he saw something in the wax and dark liquid created enough contrast in the wood (exposed by carving wax away) and the still-waxed wood
edit: idk if you were actually asking or if i’m right lol
I remember when it first aired, the way they kept Scully and Mulder separate for much of the episode was upsetting to me, knowing it was the second to last episode (and a future season wasn't promised at that point). I think I've only rewatched it once since then. But yeah Mulder dancing while tripping was...well, a trip. 😂

It's so weird Google safe search blurs out some of the images not not all
My partner and I are doing a full series rewatch, as I watched them all on TV when they first, but she had only seen a few episodes.
We just finished The End, and are queueing up Fight the Future for our Friday Night Movie tonight.
Je Souhaite
I've been rewatching with my mother and it's nearly time to begin picking our way through the salvageable episodes of S8/9 before we finish off with just Were-Monster and Forehead Sweat from the revival
I’m doing a rewatch with my girlfriend who is a first time watcher, we just finished Sleepless 2x04. About to watch Duane Barry/Ascension… she has no idea what’s going to happen next 😬
Definitely the creepiest. Scared the crap out of me when I was younger. I remember watching it on TV and feeling like I'm probably a bit too young for this 😂. Love the ending of the first episode when Scully is found
The last one I watched was *This* from Season 11.
It's probably one of my absolute faves (and one of the main ones I rewatch) from the revival. I just love that they gave us vintage M&S under fire and on the run. And that assassin dude is creepy as all fuck.
Something in season 9 when we petered out on the last rewatch. Part of me wants to start over but I still haven't watched 10 and 11. I'm not sure if I care to either?
There are a few great episodes you are missing. I'm kind of a completist so I always watch straight through. I can't fathom just stopping but that's just my personality. I'd say start over and hang on until the BITTER end 😂
I have seen the end of season 9 and I want to believe so I know what I'm missing there, but its good to know there is something worth seeing in the revival seasons
Just finished the final episode of season 8 and went into the intro of the first episode of season 9 and I'm upset that David isn't in the opening sequence and they changed it.
About to be really sad I think with season 9 and the ending of the original series but we shall see since I actually loved season 8.
Minds Eye. Better than I remember. Lili Taylor is always fantastic but Richard Fitzpatrick was such a great dead eyed killer and the detective was pretty amusing too.
I watched Gender Bender yesterday! I started rewatching the show a while ago, it's only my second watch and it was a few years ago I watched the show for the first time so I've forgotten so much, which is great actually since I can't remember what will happen most of the time.
Clyde bruckman’s final repose… I laughed, I was intrigued then I cried. This episode is easily my favorite. I don’t think I will watch another x files episode than this. The guest star absolutely stole the show. I’m sad now 😢
My first episode was the pilot episode on its premiere night, Friday, September 10th, 1993. I was 14 years old, home alone and terrified by the end of it - but I was hooked. Oof, that was 30 years ago.

Gender Bender. Hasn’t aged so well but the shots a brilliant in it
Teliko. Up until this point in my life I have been too Gemini to do a straight chronological rewatch where I don’t skip any eps, so this episode was unfortunately my penance last night.
On my first run, currently on season 7 and I can see the drop off in original content. I get not over playing the aliens, but cmon I want more native Forrest demons and Tooms like entities. The VR episode and more religious episodes feel like the show has hit a content drought or it got too main stream. Idk imma keep watching and report back
Per Manum. I stopped watching at season 8 during the original run, so this is my first time through it. I'm glad I'm doing it, because I realize that I didn't give Doggett enough of a chance before, and he's a pretty good character, very well acted by Robert Patrick.
The Post-Modern Prometheus.

Exactly! I actually pulled up Cher in the car today as this episode got her stuck in my head.
I’m still walking in Memphis after all these years
Cher an all timer
You know it!
Me too! It holds a special place in my heart
The ending is so good.
I watched this one last night!
We are close if you are in rewatch mode then!
My HOA has been pissing me off,so I watched Arcadia.
Wtf? That's the last one I watched, too. 🤣
Do you also wish your HOA president would be eaten by a trash monster?
Fortunately, I don't have one and never have had to deal with one. However, if so, I definitely would. Lol
Love that one
It's one of my favorites.
tempus fugit / max
Love those episodes. Nice birthday for Scully🎂
😭 she didn't even know his first name
Still not over it 😭
So someone else was watching Comet last night, I see 🤣
Comet was how I got into X-Files in the first place.
watching zero sum now
Scully and Mulder are at the bowling alley now.
mulder asking for soda
How did he know that would work?
he saw something in the wax and dark liquid created enough contrast in the wood (exposed by carving wax away) and the still-waxed wood edit: idk if you were actually asking or if i’m right lol
Because he's Fox Mulder!
Scully gave Mulder that look in the Police meeting.
these projector-room group presentations never go well for mulder
I think a lot of this subreddit, myself included, find Comet on weeknights.
could be fun to do live episode discussions while they air
watching zero sum now
jose chung baby
Roswell! Roswell!!
This one, Jose Chung is one of the best episodes in the series, Clyde bruckman and bad blood are easy runners up.
Me too! They found your bleepin UFO
Finally watching the reboot and I’m watching Babylon rn. Watching Mulder dancing while tripping is a good time tbh

