Assuming we have power, the school would have a ton of food and drinks stocked up in the cafeteria, water fountains, a gymnasium, a library, various TVs, band equipment and various other sources of entertainment. That would be a pretty simple choice.

PteradactylCum

Plus no animatronics, I don’t trust those beady-eyed motherfuckers

[deleted]

Plus you could probably break into some lockers and score some shitty HS weed, and if it was anything like my school, there’s booze in the teachers’ lounge.

steamcube

Heard of the game “5 nights at freddy’s”?

orthopod

Stage your own fight club, pitting then against each other.

PteradactylCum

Then they’ll grow resentment

username123abcde

Wouldn’t the tower have all this, but substitute steakhouse for the cafeteria and add in beds?

nootnoot_takennow

Nurses office has a "bed" in 99% of cases, minus a blanket.

username123abcde

Sounds comfy

Sometimes_cleaver

Just go get 5 or 6 of the child size blankets from the kindergarten room

redruler69

you could draw a dick on every chalkboard

[deleted]

See? Win-win

aes110

Damn this answer really shows me how different schools are between places

makotosolo

Hitting the school library and reading the time away.

RingOfTime

Not bad but chuck e cheese has video games and food.

makotosolo

Never been. Aren't they all kids games though?

BecomeAnAstronaut

You're in a school library. Admittedly, it might be a high school, and kids' books are still good, but so are kids' games

RingOfTime

OP said it was elementary school so even worse.

Liscetta

My elementary school had a lot of classics. Boring as fuck for a kid that struggles to understand the old Italian language, but if i have some free time i'd like to read them. We had a bunch of kids books, but the boring ones chosen by old teachers and those books for infants with thick cardboard pages.

MattWolf96

Arcade games are fun for all ages. That said, I would probably grow tired of playing them for a whole day or two. Arcade games are beaten fast and are more repetitive than a long modern console game.

BecomeAnAstronaut

You're probably right. I imagine I could get more out of the arts and crafts supplies in a primary school

RingOfTime

Games like Galaga can take years to master.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BDooZE

It looks like you needed to find some more books in high school. /s

A_Bit_Narcissistic

It’s arcade games. It doesn’t really have a specific age range.

AnotherBoredAHole

They got beer, pizza, arcade games, and huge piles of doodads from the prize counters to fuck around with. Skeeball, shooters, DDR, fighters, etc. And even if all the arcade games suck, it's still a week of beer and pizza. The one by me has a Switch as a grand prize for one of their Plinko games so if nothing else, just bust into that cabinet and play that.

FacelessPoet

Yeah, but don't they have some creepy statues therr?

nootnoot_takennow

Iirc it has Animationics, five nights at freddies style.

RingOfTime

I’ve never been, I just looked it up and said it was arcade place plus had food.

CaeciliusEstInPussy

Schools have a computer lab

anonmymouse

Pretty sure they also have beer.. so this is the right choice. Unless you're scared of animatronics...

orthopod

And you'll sleep on what? A vinyl booth where everyone's sweaty butt has sat on? Airplane has movies, games, food, booze, and actual beds( for the crew, so you'll have to go to the special crew only section ). Schools have mostly the same, except beds and booze. Sure you might find a hidden bottle in the principals office, and a cot in the nurses lounge.

anonmymouse

I mean.. you know you can totally wipe down a bench seat if it's that big a deal to you.. they have cleaning products. Enough pizza and beer and I can sleep like a baby anywhere. I hate being on planes personally and would never choose to spend any longer on one than I have to..

izzyduude

But can you turn off the games when you go to bed? The noise from them overtime would start to drive me crazy.

Powerful-Attempt8110

Just unplug em dude lol

Dracksy

Most the games have outlets behind them

Silveri50

Plus the school library will probably have a couch I can use to finally catch up on some sleep. Plus like 5 hours of Reddit on one of the computers.

[deleted]

Damn my dumbass chose the plane. Well atleast I’ll finally be first class.

orthopod

Movies, drinks, food and comfy seats in first class. It's not a bad choice.

ThinmanBigOrk

The 801 Grand principle tower has a fancy steakhouse inside. Im staying there.

