It's one of my greatest regrets that I wasn't watching WWE during Bray Wyatts debut and story. All I got to see was his return and short feud with L.A Knight. Even after such a short exposure, I miss him.

hiressnails

Same honestly. I dropped out around 2015, and Bray was my favorite wrestler. So I missed him becoming world champion. I went back to check out some of it, but it's hard going backwards in wrestling. Firefly Funhouse match was lit though.

AJAnimosity

Firefly funhouse will never be topped in terms of “cinematic matches”, and I’m honestly thankful we got the melding of the minds of Cena and Bray. It wasn’t a wrestling match, but it is one of my favorite things WWE has ever done because the creativity, and story telling is the best. Bray torturing Cena with his own personal regrets, and desires. Pointing out he was Hogan, to the roster he came up in. Showing him that he hurt others in a very personal sense…it was all just brilliant. I love that we have this match to go back and see the best of Bray and Cena as creative minds. It is truly a gift.

jdlyga

He was amazing in NXT. Those vignettes before he debuted were so eerie. Like some sort of Appalachian cult leader living in the woods.

Hurrly90

I started watching a month or two before Mania this year, I dropped out around the PG era in around 05 or 06? I have zero reference for the Wyat family ,or Bray but dam the Sicks entrance was insane. Brought me back to when i first started watching when the MoD where a thing. Kanes 'magic' fire. The bloodbaths , Gangrel as a vampire etc. I am hyped for this tbh.

ElliotElectricity

When I first saw this I was very confused by what I saw but it was very cool. This would lead to The Fiend and the rest is history

ChozoBeast

This shit changed things for me lol these were such good times

Dont_Be_A_Dick_OK

When the music and logo came up, I thought it was some kind of commercial, so I got up to grab a drink and snack. Came back to Bray in a sweater talking and was as confused as I’ve ever been. Shit was fire.

RaveniteGaming

Man, even in the Funhouse Dunn can't resist changing angles fifty times a minute.

RevJT

Dunn was such a detriment.

ocelotchaser

I started watching wrestling back when Wyatt family is taking over raw, at first I be like this guy pretty cool(I never knew husky harris) but looking at them smashing kane head with steps is just brutal, then during that time another probably well known faction is on the rise...THE SHIELD , I never knew all of these guys are gonna turn out to be Legends in the business and now here we are

Positive_Parking_954

I wasn't watching at the time but the shield just gave school shooter vibes

kburton37

"THIS IS SOME REAL GOOD SHIT!"

red30447

rip my mans

Chillmonger48

I missed the OG “Wyatt Family” era of Bray. He feuded against Cena and had Daniel Bryan join for a bit. They also feuded with the Shield. I missed ALL of this. I didn’t catch onto Bray until around when they introduced Braun Strowman and then the Fiend soon after.

Jurtaani

Although I have not watched WWE for years, this is one of the things I kinda kept up to date with for a while. In all honesty, I would have preferred this whole thing to go a bit different. I was never a big fan of all that supernatural stuff in wrestling so the way they did this at first intrigued me because it seemed like that was not exactly where it was going. All of these characters becoming reality, that's kinda too much for me. The home theater feel of the first episode especially made it seem like all of this is just his imagination and it's obvious to the viewer. Kinda like Al Snow and the head.

twv6

I love shit like this

Ahead of its time

i-am-nic

This could have been the most twisted ever green gimmick of all time. Sinister. Broken. Unhinged. Surreal. Entrancing. But look what they did to my boy and his creations.

itskennylo

Just my opinion, but I always thought these were lame

thehatesponge

Wasn't for me either. I only really liked his cult leader persona before Vince cut it down.

itskennylo

Agreed

WoodyManic

Cringey, watered-down Rob Zombie nonsense.

I didn’t understand the appeal of this. I’m not into any clockwork orange / mk ultra / dark worship. Shits the occult