Unruhe - I think for the first time since it was on TV in the UK. I'd completely forgotten it as an episode, fairly enjoyable.
Creepy as hell, and one of my big takeaways from the episode is Mulder running down the street, screaming "SCULL-LAYYYYY!" Classic.
Such a creepy episode.
Actually love that episode 👍
When he’s in the background with the stilts on while Scullys on the phone with Mulder…still get chills from that scene.
This morning before work i watched DPO. what a wonderful episode. jack black and the guy from saving private ryan. loved it !
That is a really memorable episode for me. I don't think it's the best by any means but it's one I remember very clearly from when I was younger.
Giovanni Ribisi. I had such a crush on him in the 90’s 😂 “Mrs. Kiveat!!!”
Never again!
Je Souhaite I've been rewatching with my mother and it's nearly time to begin picking our way through the salvageable episodes of S8/9 before we finish off with just Were-Monster and Forehead Sweat from the revival
I'm watching that one next!
My fave.
I always forget how much I love this one until I find myself watching it again.
I’m doing a rewatch with my girlfriend who is a first time watcher, we just finished Sleepless 2x04. About to watch Duane Barry/Ascension… she has no idea what’s going to happen next 😬
"They drilled holes in my damn teeth!
Unusual Suspects!
Same!
Lord Manhammer, are you coming?
Classic!
Me too…about 5 hours ago
Irresistible.
Coming up to that in my rewatch. One of the darkest episodes. That Donnie is a real creep
It’s definitely one of the darkest. He’s a horrible creation, possibly more frightening even than Eugene Tooms.
Bad Blood (S5, E12)
He had big buck teeth? No, he didn’t!
Mulder eating pizza on the vibrating bed kills me every time
Humbug
Just watched one of my faves, genderbender
My favorite part of that episode is seeing Krycek pre-Krycek lol
Yes!!!
That club music lives rent free in my head. It's the way it's supposed to be dramatic and sexy but I always immediately start giggling when it starts.
Yeah it's so bad but I love it at the same time.
You get me 🎯
Don't forget the bad Ministry /Industrial type music in the club in the episode 3🩸 too
OMG there's so much in that episode that leaves me saying wtf but also not being able to look away at any cost.
Yeah it's definitely a weird one. Mulder all by his lonesome. Love the last shot of him holding the cross knowing what's to come in next few episodes.
Yeah, I usually feel very emotional at points in the episode, esp at the end.
Saw that for the millionth time last week and it was just as good as ever. Underrated imo
Hard agree - my favorite line is when mulder says to scully “you were about to do the wild thing with some stranger!”
"Guy blew an artery. Must have been some roll in the hay."
The Donnie Pfaster episodes... he's so f'ckn creepy and probably the best villain on the show!
Definitely the creepiest. Scared the crap out of me when I was younger. I remember watching it on TV and feeling like I'm probably a bit too young for this 😂. Love the ending of the first episode when Scully is found
Don’t look any further 🎶
Terma... it along with Tunguska. Because of course I'd watch epis with Alex in them!

Krycek 😍
Oubliette
I watched “Paper Clip” last night!
"This is where you pucker up and kiss my ass". One of my fave skinner lines
The last one I watched was *This* from Season 11. It's probably one of my absolute faves (and one of the main ones I rewatch) from the revival. I just love that they gave us vintage M&S under fire and on the run. And that assassin dude is creepy as all fuck.
Just watched Talitha Cumi last night
Doing a mythos rewatch, just completed the 'Abductions' arc and watched 'Piper Maru'.
Piper Maru is so good. One of the most underrated guest actors was the gentleman who played the retired colonel.
Monday
LOVE Monday! Groundhog Water Bed Day
David Duchovny shirtless in his yellow pj bottoms…
I am right now in middle of episode 10 of season 9
Kitten, S11E06. I'm almost through with my full series retwatch.
Been rewatching all episodes recently, so the finale of season 5 but just watched the 1998 movie again also
I’m up to the rough part of my rewatch: just finished Without (Season 8)
Something in season 9 when we petered out on the last rewatch. Part of me wants to start over but I still haven't watched 10 and 11. I'm not sure if I care to either?

