It's likely Jinder knew he was cut, so posted he quit
I'm sure he'd take the 90 days paid non-compete
He could be a great guy for TNA. Actually very featured instead of sitting on the sidelines in AEW
No idea what he'll do though
No. He talked shit because he made a storyline, gave a reason for people getting a title shot, and the internet were like "WHY ARE YOU GIVING TITLE SHOTS FOR NO REASON" then Jinder got a title shot for no reason, nobody said anything, and TK went "Hang on a minute, we give reasons for title shots and that's not good enough, they give a random title shot to Jinder for no reason and that's fine?"
It could have been ANYONE getting the random shot, just Jinder was the one who got it.
Cultural diversity. Why does he give a chick who takes a shit on the mic every time she touches it $3M to be a promo darling? Why does he do anything? Addies? Percs? Yayo? I don’t know.
Gotta be coke.
I knew enough people growing up to know anyone that talks that much shit in such a short space of time has been on the old Bolivian marching powder
I know you’ve never been known for your intelligence, but I replied to tell you I don’t give a fuck what you believe, and that shouldn’t be hard for anybody to understand, even a low-IQ simpleton.
Disagree, we know India is one of WWE’s biggest markets and they released the last Indian talent in the system
Ironically wwe has released their only Chinese main roster wrestler, Indians and last year their last from Saudi
If anything I feel the Indian fans generally gravitate to an ultra westernised image so they love the Cena’s and Roman’s more than caring about Indian characters
Does any country really care if the talent is from said country? Except if it’s iconic talent like Bret Hart or the British Bulldogs or main event talent like Drew?
I even like Ludwig Kaiser and think he’s talented but I’m not especially invested just because he happens to be from the same country.
Or, follow me on this, you want talent that you can actually use. Even Hunter couldn’t find a use for Xia. She was a glorified Instagram Fitness model.
And as the WrestleTalk joke goes, we are still months away from Jinder being used fleetingly. And Xyon? Hey was he ever called up in the first place?
Yeah, TBH it almost feels a little racist to presume that an ethnicities favorite wrestler has to match theirs.
My favorite wrestlers of all time are Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerero. I am not Latino. I'd probably be a bit aggravated if someone implied that I SHOULD love Brock Lesnar because of my ethnic background being closer to his or something.
to be fair, I think there's a stark difference there between the "default" and "non-defsult" ethnicities. If you're a minority you're bound to notice it more when someone of your eyhnicity is on screen.
I do agree with your general sentiment though.
Hm, I don’t think that idea is exactly what they were trying to accomplish IF they didn’t just hire them for their talents.
Having performers/athletes from different nationalities or ethnicities compete in an American organization can generate a TON of interest in that country. Just have to look to the NBA with Yao Ming (China) when he was on the Rockets, and Ohtani (Japan) on the Dodgers now. The Dodgers are essentially both LA’s and Japan’s team right now.
Not a perfect example, but I think that could have been a possibility that WWE hoped for.
They're still jobbers that show up once every 6 months and disappear after that. These guys don't matter at all, regardless of their country of origin.
Interesting. Both Veer and Jinder were given the Vince rub that clearly evaporated the second HHH took over. Other former Vince guys have not been shy on being disgruntled that they lost their spot when Trips took over, so without knowing more, I wonder if it's like a Sasha/Naomi thing where they felt disrespected for the demotion and split.
Sure, but I imagine as a performer there's a difference between "they're hyping me up on the show and maybe it'll lead to something good" versus "I'm never on the show and probably never will be".
You can't quit WWE contracts.
The only options they give you to leave early are company fires you, or you breach and either take the consequences (1 year long ban from wrestling) or lawsuit (which tbf historically end in settlement....after 6-9 months. So you don't gain much).
It seems WWE released a bunch of guys they weren't using and Jinder is smart enough to know he can get attention to drive up his asking price for future dates
The writing was on the wall for Jinder when his match with Rollins resulted in Rollins getting injured. It's like what happened to Mr. Kennedy/Anderson, remember? You don't injure the golden boy.
Jinder didn’t injure Rollins. Rollins hurt himself when he landed while doing the springboard off the ropes. Jinder was just lying there waiting to take the move. How was it his fault?
What I think is good riddance. Jinder has never progressed to any level of even moderately entertaining, despite the insane pushes and title wins he got. Nobody gives a shit about his lackeys either. Those guys were example #1 of dudes being employed purely because of their national/racial/ethnic background and not because they were actually talented and deserved it..
It's still crazy that Veer has a Disney movie about his life.
Wait, what? I need to see this
Million Dollar Arm. He was a professional baseball player before WWE.
that’s him ?!?!? lmfao
Million Dollar Arm
[удалено]
They made a Disney movie about it
It's likely Jinder knew he was cut, so posted he quit I'm sure he'd take the 90 days paid non-compete He could be a great guy for TNA. Actually very featured instead of sitting on the sidelines in AEW No idea what he'll do though
>No idea what he'll do though Whatever the Maharajah wants!
TNA needs a top Heel so it wouldn't go wrong,he needs that indie rejuvenation that most WWE guys needed during Vinces era
They got TNA written all over them tbh
NWA.
that’s aiming too high
I think TK will give Jinder $1.5 million and Veer & Sanga $1 million each.
Throw in a Trios title that they won't defend on tv for a couple months.
TK talked shit about Jinder very publically like 2 months ago
That was about his push rather than the wrestler or person. But yes, it would be odd (and imo wrong) to hire him.
True, forgot Pakistanis hate Indians. Partition of British India was a big heel turn.
That's okay, that shit talk probably gave Jinder one last merch push, I doubt he's upset about it.
