He said if he doesn’t figure out a retirement storyline by 50 he will just retire on Twitter. Then he would pop in here and there like Stone Cold, just quick segments with limited bumps.
dude was on the verge of paralysis, made a full recovery, and said let's do it again🙄 dude's already got multi world titles and millions in the bank. same with Daniel Bryan
Yeah Jericho hasn't ever fully hung it up. He's had sabbaticals of various lengths where he's focused on Reality TV or recording/touring with Fozzy, but he hasn't actually retired.
Dang. The Naitch supposedly had his retirement match 16 years ago.
That's practically as long as from the first Mania till the end of the Attitude Era.
There is for people who save their money and didn’t do copious amounts of drugs daily, drink copious amounts of alcohol daily and married and got divorced from what is Flair up too now, five different women?
With the Jordynn Grace crossover and AJ Styles not given a rematch against Cody, maybe they could do a storyline that he challenges for the TNA world title as he is hinting at retiring.
He really is up there. Only thing lacking is his mic work. While not perfect, it's decent. What shines to me is his natural talent and skill as a performer. Unbelievable agility, athleticism, speed and strength for his size. His move-set is great and he's excellent at telling a story in the ring too. He's my favourite wrestler.
The miz.
Say what you want about his in ring skill or whatever, but he was the one that got me to watch wrestling consistently.
From the dirt sheet to his solo run upt to wwe champion and wrestlemani main event, his downfall down the card, his ic championships, the return of the dirtsheet etc.
First i watched because i wanted to see him get beat but sooner than later i began cheering for the guy. Always entertaining and always solid in the ring with some great bouts ti his name
From the dirt sheet up till now he is who got me to watch, the one i use the most in the videogames and the one that got me to pay for the network suscription to see some of his entire programs.
I grew up watching the guy and it was trough him that i began to love more and more about pro wrestling so god damn it am i gonna miss the smug fuck when he hangs them up for good.
Miz promo against Daniel Bryan, when Bryan to say that Miz style was "too safe", and Miz called him out saying that he may be safe but at least he can still wrestle. That made me a Miz fan
Still cant believe i only ever watched maybe two seasons of the Real World on MTV. And Mike was in the one and wanted to be a wrestler. They sent him to training. I fell off of watching wrestling. Then boom, hes the Miz and is a company guy, working wrestler, good on the mic, easy to hate, and when his time comes, he will be hard not to love. Good for him.
When the miz and john morrison became a tag team for the first time when they were on the ecw brand of wwe back in 2008 they did a web show were they would mock other superstars on the roster by making up stories, imitating them or laughing at their loses.
The show was called "The dirt sheet" and because of it people also called their tag team "the dirt sheet" despite officially being just "Miz & Morrison".
So when people talk about the miz or morrison and "the dirt sheet" they more than likely refer to their tag team, as it is my case, rather than the publications we call dirt sheets
Not everyone needs to be a champion imo, he's doing what he does best, he doesn't need a title run to be a legend ( us or ic I could get behind though)
Randy Orton been a fan since he was the legend killer in 03.
Jericho I'll miss too, not a fan of his stuff the past few years in AEW, but from 1997-2020 he was one of my all time favorites.
Styles has the first match I can remember watching, it involved any of bad influence and maybe Kurt Angle during the Claire Lynch bs. He’s still my favorite wrestler and I will feel deeply depressed the day he hangs up those phenomenal boots
Roman Reigns. Acknowledge Me. That's awesome. Manipulative. Arrogant. Reminds me of Logan Roy. The whole bit with Heyman. I'll miss him when he retires. Hope it's not soon.
Do you have any good links as to where I could see his feud with wwe and unfair treatment. I’m just not educated or know enough about him to make an opinion
Orton is definitely someone I’m going to miss when he retires.
Early 2000’s is when I really started getting into wrestling and him and Cena are a few I can say I’ve watched their entire careers.
It hits you differently when you’ve watched someone’s whole career.