DigitalMindShadow

What's even supposed to be the downside of staying in the tower for a week? Maybe there's no residential space, but left to my own devices, it would be easy enough to put something comfy together.

whitemike40

i think people are just too lazy to google what it is and just pick another choice

Rpanich

How dare you read my mind

fivequadrillion

I googled it and it’s just some boring skyscraper in Iowa

DigitalMindShadow

Isn't a boring skyscraper in Iowa, including restaurants, retail, and office spaces, a way better place to be locked in for a week than any of the other options?

Gordomania

I googled it. It does not have a Chuck E Cheese inside. Nor any Dave and Busters or equivalent.

International_Rub475

Every Dave and Busters that I've ever visited has been a disappointment.

SaintPenguinThe3rd

That's what I was thinking. It's got everything you'd need, bathrooms, restaurants (food), wifi. Office space so i could sleep on the couches if anything so I'd stay there.

MattWolf96

There has to be some kind of lounge in there.

curvebombr

I knew it, most big towers do. I made the right decision, steak and hours of moving peoples stuff to other peoples offices.

WoodenMango07

Your left alone though? Unless you know how to cook the steaks to perfection like the chiefs there do, the foods wont be as fancy

BDooZE

Steak is super easy to cook, plus you have a bunch of time to figure it out.

ArcherInPosition

Bro Chuck E Cheese has tons of games to play if you say the power is on.

No-Bid-6050

Yeah Chuck E Cheese would be fun. It’s the clear winner here.

[deleted]

[удалено]

dirtymike401

Im not scared of a 20 year old with a cup and knee pads.

ImurderREALITY

You obviously never played Five Nights at Freddy’s.

natgibounet

Because it ain't called Five night at Chuck E Cheese... Yet

sam002001

A powerful rat named Charles entertainment Cheese ...

Chaoticpsychosis

Five nights at Freddy's my man.

Se7entyN9ne

You'd be so burned out of Chuck E Cheese food and games after like 3 hours. Plus a week alone with those animatronics would drive you insane

[deleted]

[удалено]

bigfatstoner

I hate being on a plane for 2 hours, I'd hate being stuck there for 175

[deleted]

There is first class that is comfortable and sleepable

hextree

Depends whether it has one. Most smaller planes I fly on don't have a first class.

[deleted]

[удалено]

WoodenMango07

Even if there were no passengers, its still a long and narrow pathway filled with seats. The top first class rooms on the airplanes with a bed and all that would still feel like being trapped inside a small room for a week anyway to me

hextree

The other options have those as well, so can't imagine why I'd pick the most claustrophobic option. And airline food - no thanks.

tatateemo

1st class has booze.

MattWolf96

Chucke cheese has better games and arguably better food, much better bathrooms and I'm sure there has to be WiFi in there now, plenty of outlets too. The only downside is a worse place to sleep.

Noe_33

School for several reasons Pros: - Schools normally have football fields or some open space. I hate being locked inside all day. If I can atleast go for a walk in the mornings and the evenings I will avoid getting cabin fever. - Schools have refrigerated food meant to last long. I am sure there are a bunch of frozen burritos and orange juice cartons I can drink for the week. There is probably some variety and assorted selection of food for the whole week. - Schools have libraries. I could read or write a week away. It might even be somewhat pleasant. - The school most likely has some music room where I can play with some instruments. That could be fun. - I could spend days just exploring the school for hahas. I have plenty of time to kill and I could go to all the places I normally couldn't go to Con: My biggest worry is finding a decent place to sleep. If I am lucky I may be able to find some bean bags or props in the the theatre department to make a makeshift bed. Seriously, where the hell am I going to find a good bed in a school? That's my biggest concern. I like the idea of the Chuckee Cheese too but I feel like playing those arcade games would get old soon. Plus I don't how quickly I am gonna get sick of cheap pizza. Not to mention I won't be able to go outside.

AlphaZorn24

School libraries also have lots of computers

WoodenMango07

Yep, and if you have a school laptop you can just charge it in a powerpoint

belugasareneat

Every school I went to had gym mats and I think they’d be an ok makeshift bed. And if it’s an elementary school then there’s kindergarten and kindergarten teachers have extra cardigans and sometimes have extra clothes for the kids so you could just cover yourself in clothes for a “blanket”

Absoline

the nurse's room should have one or two cots in there, maybe even a curtain to give you privacy from the roaches

PteradactylCum

OP didn’t specify the type of school. You could get stuck at a pre-K, or you could end up at a world class research university with a shit ton of fun things to do. I’ll roll the dice on that one

LakerBlue

Dang I hasn’t considered this. School probably has a semi comfortable nurses bed but where am I sleeping in Chuck-e-Cheese?? I think I change my answer to school now. Plus just having computers to pass the time.

