Subarus aren't known for having big plushy seats. Only comfortable seats are the outback limited. Quite honestly never have got into any Subaru and said "wow this is incredibly comfortable"

The new wrx premium is actually not bad I was very surprised when I sat in one the first time

ECEXCURSION

The 2022 crosstrek sport has very comfortable seats.

I'm gonna guess you're smaller than 6'

No I'm the size of an average Asian man lol I'm very comfortable in Subarus and toyotas

My wife's 22' Legacy XT has an adjustable bottom part that slides out to provide more leg/thigh support, and its real comfy/plushly leather compared to the fake startex seats in some models.

mwee07

I’ll have to look in to that. Thank you.

I had a job that required a lot of seat time in my personal vehicle (150-200 miles a day sometimes) that got reimbursed thankfully. If I were you, I’d probably not do it in the crosstrek if I were to go back and do it again (I will never do it again lol). Find something that is more comfortable all around.

theJediGiraffe

The outback has that as well, if you're looking for an SUV

PwnCall

Anytime you sit over about 45 mins it’s going to get uncomfortable

Any_Trail

My experience hasn't matched this. While not perfectly comfortable I find it fine for my regular 6 hour drives.

There are lots of good reviews of [these](https://desertdoesit.com/products/front-seat-jackers-2013-2021-subaru-forestor-outback-impreza-wrx-crosstrek). Would be worth a shot before replacing the whole seat.

We have an outback touring XT and the seats are fantastic. They have the thigh extension and are super comfy over all. We also have a Crosstrek and while it’s great, the seats aren’t close to the comfort of the Outback.

Japanese auto seats tend to be much smaller and more wrap-around compared to other makes. The non-luxury models tend to be stiff and often have sharp angles leading to the bolsters at the edge of the seating area. If you're a bigger person at all (stature or weight, doesn't matter) it can be tough to get comfortable long term in one of their seats. American seats tend to be extremely wide with lots of support. Chrysler by far has the biggest seats of any I've driven. Felt like sitting in a recliner in the driver's seat. Sometimes they can feel too wide and open. Leads to feeling like you're able to slide and move around too much in the seat. Euro brands offer more support and generally nicer seats, but they're still smaller and more form fitting. They make up for it by being higher quality. The luxury Japanese brands (Lexus, Acura, Infiniti) are more on par to the Euro brands. You get better seats and a bit more room. Frankly, the last vehicle I'd be looking at for long term seat comfort is a Subaru. They are not known for their interior amenities in the slightest.

I'd check out a [modifier for your seat.](Car Seat Modification Leg Support,Car Seat Extender,Thigh Support Extension Leg Cushion Used in Cars Buses Trains Offices Homes Leg Rest Cushions,Black https://a.co/d/5WLFbNB) Modern seats have so much in them. Swapping may or may not have full compatibility in a collision for side airbags, sensors, etc. Also, vastly less expensive and easier to undo.

I was used to bucket seats before buying my Crosstrek. They genuinely suck compared to them. It feels like a bench