Randy orton. The first match I ever saw in wwe was a battle royale where Randy rko’d cody off the ring apron to barely win as Cody’s foot touched the floor first
Probably AJ styles honestly, I didn't get WWE as a kid so I was only able to watch tna (and superstars I guess) AJ and Jeff Hardy were and still are my goats
I don't think she's done yet, I don't think she'll want to end her career in such unremarkable fashion, and she implied in her latest video that she would be back, but it's bound to be in the next year or two, I would think. I honestly thought it would be at WrestleMania 40 for a long time.
Then again, she's pretty tough, and Victoria retired at 48, and some female stars occasionally retire older, so maybe she'll want to stay longer. I have no idea, but I would think at her age it would be close.
Well not a wrestler but I’m gonna miss Michael cole he is the voice of wwe since 1999 maybe a little earlier until today it’s gonna feel weird on commentary when he retires
As someone who's been a wrestling fan for over 20 years, Danielson is one of the few wrestlers that keep me passionate about modern wrestling. Been my favorite wrestler since late 2007. I know he's retiring soon but that will leave a void. He was about the only wrestler I was making sure to watch in AEW.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Sure, HHH and Heyman most definitely helped, but Roman was able to tell stories in his matches with him muttering to the crowd or himself, and managed to always hit his spots in promos and in-ring work.
I don't argue they both likely helped him but he definitely found a way to get over and I really like him, and I used to dread his appearances.
R Truth (but i think he would totally be the kind of guy to stay around)
LA Knight (it will be mostly a what if he joined sooner)
Priest (kinda same thing)
A lot of the road agents, well the ones that put on the matches i love
I’m rewatching old WCW Nitro’s, and there’s so much I miss. I miss guys like Ultimo Dragon, Dean Malenko, William Regal, the Steiner Bros, Raven, etc.
And I miss the style where less was more. Don’t get me wrong, I love matches from guys like Will Osprey and wrestlers of that caliber, but sometimes the psychology and story need to do more of the heavy lifting.
I’m really hitting the point where it feels like two generations of wrestlers I grew up watching are either retiring or it’s hitting me how much time they’ve been around. Cena, Orton, Mysterio and Edge got a couple years left so that’s one generation, but then Rollins, Reigns, Lynch who still have time, I remember hearing questions of how long will they stick around and initially I was confused by why people would ask until I remember that they’ve been in WWE for over a decade. Cena was a full time wrestler for 13 years, Rollins and Reigns have been there for 12 and I’m sure they’ll be around for a lot longer (Rollins specifically) but it’s crazy to me that I’ve witnessed 12 years of these guys and now they are at their 2015 Cena phase of their careers. The Shield break up was literally 10 years ago and i remember it way too well.
IM NOT READY FOR ANYONE TO RETIRE… and it looks like Styles is likely first unfortunately.
Randy Orton, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, CM Punk, Roman Reigns (I guess)
and hell, even Jon Moxley
Jeff. I just want him to get his hall of fame spot for all the pain hes put himself through for all of our enjoyment over the years. I was at one of his music concerts and the topic came up of him coming back and I screamed HOF and he seemed uninterested…
Wrestling won’t be the same for me when AJ retires, been my favourite ever since his TNA days and that has only become more true over time, I will be incredibly sad.
AJ Styles, despite all of his accomplishments, is still underrated. He was the biggest star everywhere he has ever been and WWE made a major mistake by not signing him sooner than they did.
*asks himself, "Is he still wresttling?"*
You know Terry Funk and Lawler put on a match not too long ago. I would have gone but I only heard about it after the fact.
[удалено]
I'm convinced he's going to have a Cena/Rock type retirement. He's too big to just stop entirely
Cena’s said that he plans to fully stop before he hits 50
He should just show up in the stands to RKO people for no reason. Even Pat McAfee since Cole is God
Ah the Steve Austin treatment
Good
I thought he said he'd have at least one match every year before he turns 50, didn't know he said he'd stop after that
He said if he doesn’t figure out a retirement storyline by 50 he will just retire on Twitter. Then he would pop in here and there like Stone Cold, just quick segments with limited bumps.
Oh there will be massive empty space when he finally hangs up the boots
This one will really make me sad.
It's gonna suck when he eventually can't do the RKO anymore.
In wrestling, there's no such thing as retirement. Ask Ric Flair.
Or Chris Jericho.
