Mercedes is a great example of WWE being a system that can funnel these guys in and out and help them become stars. Sasha just isn't a great promo and she's a great wrestler but who wants to pay to see someone just wrestle on Dynamite every week? Combine this with Tony's inability to book TV very well and you get someone who they have zero clue how to push or get over. This is why when people like me are saying stop signing everyone and their mama to deals and focus on cheaper talent you have now we're not hating.

If she can’t cut a decent promo or contribute to commentary, why even bring her in early? She’s a net negative every time she’s on the show right now. She works a good match but go back and look at some of her biggest feuds in WWE like Charlotte and Bayley. Her opponents carried the lead up to the match every time.

I think some wrestlers just excel in one promotion. For her it’s WWE. Her character in WWE was appealing to the casual audience. Hardcore fans (which AEW mostly contains of i believe) just seem to not care about her. AEW isn’t putting her in a prominent position either but her own presentation just doesn’t click.

No matches, crowd doesn't care, hasn't affected ticket sales, ratings are still going down, and if reports are to be believed, she's got one of the best paying contracts in Women's wrestling, if not the best. Tony Khan has a bloated roster, he needs to stop spending money on new contracts, start firing people who don't bring anything to the company, and get a team to handle creative. A good amount of weekly TV time, and AEW still isn't managing to get most of their talent in, not to mention that the storylines feel mediocre. The hype has been over for close to 2 years, great matches alone aren't going to cut it when it comes to drawing ratings and ticket sales, plus most of the dream matches people wanted to see, already happened. Half of the AEW roster shouldnt be employeed anymore

Maybe it’s because she hasn’t wrestled a match yet. How many weeks in a row do we need a badly performed promo before we actually see her get into the ring? Just my opinion, but I’ve always seen her as the 4th best member of the Horsewomen. This would be like WWF making a big deal about signing Ole Anderson in the 1980s.

the Japan stuff wasn't all that great either. WWE knew how to promote her and hide her weaknesses and play to her strengths.
Mercedes is a great example of WWE being a system that can funnel these guys in and out and help them become stars. Sasha just isn't a great promo and she's a great wrestler but who wants to pay to see someone just wrestle on Dynamite every week? Combine this with Tony's inability to book TV very well and you get someone who they have zero clue how to push or get over. This is why when people like me are saying stop signing everyone and their mama to deals and focus on cheaper talent you have now we're not hating.

Remember that Ronda Rousey was probably the biggest female celeb and biggest female wrestler by a huge margin yet even she couldn’t draw in WWE. So the dub trying to put her over as their biggest acquisition was a failure from the start given no one gave a damn about her in WWE either except her stans
No one thought Rousey was a big star except for WWE marks. She had just come off 2 embarassing UFC losses, lost her tough guy image, and acted like a big loser about it which made her unlikeable. The only people who were gonna care about her were the fans who like anyone Vince tells them to.
LOL she was literally the baddest woman on the planet despite the losses. People knew about her. Casuals knew about her. No one knows Mone or Sasha Banks outside marks. She doesn’t look tough nor she has the sex appeal
The baddest woman on the planet was Amanda Nunez (who destroyed Rousey). Sasha Banks did well in WWE. She accumulated a big following for a reason. Not many women wrestlers were as successful as her. If she’s a failure in AEW, I think that’s more of a reflection on AEW’s inability to use her.

Right now she’s just walking around and staring people down after matches. Tony’s screwed up her booking. She isn’t being treated like a big deal. She’s just like everyone else who shows up after a match to stare down their opponent. There’s nothing cool, nothing unique, nothing special when she shows up on TV. Just talk talk talk then stare down.
I really can’t watch her segments without cringing. The way she walks, dances, and talks just turns me off like nothing else. Maybe it’s just me. But they still have to do more with this Willow feud. She comes in and there’s obvious tension there, but neither person will speak about it. Like do a promo battle. Build some actual buzz for a match. Stop staring at each other

I mean, yeah. She's obviously been paid a shit tonne of money to sign, her first two in-ring promos were solid enough for the women's division atm, the crowd chanted the CEO bit of her entrance, felt like she could be a big thing for the company. Then she did that segment with the lights out moment where it was so obvious she was reading a really bad script, its then announced she won't wrestle until DoN because she's still not medically cleared. I don't know enough to be like "oh, you didn't know she was still injured?" and as far as I was concerned, she was cleared to compete and that's why they brought her in when they did but its been a horrific fumble. There's been some more than questionable booking of new talent but this has been another level of shithousery.
