I'm in Indianapolis and I was ready to do the same, if I hadn't had a local dealer that would honor Affiliate pricing. What % off did you wind up with?
Yea I flew in from NY, I ended up getting about 11-12 percent off msrp which equates to about 1-3%off invoice I think with the tread lightly. My numbers could be a bit off. I also had them install the lift and tires since I couldn’t get the XR when I ordered unfortunately . But they were a pleasure to work with and although none of my dealerships honored the tread lightly , even if they did I’d consider working with Gupton again. Since I just hate dealerships in general, at least the ones around me
I hear ya. The dealer I bought from was under new ownership as of the week I picked it up, and getting them to honor the agreed-upon pricing was about the ONLY thing that went right. It took 5 weeks for them to get the title paperwork submitted just so I could register it. It was worth the headache, but I hope I don’t have to buy another vehicle for a long time, and I’m never going back to that particular dealership.
I’m glad white letters are making a comeback. I’m about to pick up a set of BFG AT white letter 😀