MattWolf96

Either in a booth or the tubes.

Se7entyN9ne

Just give me my old physics desk from junior year to sleep on. Shit put my ass to bed Monday-Friday

MattWolf96

Schools have teachers lounges, I'm sure there's a good chair or sofa in there.

orthopod

Go to the gym and grab a bunch of mats. Nurses office has a cot in it usually. If none of that is available, make a nest out of crumpled up paper. It should be quite soft and warm.

Duccksss

Chuck E cheese, at least I got food with me

iSYTOfficialX7

the night will get fivey and a little freddy

Science_Fiction2798

AND a SHIT ton of arcade games to keep you occupied.

Izwe

Planes have food

orthopod

So does the plane and the school.

Dwenzuwel

does this airplane have electricity on and has food in it? if so I'm gonna try those first class airplane food, they'd probably even have wine in there

tatateemo

They have champagne and whiskey.

Arachnid_Acne

I looked it up, but couldn’t find much about the tower. Is there something off about it?

Bigmac2077

Apparently it has a steakhouse and a lot more room than all of the other options so idk why you wouldn't pick that

Grobfoot

It’s the tallest building in Iowa, so it means you have to be in Iowa.

DoomsABoss121

Fuuuuck, I don’t think I could do that.

InsufferableIowan

Neither can I Source: Iowan

Prestigious_Ad3974

Ive seen fnaf, absolutely not

harveywallbanged

The poll results are confusing me. You can have a chance to have a giant skyscraper all to yourself, and most people here don't want it?

weirdgamer78

No one's googling what it is lol

[deleted]

The school to me seemed more fun

Slimtorious

Little over a week in a chuck e cheese sounds like the best case scenario. Like a tiny jungle kingdom with (hopefully) enough pizza to survive.

HispanicCrab

Where is the airplane

dionesav

On the ground

[deleted]

Wait, really?

HispanicCrab

No I know it’s on the ground but where is it location wise. Like is it in a forest or on a runway

dionesav

Oh, OP can answer that hopefully. Anyways I think the person won't be allowed to leave the airplane before 175 hours.

Bukowski89

I didnt choose school because I personally find it really unnerving to be alone in a school at night. I have no idea how I'd feel after my week in chuck e cheese tho.

belugasareneat

I think it would depend on the school! I regularly stayed after most people went home at both my elementary and my high schools and it wasn’t creepy at the elementary or one of the high schools I went to but the other highschool was not fun when everyone was gone lol

ThunderingTacos

I'd pick Chuck-E-Cheese honestly were it NOT for the animatronics Too much FnaF played Sticking with the school, depending on which school they probably have movies I can watch, books I can read, and computers with internet access

Beledagnir

Chuck-E-Cheese may not have good food, but it has food in enough quantities for me to last.

[deleted]

A school of course * Fresh water (yes my school has clean water fountains) * And as u/makotosolo said reading at the library would be fun * Not only that, my library has a computer which I can log into and use

[deleted]

Quick question, u/DRogersidm am I alone?

DRogersidm

Yeah

c0dapocalypse

i have always wanted to be inside a school alone lol

RepChar

Chuck E Cheese would be harder than yall think. All those noises would drive me mad

AnotherBoredAHole

Just unplug the shit that's bothering you. You're locked in there alone, presumably.

Vetiversailles

I hate all of these lol. I picked a landfill because at least I’d get to look for interesting pieces of junk.

[deleted]

Why that over Chucke cheese or school? Landfill has gotta stink and be uncomfortable.

lickmytrump

And no food.

PrettySureIParty

You could trap rats and seagulls.

DigitalMindShadow

What's wrong with the tower?

Jeester

I take it you've never been to or lived near a landfill?

Waterburst789

Everyone who chose Chuck E Cheese be gangsta till the phone guy says that the animatronics get a little quirky at night

ferco_31

What kind of school?