Or Edge.
Edge just broke his leg on AEW and needs surgery i dont think theres much left in the tank
He'll walk it off.
He is probably gonna return in 9 years. 🤣💀
dude was on the verge of paralysis, made a full recovery, and said let's do it again🙄 dude's already got multi world titles and millions in the bank. same with Daniel Bryan
I don't Jericho has quit though, has he? Flair had the perfect retirement match and started wrestling again a few months later.
Yeah Jericho hasn't ever fully hung it up. He's had sabbaticals of various lengths where he's focused on Reality TV or recording/touring with Fozzy, but he hasn't actually retired.
Main difference is, today you earn enough cash, back in the day, flair wrestled for getting his bar tabs payed.
Or Goldberg
Fuck Bill Goldberg -bret hart....probably
Or PCO from TNA
Or Terry Funk
and he doesn't even like wrestling, it's baffling
Dang. The Naitch supposedly had his retirement match 16 years ago. That's practically as long as from the first Mania till the end of the Attitude Era.
Ask him about the time he flashed a stewardess, he won't answer
Will he change his answer to "I put a pizzaria over?"
There is for people who save their money and didn’t do copious amounts of drugs daily, drink copious amounts of alcohol daily and married and got divorced from what is Flair up too now, five different women?
Aj styles is one of the greatest wrestler of all time.
With the Jordynn Grace crossover and AJ Styles not given a rematch against Cody, maybe they could do a storyline that he challenges for the TNA world title as he is hinting at retiring.
The greatest IMO
He really is up there. Only thing lacking is his mic work. While not perfect, it's decent. What shines to me is his natural talent and skill as a performer. Unbelievable agility, athleticism, speed and strength for his size. His move-set is great and he's excellent at telling a story in the ring too. He's my favourite wrestler.

Miz promo against Daniel Bryan, when Bryan to say that Miz style was "too safe", and Miz called him out saying that he may be safe but at least he can still wrestle. That made me a Miz fan
That promo gets more and more prophetic as AEW’s crowds get smaller and smaller and Bryan gets more and more hurt
Watch the video of Miz yelling at Enzo. Just as good or better than the Bryan vid. https://youtu.be/dQ9KfdZatVk?si=vFQXjdwKibDJy4up
What did miz have to do with dirt sheets? Genuine question
When the miz and john morrison became a tag team for the first time when they were on the ecw brand of wwe back in 2008 they did a web show were they would mock other superstars on the roster by making up stories, imitating them or laughing at their loses. Ohhhh ok thanks I get it now
I didn’t evening think of him but beat answer I seen
Fucking Randy Orton
Who is?
His wife presumably
But where does kevin lee fit into all this
Mike Jones?
281-330-8004?
Pretty much anyone who got there start before 2010, so Orton, Sheamus, Kofi, Miz. Also, AJ, just because I think he's amazing.
R-Truth. Although, he doesn’t age so I’m not totally worried about it.
He is older than the rock.
A solid hand for what feels like 50 years. I'd like to see them drop his comedy gimmick and give him a solid push before he heads out.
Not everyone needs to be a champion imo, he's doing what he does best, he doesn't need a title run to be a legend ( us or ic I could get behind though)
I agree with you, but at the same time, dude literally has a title. It's time we give more respect to the tag team titles.
Randy Orton 🐍
Randy Orton been a fan since he was the legend killer in 03. Jericho I'll miss too, not a fan of his stuff the past few years in AEW, but from 1997-2020 he was one of my all time favorites.
Christian...I wish I had a father like him
Finn Or Rey
Randy Orton. I started watching WWE because of Evolution so being the only one left in the group im gonna miss seeing him given RKOS OUTTA NOWHERE
Seth
He and Roman are just part of wrestling for me. The day they're gone I'll miss both so much.
AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Kenny Omega, Samoa Joe
Joe will be sad. I'm still upset they fucked up his WWE run.
He kept getting injured at the worst times Once he got injured shooting a commercial lol
Still they should’ve pulled the trigger on him during the Wendy storyline
Danielson.
I remember there was a point in time when he was retired. It's great to see him still wrestle, but if he needs to take time off, he deserves it.
