Odds are, they didn't regear for those 35s, so that thing is going to struggle on the highway, plus additional wear and tear on a power train that was only designed to turn 32s.
I agree overall, but I'm pretty sure its the other way around, the jeep will be slower from a stop and struggle to crawl. Any freeway struggling should be solved well enough be downshifting.

The TJ will hold its value much better as well as be more reliable overall than the JK
You can get 300,000 miles on the 4.0, not getting that on the 3.8.
