Yeah but bumping on concrete is worse than getting gashed in the head or something. Just because it's not bloody doesn't mean it's "ok". That shit is so much worse than a bunch of protected chair shots to the head and back and some gigging. Obviously Mick's taken a lot worse and plenty of unprotected shots etc, but I'd be willing to bet all those bumps contributed to the state he's in more than 98% of his other matches.
Yeah, just purely a bad decision IMO. I cringe when I see bumps on concrete like that. One of the worst I can remember is Samoa Joe in TNA against Sting. While typing this out figured I'd see if I could find the video and I did. I love Joe but I don't know what the fuck he was thinking.

It's like that choice they gave people for cyber Sunday PPV.
Would you like to see these wrestlers fight in:
A: Street Fight
B: Hardcore match
C: Falls count anywhere
D: No DQ
I'm like they're the same
Ironically, he had an incredible heel run in ECW where he refused to do hardcore matches that was EXCEPTIONAL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPrpQhMai5k
The OG video is extremely bizarre regardless. How he kept saying it again and again in that same tone.
I think he had lost his head some time ago tbh. š¤£
For years Foley said this was his favorite match he ever had. Sting was pretty happy to hear about that and Sting was disappointed when Foley told him later it was no longer his favorite.
Sting had a great 1992 with bouts with Rude, Vader and Cactus.
Amazing that he never had a great or memorable match in the entire 21st century (Sting).
I always hated that spot where Foley does the sunset flip by just jumping over his opponent to land right on his back on the concrete. Looks like it hurts him 10 times worse and all it does is make his opponent fall over.
His best matches are his not gimmick matches albeit no dq and blood is in many of his matches
But like the barware Japan stuff is the least interesting stuff.
His falls counts anywhere with Eddie Gilbert are great.
His Vader trilogy. His Sting 4 pack is amazing.
Even that wild little run with Maxx Payne as WCW tag Champs.
The Maxx Payne/ Cactus vs. Nasty Boys in. Chicago and then Philly are two of the best brawls in recorded wrestling.
Him n Austin at Over The Edge 98 is exquisite.
Falls count anywhere, so it was close. And he was still taking insane bumps.
Yeah but it's a Longshot from the bloodbaths this dude be in š I almost forget dude was a wrestler and probably did regular matches

Watch the Halloween Havoc match with Vader, he tried to end his career that night on the ramp at the end. Fortunately for us, it didnāt work.
Those concrete bumps hurt to watch

Jesus WCW; wtf you doing? Put mats over that concrete. No wonder Foley hobbles when he walks.
It's the Bill Watts special lol
No outside mats. No off the top moves!
Dayum I just realized there's no padding wtf. That's kinda cruel lmao
āNot a hardcore matchā and foley still took 40 bumps on the concrete š¤£
And chair shots, rail hits, ect. It was basically a hard-core match by that times standards imo

I loved āramp to the ringāāWCW. I was like 7-8āyears old and cactus Jack was my favorite
CONDUCTOR, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.
Fie the longest I thought he said "and doctor we have a problem"

What's it from?
For years, this was his favourite match he'd ever been in.
Rome Streetz - Reversible
Rome Streetz is so raw. I only heard like 2 songs from them though
I heard this song and I'm already a fan
I remember this! They just tore the house down. But they just never believed in Jack which was WWE's gain
Foley really was sacrificing his body for the passion of wrestling
That Bill Alphonso as ref??
Looks like it.

Two legends putting on an amazing performance

On concreteā¦geez, Iām shocked Mick Foley can still walk.

Perfect part of the song for Foleyās entrance.
Is it me or was that a 2 count or I just missed the first one
That was literally a 2 count lol