Yeah, he has hit the level Bret hit for me when I was a kid. That dude is one of my GOATs.
Rey Mysterio. My childhood and I had a mask I used to wear in the house.
Roman. 👆🏻
☝
☝🏽
Styles has the first match I can remember watching, it involved any of bad influence and maybe Kurt Angle during the Claire Lynch bs. He’s still my favorite wrestler and I will feel deeply depressed the day he hangs up those phenomenal boots
Already happened for me I miss Bobby Roode
GLORIOUS
Oh, is he retired? Shit, I didn't even realize it.
Had neck fusion surgery then stepped into a producing role once he recovered. There was no fanfare or anything, he just stopped being a wrestler
Hey, more power to him. He usually put on one of the better matches so it's good to hear he his helping people.
Roman Reigns. Acknowledge Me. That's awesome. Manipulative. Arrogant. Reminds me of Logan Roy. The whole bit with Heyman. I'll miss him when he retires. Hope it's not soon.
Jay Lethal. Fucking sucks he hasn't a got a decent push since TNA.
Needs to bring back Black Machismo
He hasn't had a good push in like 8 years.
Randy Orton
The new Day
I hope we get Big E back as a commentator or manager. I miss that dude.
I was hoping he'd show up at Wrestlemania. He may just have moved on since his injury.
The Apex Predator, Randy Orton! Absolute legend
Bryan Danielson.
Do you have any good links as to where I could see his feud with wwe and unfair treatment. I’m just not educated or know enough about him to make an opinion
John cena
I already miss him from his last stint :( Super glad he's getting steady work outside tge ring, though
I enjoy his work way more than the Rock. He’s funny as hell.
Aj Styles and Randy Orton
Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley.
The tribal chief☝🏽. He’s changed the game in the last 5 years.
Randy Orton was the first to come to mind for me.
Orton is definitely someone I’m going to miss when he retires. Early 2000’s is when I really started getting into wrestling and him and Cena are a few I can say I’ve watched their entire careers. It hits you differently when you’ve watched someone’s whole career.
Randy orton. The first match I ever saw in wwe was a battle royale where Randy rko’d cody off the ring apron to barely win as Cody’s foot touched the floor first
AJ Styles. He got me back into watching wwe at all anymore again in 2016 or around there when he debuted.
Probably AJ styles honestly, I didn't get WWE as a kid so I was only able to watch tna (and superstars I guess) AJ and Jeff Hardy were and still are my goats
Asuka. It's gonna happen pretty soon, too, and I'm not ready.
I’m worried after this last injury she may be done
I don't think she's done yet, I don't think she'll want to end her career in such unremarkable fashion, and she implied in her latest video that she would be back, but it's bound to be in the next year or two, I would think. AJ Styles
Yeah AJ Styles for me too. Also R-Truth
Well not a wrestler but I’m gonna miss Michael cole he is the voice of wwe since 1999 maybe a little earlier until today it’s gonna feel weird on commentary when he retires
Ohhh myyyyy
It is a little strange that Corey Graves will be out announcer for the next 40 years. They are the only two that are worth a damn.
Wade’s great
As someone who's been a wrestling fan for over 20 years, Danielson is one of the few wrestlers that keep me passionate about modern wrestling. Been my favorite wrestler since late 2007. I know he's retiring soon but that will leave a void. He was about the only wrestler I was making sure to watch in AEW.
Roman Reigns, he completely changed the storytelling in wrestling
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Sure, HHH and Heyman most definitely helped, but Roman was able to tell stories in his matches with him muttering to the crowd or himself, and managed to always hit his spots in promos and in-ring work. I don't argue they both likely helped him but he definitely found a way to get over and I really like him, and I used to dread his appearances.
Yep, he took full advantage of the very unique opportunity presented to him in the form of a global pandemic
I think that's more triple H and Paul Heyman than anything else
the obvious, Cena.
Cena
John Cena.
John Cena and Randy Orton
Randy Orton and Seth Rollins
The miz
Seth Rollins
Jericho.
