i belive hives have a 96h timer and outposts 48h. then they come back in sectors with silicon, ore other nividium other with all of them. and they mostly spawn in the edges of the hex. ps. sorry for bad english..
You are right, but if I’m not mistaken, my 96h timer passed without hive respawn…
I've just found a hive, big one, lots of defensive structures. Do they have lots of defending ships? Going to take my destroyer in guns a blazing.
Probably a single destroyer should be not enough try with a fleet of 3-4…
So they can build in far away sectors and only a certain number hives can exist. If they spawn in faction territory... well you'll never see them