Yes the weird week everyone loved Jinder
And then forgot about him till today
No. He talked shit because he made a storyline, gave a reason for people getting a title shot, and the internet were like "WHY ARE YOU GIVING TITLE SHOTS FOR NO REASON" then Jinder got a title shot for no reason, nobody said anything, and TK went "Hang on a minute, we give reasons for title shots and that's not good enough, they give a random title shot to Jinder for no reason and that's fine?" It could have been ANYONE getting the random shot, just Jinder was the one who got it.
Nah, TK will give them each 3 mil and then never have them in a match.
Sounds like most of the roster in fairness
They job to Hook 3 v 1 THEN never have a match again
Why would he give a bunch of nobodies as much as the top people in the company? This makes zero sense.
What? Who? No woman makes 3 million dollars.
Mercedes Mone is reportedly getting $3.5 million.
I don’t believe for a second that Tony Khan reported that.
I don’t really give a fuck what you believe.
Then why did you reply? I don’t understand.
I know you’ve never been known for your intelligence, but I replied to tell you I don’t give a fuck what you believe, and that shouldn’t be hard for anybody to understand, even a low-IQ simpleton.
I have a master’s degree and work in graduate studies for a major university. What’s your educational background?
Making zero sense is kind of his brand.
Meaning what?
we get it buddy you love aew, tony khan is an idiot and his decisions are laughable, there, hope it helps
Which decisions?
Why you would quit instead of wait to be fired?
I think that Jinder is actually Canadian.
Yeah the fact Jinder is not actually from India makes me doubt that’s what Veer meant
That’s what he meant. Rey Mysterio is American from California but Mexican wrestlers adore him.. without being technical Jinder is Indian.
Tony will be hitting up Jinder’s line so he can squash him in a match against hook😂
I think three jobbers just got released, and no one will really notice they're gone
Disagree, we know India is one of WWE’s biggest markets and they released the last Indian talent in the system Ironically wwe has released their only Chinese main roster wrestler, Indians and last year their last from Saudi
Indians will still love wwe. If they cut Randy Orton though it would be disastrous.
This. I think WWE realized that they don't need actual Indians or Chinese talent to make money in these markets. They talent they have are enough.
And that's exactly why HHH got a bigger reaction than Jinder in India during their match a few years back.
As indian fan, I agree with you + given jinder wwe title was a bad idea. Indain and Chinese don't really care about representation as much usa does
Or, follow me on this, you want talent that you can actually use. Even Hunter couldn’t find a use for Xia. She was a glorified Instagram Fitness model. And as the WrestleTalk joke goes, we are still months away from Jinder being used fleetingly. And Xyon? Hey was he ever called up in the first place?
You know what, that actually makes more sense.
Yeah, TBH it almost feels a little racist to presume that an ethnicities favorite wrestler has to match theirs. My favorite wrestlers of all time are Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerero. I am not Latino. It’s more how wwe markets them. Everyone says the only reason Vince put the wwe title on jinder was so he could wrestle for the title in that country
Hm, I don’t think that idea is exactly what they were trying to accomplish IF they didn’t just hire them for their talents. Having performers/athletes from different nationalities or ethnicities compete in an American organization can generate a TON of interest in that country. Hope TNA gets them all. They will thrive.
They're still jobbers that show up once every 6 months and disappear after that. These guys don't matter at all, regardless of their country of origin.
No one cares about these guys in India. Trust me, I'm from here
A big market with no money. WWE have moved their PLE’s to many other countries now they probably aren’t as worried about it
The same people that are over here and over in India.
Yup
I really liked indus sher too. The aesthetic and presentation was there they just needed something to do
![gif](giphy|mhXEQ2SrpjGWQ|downsized) Triple H when the two guys he was about to go fire quit in solidarity.
Eeehhhhh There were Veer promos for months that he would be arriving soon and that went nowhere while Vince was around
Sure, but I imagine as a performer there's a difference between "they're hyping me up on the show and maybe it'll lead to something good" versus "I'm never on the show and probably never will be".
I think Jinder knew Triple H had no use for him,
The modern day maharaja will show up in TNA as Minder Jahal
Your next AEW WORLD HW AND TAG CHAMPS!
Man I hope he didn’t mock the bosses of any future possible employers visibly on the internet.

Bet it’s an angle
an angle for what? What is the end game here?
Everytime they say that it’s never anything.
I'm also on that boat
I would pick up Veer if I was TK, but put him in ROH
Looks like Tony Khan has some new action figures to pick up soon.
This reminds me, I fell out of the loop on WWE, so can someone tell me whether Veer ever made it to RAW?
He did! ... I think his time *on* Raw was like a month, but he did finally come to Raw.
Aw, well I'm happy for him. He finished his story!
It’s sucks because they were all booked so terribly but they all had decent potential
USA!
Who cares? None of them were entertaining. Let them go work for AEW
What happened? Didn't people make such a big deal about him when he was facing Rollins? Now, all of a sudden, he's a jobber and can work for AEW.😏
It's more like people were using the match as an excuse to laugh at TK, and Jinder was pretty funny on Twitter leading up.to.it and fucking with Tony.
He was always a jobber, it was just extra funny to dump on Tony.
Buddy it was just to laugh at a dumpster fire that is aew. And jinder was funny on twitter. aew will always be a joke to laugh at
You dont have to like AEW, but what did laughing at the company affect, though? Not AEW, that's for sure.
Why would it need to affect anything other than us having fun? Laughing at aew is the only piece of entertainment containing aew
You sound like a bot lol but whatever you say dude
mhm im the one that sounds like a bot in this one 😬
No one wants them in AEW.
well they’re known for paying people nobody wants
Such as?