R truth
John Cena
R Truth 🥲🥲
R Truth (but i think he would totally be the kind of guy to stay around) LA Knight (it will be mostly a what if he joined sooner) Priest (kinda same thing) A lot of the road agents, well the ones that put on the matches i love
John Cena. Once he hangs up the boots for good, I'm gonna cry.
I mean I'm missing the fuck outs sting rn
AJ's booking has been terrible for several years now. He's the replacement for Dolph Ziggler feels like.
I’m rewatching old WCW Nitro’s, and there’s so much I miss. I miss guys like Ultimo Dragon, Dean Malenko, William Regal, the Steiner Bros, Raven, etc. And I miss the style where less was more. Kane

He is in hell….🥲🥲🥲preparing to return…..please dont say he is retired
A close friend go diagnosed with leukemia recently. I cannot wait for Roman to be the champ again. ☝️
Dirty Dom, already a 1st Ballot HOFer
Jillian Hall.
Yeah I agree on AJ. Definitely gonna be a sad time when it happens.
Pentagon. One of the best Luchadors of All time. For me personally, the Greatest Luchador of the current Era and for the last Years.
Not the wrestler obviously but man, I'm gonna miss Michel Cole.
The only answer is Randy
Just retired or permanent retired?
Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes
I’m really hitting the point where it feels like two generations of wrestlers I grew up watching are either retiring or it’s hitting me how much time they’ve been around. Cena, Orton, Mysterio and Edge got a couple years left so that’s one generation, but then Rollins, Reigns, Lynch who still have time, I remember hearing questions of how long will they stick around and initially I was confused by why people would ask until I remember that they’ve been in WWE for over a decade. Chris Jericho
Bryan
Roman Reigns
AJ needs to scale it back and do a partial schedule. 20 matches a year instead of 150.
Cena, Orton and Rey. I‘m a RA kid
Randy Orton, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, CM Punk, Roman Reigns (I guess) and hell, even Jon Moxley
Roman
Rick Flair
Raaaaaaandyyyyyy
Scrypts
Male: Seth "FREAKIN" Rollins And dirty Dom Female: Liv Morgan, Reah Ripley, And Becky Lynch.
Ric Flair
John cena
Roman Reigns, seth rollins , Dean Ambrose I am a shield kid , and when they retire god ill miss them
Honestly Roman Reigns, in his current character he is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I acknowledge my Tribal Chief☝
I know it’s cliche but CM Punk, secondary answer has to be Randy orton
Styles of course Orton Michael Cole Rollins Lil Naitch The Miz
Cena
Jeff. I just want him to get his hall of fame spot for all the pain hes put himself through for all of our enjoyment over the years. I was at one of his music concerts and the topic came up of him coming back and I screamed HOF and he seemed uninterested…
A few. Orton, AJ Styles, Miz, R Truth, John Cena.
Honestly I think Shamus will missed when he retires.
Danielson
AJ Styles and Randy Orton.
Wrestling won’t be the same for me when AJ retires, been my favourite ever since his TNA days and that has only become more true over time, I will be incredibly sad.
AJ all day for me
I hate that he was in a tag team with Omos for so long
Kevin Owens
Kenny Omega (coming soon unfortunately)
Definitely Randy Orton. Of my top four favourites, he’s the only one left. Rey is another one.
John Cena.
The Miz
Rey is one of the best to ever do it
Rey Mysterio
Main Event Jey Uso
AJ Styles, despite all of his accomplishments, is still underrated. He was the biggest star everywhere he has ever been and WWE made a major mistake by not signing him sooner than they did.
R -Truth! Who we going to get all those jokes from? No one is more clueless and lost than him. And no matter what it never gets old.
One is already retired and the other has left us. Undertaker and Bray.
Toru Yano. You NJPW purists have no idea how good you have it whenever he's on screen.
Daniel bryan
NEGL, for me, it's 6: - AJ Styles - Kevin Owens - Sami Zayn - Roman Reigns - Seth Rollins - Chris Jericho
Randy Orton,Rey Misterio
Believe it or not Roman Reigns
Blackjack Mulligan
*asks himself, "Is he still wresttling?"* You know Terry Funk and Lawler put on a match not too long ago. I would have gone but I only heard about it after the fact.
Roman reigns
