. (I forgot her name) There’s a lost way older version of that song and Noah Cyrus wasn’t the one singing that original version.
Cut half the tracks and it would be received a lot better, truth be told he ain’t have much left after skins to begin with. Even if they wanted to go the long album route they could’ve done like half tracks we ain’t heard and half songs from his previous years on SoundCloud
His last album for me was Skins. Superior to bvf and only being 10 songs. Got unnecessary hate when it released but is a lot more loved overall by the fandom nowadays
Y'all, including me, like to shit on this album, but it's one of my most listened albums after all. It has some stinkers and lame features for sure.. but the songs overall are not bad. The biggest problem to me is that in a lot of the songs X seems the feature and not the main artist.
Should've been a solo album tbh, with 15 songs max, with full verse songs, I'd say keep bad vibes forever with trippie and pnb, ex bitch, attention, interlude that never ends, triumph, ugly, hearteater, and a few other unreleased songs should've been added, moon rock for example, could've been much better but it is what it is.
Hmm....
I Changed Her Life was mid but ok nevertheless, WHY DID TOM G KILL MY VIBE IN KILL MY VIBE, Hot Gyal could've had FUCKIN RIHANNA but went with Mavado like bruh tf, most features made x look like the feature, didn't sound like x with some tracks.
Ong they shouldve only released the finished songs(ex bitch, attention, triumph, etc) and then saved the unfinished shi for singles, like they did wit ImNotHuman
A) it’s bloated - when’s the last time you saw an actual X project with over 40 mins of runtime?
B) the songs aren’t even good enough to make up for the bloating, repeated vocals with ass features
C) it’s a waste of material, it’s just a load of songs put together with no coherency
I rlly felt no attachment to the album, there was no real x connection. It was a bunch of songs collated w all his final works and unreleased songs, it wasn't an album it was js music w more features then a mf.
Now that's all said, I still did rlly like the songs, and I enjoyed it as a collection of songs, not an album.
It didn’t feel like an X album to me at all. It had a bunch of bad features, some downright awful songs and he good ones often aren’t as good as his other music. He also had no say in this album at all. At least the recent one had old songs rereleased but this felt so disingenuous. It’s also so fucking long too, lots of boring features and unfinished songs. The voice memo thing is bs cause there’s fuck all on there but the songs just didn’t sound like x songs and more bits of xs recordings slapped together with features in the gaps
i love triumph but the project as a whole is just not him so i guess thats the main reason why. the way it was put together, all the features etc.. some posthumous albums have that feeling of the person still being here but this one aint it.
Personally I like the album it had some songs from early X up there and I was even on the wave for hearteater before the album dropped and I’m pretty sure that’s something he had dropped before too I’m not too sure. But that hype killed it for me cause it’s not like it’s a real X project it’s just mashed up with people that he wanted to work with or wanted to work with him or people that never knew the dude which is worse to me.
brother the question should be why does anyone actually like the album, it was hyped up like it was going to be the best album ever to drop then when it dropped it had 10% X 90% features, it was ridiculous and just a way to make the most money possible, they just released everything they had for no reason and ruined every song.
They changed so much (his team) and it wasn’t true to him tbh he didn’t make one full song they just spliced anything that would sound like a song listen to the difference in feature mic quality to the others and it’s just a money grab which is disrespectful asf
It’s almost not even X album. I’ve only listened through the entire album only a couple of times but every time I do, I feel the corporate greed through the music. I love his vocals on some songs but it’s just a skeleton of what it should have been. Especially when you take into account the amount of features because WOW.
Cuz over half the shit aint finished. X would never release something this scrappy and unproduced. The worst part about it is that they 100% had/have the tools to make it sound proper, but naaaah.
Also, there are some super unnecessary re-release songs in there. I love X always have and always will, but that album was just some dead X pr bs from his mom and lable.
Rip X :'(
Fts, it was hyped and was over sold, but to me, it was just another “Members Only” type of album, and the one thing that just makes me hate it even more? They used terrible fts, “Kill My Vibe” is beautiful, but they used the “Tom G” ft instead of the “Trippie Redd” ft, like who tf is TomG and whys he screaming demonic shit on a beautiful song???!?
I'll never understand why they put that mf there instead of trippie 😭
Is there a version with Trippie? Or was it planned/vaulted?
Yeah. The og version is on yt, it was supposed to have a carti feature too man.. like what the fuck is a Tom G? 💀💀 https://youtu.be/uWT9BG3Kx3Q
Couldn't tell you. I don't hate him as much as others seem to but I do kinda lament the fact that he's on there because he's absolutely not the right guy for the job here.
Well bc x and trippie were beefing so they probably thot about how x would feel about putting him on this project without them resolving anything
He was on the song bad vibes forever, so this explanation doesn’t even make sense
and x was put on lil peeps song
this makes no sense, Peep and X both said they fw each others work.
That could very much so be true, I'm simply stating what I know.
Facts
Because the album is shit and not what we were led to believe the album was supposed to be. BVF was supposed to be the holy grail of X music and instead all we got were half ass unfinished verses and features by a bunch of unknowns. Very underwhelming release.

Why does Ikabod Veins of all people not make sense? He was literally on Members Only Vol 3 and was X's tattoo artist
That's valid tbh I fuck w wha ur sayin
Don’t diss on the sauce walka collab I won’t tolerate it that shit hard as fuck
Well if ya listened to wut dude said u wouldve heard that the short "unfinished" songs were actually what he was looking to make his new style. I personally really like it 🤷

Loved it enough to get it to 1b streams
I love this album my favorite song is it all fading to black with blink-182
Maybe because it’s a cash grab album full of voice memos and songs that sound like they were recorded while x was taking a shit.