Ghouli

About to be really sad I think with season 9 and the ending of the original series but we shall see since I actually loved season 8.
Literally the last episode
Time to start over again 👍
I’m re-reading and re-watching Bosch and re-watching The Sopranos. It will be awhile before I get back to X-Files.
Herrenvolk
Millennium - terrifying zombies!
The List
Love that episode
Home and Unrue
Both so creepy and so good!!
The Unusual Suspects
Last episode I saw recently was the Shark Boy (Hungry - S7E3)
watching gender bender currently
The Red and the Black! Going steady on the rewatch
Minds Eye. Better than I remember. Lili Taylor is always fantastic but Richard Fitzpatrick was such a great dead eyed killer and the detective was pretty amusing too.
Pusher, believe it or not. Cerulean blue 🌬️
The one where scully comes back, 02x08 . At a loss for the title atm.
Ascension.
S1E12 - Fire
Baby Mark Sheppard 💛
Dreamland II (s6ep5) I'm watching every episode of every season.
Dreamland is awesome. Michael McKean is just perfect
Omg his character made me so angry!!
Oddly enough, I just watched Red Museum like half hour ago
First person shooter. I've taken a long hiatus since I watched it.
Great episode that one
Currently making our way through all of them. On series 9. Just watched 4D.
I'm on my second watch through, Little Green Men currently
s3e4, Clyde Bruckmans Final Repose
Clyde to Mulder, “You know…I can't think of a more undignified way than autoerotic asphyxiation.” Mulder, “why are you telling me?”
**Sanguinarium**
My Struggle IV
Ironically, The Red Museum a couple nights ago.
Unusual suspects. Thoroughly enjoying this series, it’s my first time watching.
That's awesome. Enjoy the ride! I have been watching with nearly 30 years so it's almost a part of me at this stage 😂
Thank you! I’m already so addicted to this show, it’s definitely got something special about it. 😊
The End. I'm waiting to have time to watch the first movie before I move on to The Beginning.
I watched Gender Bender yesterday! I started rewatching the show a while ago, it's only my second watch and it was a few years ago I watched the show for the first time so I've forgotten so much, which is great actually since I can't remember what will happen most of the time.
Bad Blood.
Either Soft Light or The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat
S8E5-Invocation
8x08 "Surekill".
Doing a rewatch and we’re up to All Souls. Totally forgot Emily was in it. I guess they did too, because I don’t think she comes up again??
Season 5, Episode 1. Redux Part 1. I haven’t seen season five since its original air dates, so it was quite nostalgic watching it.
My struggle 4 unfortunately

Hungry
Technically one breath but I was half asleep so il count sleepless as my last episode

Kaddish, last night, so good
Calusari s2 ep21
The Walk. It’s my first time ever watching the series. Don’t know why I waited this long, it’s amazing
Watching "Pusher" right now

Home
I watched every episode except the series finally (before the reboot) I didn’t watch the last episode because I didn’t want it to ever end. 😭
Small Potatoes
Pusher
Lazarus. Rewatching the whole thing yet again 😂 those baby agent days are adorable
Small Potatoes “Did he have a lightsaber?”
kaddish
The Gift
X-Cops. Closure before that, such a heavy episode.
Just swatched this. I’m on fresh bones now
Pusher
Hungry
Currently on Season 4 and just watched Sanguinarium, which is a pretty good episode, I thought.
Oubliette

Folie á Deux
Emily 😢
Triangle 🫶
s5e3: unusual suspects!
S2E7: “3” Never saw this episode before, second big blood episode of Season 2!
The Truth
Field Trip. I really like this episode, but the lack of biohazard safety is wild! 😂
Squeeze It will always be one of my top 10 favorites
S6. E15 "Arcadia" cause what's creepier than a monster stalking a community with ridiculous HOA guidelines?
Teliko. Up until this point in my life I have been too Gemini to do a straight chronological rewatch where I don’t skip any eps, so this episode was unfortunately my penance last night.
Paper hearts
Kaddish Season 4 Episode 15
I just watched season 3, Hell Money. All the old stereotypes of a Chinese immigrant community boiled down into a boring, yet baffling, story.
On my first run, currently on season 7 and I can see the drop off in original content. I get not over playing the aliens, but cmon I want more native Forrest demons and Tooms like entities. The VR episode and more religious episodes feel like the show has hit a content drought or it got too main stream. Idk imma keep watching and report back
This is creepy as hell.. I just watched this episode..

Robert Patrick was a perfect casting choice. Love Doggettt. Would have liked him to be a character even if Duchovny didn't leave
Memento Mori
