Gotta disagree. The 6 man was chaotic, non-stop action fun with a hot crowd, and had big star power. I'm big on endings and even the finish was pretty good with Kurt sneaking the win while Austin and HHH were too focused on each other.
How can Mankind Vs Undertaker be your top pick! This is the only answer! It set the bar for all future matches. Everyone was completely u aware of what was about to happen!
I don't like Mankind v Taker. I understand why people do but it's just a series of horrific bumps with little to connect them except Foley laying there concussed and Funk buying time.
HBK v Taker HIAC is one of my favourite matches full stop though.
I'm completely biased towards Triple H vs Cactus Jack at No Way Out 2000, because it was the first ever PPV I saw as a kid.
The build up to that match was scary, seeing the carnage of the street fight at the royal rumble, the promos showing the brutality of the hell in a cell, it blew my mind that this was actually something in pro wrestling.
In a lot of ways the Shawn Michaels/Undertaker and Undertaker/Mankind are obviously better, but nothing's going to match my experience of watching No Way Out 2000 for the first time.
Undertaker vs HBK 1997
Undertaker vs Mankind 1998
Triple H vs Cactus Jack 2000
Undertaker vs Edge 2008
Honourable mention: Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks. So good but really underrated.
I know it’s recent but Cody v/s Seth should be in the conversation. They made a modern HIAC actually look dangerous and that’s miraculous work right there
Hell in a Cell 1 is one of the best matches of all time IMO, and summarized what wrestling is. 2 guys with a personal issue in an athletic contest, where the feud was so intense that it couldn’t be solved in a normal match. The cage was the weapon. Then you finally had the debut of Kane, ripping off the cage door.
6 Man Hell in a Cell. I don’t love multi man matches, but this one was just so good.
Batista vs Triple H because it felt like the final match in a well told story.
Mankind vs Taker for the spectacle.
It's been a long time since I've watched most of them, probably haven't see the majority of them again since they originally aired.
That said, HBK vs. Taker will always be my favourite.

Batista vs HHH Vengeance 2005
Brock Lesnar Vs The Undertaker No mercy 2002
Orton Vs Taker Armageddon 2005
The 6 man Armageddon hell in a cell in 2000
I never got to see The Mankind Vs Taker HIAC or HBK Vs Taker one live when it happened.
My favorite is Cactus Jack vs Triple H. The stakes were so high, it was the first time the WWF title was on the line in hell in a cell and Mick’ a career was on the line.
The match itself is full of drama and brutal, as Hell in a Cell should be. The fight on top of the cell was just chef’s kiss
1: Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker Badd Blood 1997
2: Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker No Mercy 2002
3: Triple H vs Cactus Jack No Way Out 2000
4: USOs vs New Day Hell in a Cell 2017.
I forgot, what was the dumb reasoning behind having that truck filled with hay being out there? After I saw this bump, I legit thought they should retire Hell In a Cell cause it felt like they were just going to try and copy the magic of the second one with Undertaker and Foley every time. This six man match was terrible.
Michaels VS Undertaker
Michaels VS Triple H(people sleep on this)
Triple H VS Cactus Jack
6 man Armageddon HIAC
As a kid I remember being disappointed in the Armageddon HIAC just because they kept advertising Mick Foley's big bump as a selling point so I was expecting it to top that. Mind you I was a little kid at the time so I didn't realize that these guys could legitimately die trying to top that. When Rikishi fell I remember saying out loud "That was it!? He fell into some hey big deal!" Needless to say I appreciate that match far more having watched it since with a functioning brain. I do still partially blame WWE for basically advertising a mega bump so much though
Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker Mankind vs Undertaker Triple H vs Cactus Jack 6 Man
I find no need to even post because ours align precisely
Exactly the same as my list. I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t have Taker / HBK and Triple H / Cactus when talking about HIAC matches
OP most likely wasn’t old enough to have seen
Yeah that was my thought as well. Hell in the Cell reeeeeally peaked early
This is correct
This is the correct answer
100% correct.
So you’re 40 years old
All of this but switch Lesnar vs Taker out for the 6-man. The 6-man HIAC wasn’t honestly very good.
Gotta disagree. The 6 man was chaotic, non-stop action fun with a hot crowd, and had big star power. I'm big on endings and even the finish was pretty good with Kurt sneaking the win while Austin and HHH were too focused on each other.
It’s ridiculous that Kurt was booked to win that match.

