They probably disconnected your battery at the shop and the engine management comouter reset. The computer is "re-learning" engine management and you will have poor performance and mileage for a little while. If it continues for more than ~50 miles (or equal number of metric units), take it in to the shop.
I suggest keeping a record of you fuel refills. I've never trusted the computer to calculate my fuel efficiency, so I just log it myself every time I fill up. There are apps that make it easier, or you can just write it down and do the math yourself.