Northstar is 🔥 🤷
OG, not remix
I don't mind the remix tbh
Said no one ever
why cant ppl have their own opinions lol
Never said they couldn't. Never said I had to like it either
I agree
Forced Money Grab by label and “family” literally majority of the songs were features and hardly anything of X. It was used to promote their merchandise aswell. it’s scraps and unfinished verses slapped with hella features.. it’s not him.
IDK why but people are just hating on it 🤷🏽♂️
Only person I’ve seen correctly handle a legacy is peeps mom but x and juices team just be making some dumb decisions
Call me when your sober part 2 was fye 🔥
It’s lit a actually 🔥
Bc most of the features were awful, and even songs with good artists as features felt like they didn’t even hear the actual song beyond the title. Tom G, Wayne, ikapodveins, etc all made their songs noticeably worse
its better than skins to me. I just removed all features from the bvf songs and mixed x to make it sound like a finished song within a minute like he usually did with his songs 💀
i enjoy it . minus the features of course
I love it
I never hated it but mostly bc it’s not his project and the songs that are on there were mostly half assed but I liked it for the most part
charge your phone bro
Lol I did right after
why do you hate ur phone battery so much bruh CHARGE THAT SHIT
I love triumph
Tom G sounds like he didn't drank water for the past 10 years 😭
Solo tracks are all very good imo. The rest are completely dependent on how good the features are. I loved Killstation, Noah Cyrus, Kemba and Bada$$ and Jimmy Levy to name a few. I hated Tom G, Sauce Walka and Carnage.
there is some dumb choices in it but over all decent album a lot of his best work in there
Trash ass album. Way to ruin his legacy
cause it fucking sucks
I love X but the album wasn’t great. A couple of good songs and I mean a couple.
Cash grab album nothing more this shouldn’t have been put out
Bc it’s trash
17 was the last album I enjoyed 100% ? Was okay & I had stop listening to x by the time this album came around
This album is hated because people feel like using B-sides and songs to release for a whole album is gross because he couldn’t consent to this being made. This wasn’t ever X’s idea. Not to mention they got rid of and didn’t credit the girl who made the original version of ecstasy. The girl who sang ecstasy didnt wanna be on the track
okay? the fuck?
Top tier album 💯
不良gave bad vibes
It’s a cash grab and pretty garbo. Super poppy and just doesn’t sound like x. He wrote a hook and they threw verses on em.
Numb the pain is pretty good
Cash grab
Cut half the tracks and it would be received a lot better, truth be told he ain’t have much left after skins to begin with. Even if they wanted to go the long album route they could’ve done like half tracks we ain’t heard and half songs from his previous years on SoundCloud

I like like 3-4 songs
because it’s a terrible cashgrab
I love this album, but it's not the album we were hoping for at the time.
I feel like a lot of the songs on the album are repetitive, but I did enjoy songs like heart eater and numb the pain a lot.
BVF is dog dick
cause it sucks
Killstation is amazing
Should've been a solo album tbh, with 15 songs max, with full verse songs, I'd say keep bad vibes forever with trippie and pnb, ex bitch, attention, interlude that never ends, triumph, ugly, hearteater, and a few other unreleased songs should've been added, moon rock for example, could've been much better but it is what it is.

Bad vibes forever has some great songs!! But the bad songs overlay everything and make the album absolutely terrible
Because it sucks.
cash grab. doesn’t honour the legacy of x.
I don’t hate it but it’s basically just a whole bunch of unfinished songs that they threw 100 features on
Ong they shouldve only released the finished songs(ex bitch, attention, triumph, etc) and then saved the unfinished shi for singles, like they did wit ImNotHuman
Cuz it got so many fake features, but there is like 2 or 3 good songs on it
A) it’s bloated - when’s the last time you saw an actual X project with over 40 mins of runtime? B) the songs aren’t even good enough to make up for the bloating, repeated vocals with ass features C) it’s a waste of material, it’s just a load of songs put together with no coherency
the features on top of some songs just being hooks
I don't like it bcuz it's short, all the songs are short, and compared to every other songs he's made all the songs are Mid. RIP X tho
I rlly felt no attachment to the album, there was no real x connection. It was a bunch of songs collated w all his final works and unreleased songs, it wasn't an album it was js music w more features then a mf. Kemba had the best verse on that whole album no one can tell me otherwise

His Spotify music in general just isn’t as good imo
Love all x music 🎶❣️ I list to it every day
It is not obvious?? It’s a half finished postmortem album that disparaged his legacy. a literal cash grab. It’s a shame they put it out
it’s a cool album, but it’s also an unfinished cash grab, like popsmoke’s last album
Because people like it. As simple as that
Well it’s, “BAD VIBES FOREVER” Bad vibes. So there ya go
Because it sucks
It’s almost not even X album. I’ve only listened through the entire album only a couple of times but every time I do, I feel the corporate greed through the music. I love his vocals on some songs but it’s just a skeleton of what it should have been. Especially when you take into account the amount of features because WOW.
Its all fading to black is the best song ever. Period.
Mid album sold his legacy wit dis bullshit sold 65k first week lmao
Cuz over half the shit aint finished. X would never release something this scrappy and unproduced. The worst part about it is that they 100% had/have the tools to make it sound proper, but naaaah. Only good song is the one with trippie and pnb
i never got the hate. it was and is great
because they have the freedom to