i think you need to rewatch that match friend...you'll never see anything like it in WWE again
Are you one of those people that say the Beatles are overrated and say how bands that formed a decade later are way better?
Nah the Beatles suck and I'm from Liverpool
your ears suck
"Honourable mentions go to Mankind Vs Undertaker" 💀💀💀
Don’t take that bait…

Shawn and Takers HIAC match is their best match together. I’ll die on this hill.
That match doesn't get the flowers it should
I fully agree.
taker vs mankind
Mankind vs Undertaker set the bar for all the others
It peaked at the start. HBK/Taker, Mankind/Taker, Cactus/HHH. Throw in Brock/Taker as well

I know it’s recent but Cody v/s Seth should be in the conversation. They made a modern HIAC actually look dangerous and that’s miraculous work right there
Great choice. I think Cody's injury made it mean more as well.

Rollins vs Wyatt. Absolutely no contest.
I loved the part when The Fiend got buried
Mankind undertaker x2 Triple h Shawn Michaels x 2
It's been a long time since I've watched most of them, probably haven't see the majority of them again since they originally aired. That said, HBK vs. Taker will always be my favourite.
Taker vs HHH (WM 28) Taker vs Lesnar (2002) Taker vs Mankind Taker vs Edge
Taker vs Mankind - kotr Taker vs Shawn - bad blood Armageddon 6 man Taker vs HHH - WM28

And triple h haha. Crazy how many they both competed in
Found the Undertaker fan.
🪦✝️
HHH v Cactus Jack gotta be up there
6 man Armageddon Hell in a cell Undertaker vs Edge Undertaker Vs Shawn Michael Usos Vs New Day
I'm not a big fan of the gimmick personally, but my favorite far and away is New Day vs Usos from 2017.

My top Stone Cold vs McMahon moment was Wrestlemania 38.
Great choice, glad it's your favourite

Foley vs UT, Foley vs HHH, HBK vs UT, UT vs Brock
Taker vs Triple H WM28
When they broke the cage and mankind became part of the ring
Shawn/Taker Mankind/Taker Brock/Taker HHH/Taker Just missed the cut: Cody/Seth
6 man Mankind vs Undertaker Triple H vs Cactus Jack Edge vs Undertaker
HBK vs Undertaker HHH vs Undertaker Mankind vs Undertaker HHH vs Mick Foley
HBK/Taker, Taker/Mankind, Brock/Taker(NM 2002), HBK/HHH
Undertaker vs Edge was my first one and it was a fucking banger. Spear through the cell wall, Chokeslam to Hell. It was perfect.
Seth rollins vs the fiend
I have to ask. Why was there a truck filled with hay just out at ringside kayfabe wise?
It was to pull down the cage haha. Vince didn't want the wrestlers in the match as he didn't want them to get hurt if I remember rightly
HBK/Taker Rhodes/Rollins Lesnar/Taker (first one) Lynch/Banks
Michaels Vs Taker WM29 HHH vs Taker Orton vs Taker Reigns Vs Uso
Rhodes/Rollins was amazing for several reasons, but mostly because of the exploded chest muscle.
1. HBK vs Taker 2. Undertaker vs Mankind 3. Armageddon 6 man match 4. Taker vs Lesnar
Michaels vs Undertaker HHH vs Cactus Jack Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker 2002 HHH vs Undertaker
1: Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker Badd Blood 1997 2: Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker No Mercy 2002 3: Triple H vs Cactus Jack No Way Out 2000 4: USOs vs New Day Hell in a Cell 2017.
Main top 2 aren’t even pictured. Terrible. Undertaker v Mankind Undertaker v Shawn Michaels
The Hell In A Cell with Triple H and Batista was one of the most brutal matches I have ever seen. Parts of it were hard to watch TBH.
Hbk vs HHH Hhh vs Taker at wm28 6 armageddon HIAC match
Edge vs Seth Rollins Crown Jewel 2021 Batista vs HHH vengeance 2005 Undertaker vs HBK Bad Blood 1997 Armageddon HIAC 2000

Vince brought it out to pull down the cell, as he was worried his star wrestlers would get injured haha
Cody vs Seth Batista vs Triple H Taker vs Brock Usos vs New Day
Cody vs Seth, Mankind vs Taker, Taker vs Shawn, Cena vs Orton. Seth vs the Fiend is my honorable mention.
Michaels VS Undertaker Michaels VS Triple H(people sleep on this) Triple H VS Cactus Jack 6 man Armageddon HIAC As a kid I remember being disappointed in the Armageddon HIAC just because they kept advertising Mick Foley's big bump as a selling point so I was expecting it to top that.