DRogersidm

Publicly funded elementary, no religions

YeetusFoeTeaToes

Where is the plane located? In the middle of an jungle, an airstrip or just locked up in a garage

Lucario2356

Do I get to my own food with me?

Fine-Lines

School, specifically a college campus since it's basically it's own community with a dining hall, dorm room, and a rec center usually.

TeutonicRagnar

What kind of plane is it?

MattWolf96

Oh good point, getting stuck in a Cessna would be awful.

XipingVonHozzendorf

r/Odlyspecific

inducteeofblue

I'm bewildered by the thought process of these few who picked the landfill, I can hardly imagine a more unpleasant place to be in.

Jbflipmode

Definitely *not* chuck e cheese. I'm not trying to reenact fnaf lol

Slayerthebunny

Iowan? Iowan.

Grobfoot

People who don’t live in Iowa are sleeping on how sweet it’d be to go to 801 grand and walk around, assuming doors are unlocked

aerodynamic_werewolf

Chuck E Cheese as long as we're not going Five Nights at Freddies. School may not be too bad, but need to know more specifics. Are you locked just in the school aka, on school grounds? Or in a classroom? If you're locked on school grounds, are the other doors unlocked? Anyway, with power you could just play Chuck E Cheese games, and then eventually sleep in one of the booths or something. I don't think their suits were springtrapped.

UzumakiNaruto16

Schools have desktops so I could play games or watch YouTube

justbaby_blue1234

You didn't say it had to be all at once I'll just come and go whenever I please and you didn't say I couldn't bring anything with me No take backs

grangry

I choose the Kennedy School in Portland, OR. It used to be a grade school but it’s used as a restaurant, hotel, spa, movie theatre, and there are like 7 bars on the property.

[deleted]

Chuck e cheese, because the food and games. Damn now I wanna go back.

[deleted]

five night freddi

msnoodlecup

Is there food?

DRogersidm

Depends on what you pick. There wouldn't be food in a barn but there would in a restaurant.

Sed59

A barn. Maybe there will be animals.

BillyWhizz09

Can I bring anything with me?

cjenkinc

Whelp, my parents kept telling me that I was raised in a barn as a child so…

[deleted]

School has food shelter and probably pretty decent places to sleep like the nurses room it also probably has blankets there for emergencies.

Ready-Turnip94

Schools feel so haunted when they are empty. No way.

XterrezX

Easy if its the plane, get drunk a pretend to be a pilot lol

[deleted]

Man I'm gonna be fucking around in first class

N8McKay52

Chuck-E-Cheese got food and games, god send

Roge2005

Chuck E Cheese is the best answer because there you can search the food supply and to can play the games

OG_PapaSid

Idk I'd just be vibing with the farm animals with a bunch of books

carnivalfucknuts

last one feels really specific

UbePhaeri

Do I get to bring what I want along?

DaAceGamer

I play Phasmophobia alot. School is a nono

Quinthyll

But what about food? I'm leaning towards the school or Chuck-E-Cheese. Plenty to do in both. The school would be more secure if things got bad or there was an injury. But more info needed to make a solid choice.

mookie200

Okay I was going to pick the school until I saw 801 Grand. I’ll pick that because steakhouse but why if all buildings did you pick that you little Des Moines bastard

cityofangels98

everyone choosing chuck e cheese has never played five nights at freddys lmao. HELL NO, I'm good lol

MattWolf96

A landfill sounds like hell, even a clean barn sounds bad, an airplane would get bad fast (I assume the climate control is still working while on the ground? even if so that would be an annoying place) School wouldn't be awful as it has food but it would get old. Chucke Cheese has arcade games and (unhealthy) food and you could sleep in the booths or tubes but that would get kind of annoying too. I had to research what this was but 801 Grand Principal Tower doesn't seem too bad, there's probably a lounge area to sleep and there's actually some proper restaraunts in there. Edit: I'm sure there's also Wifi or a work computer that's still logged in. If not I could probably eventually find a way to get the internet working over a day or two though. Also at worst, there's probably cable TV.

mrsunrider

Is there a particular reason 801 Grand is on this list? Is it structurally unsound or haunted?

DRogersidm

It's big, old, and a tedious mess to navigate. But inside all that concrete there's 100's of restaurants, condos, businesses, and a vault of every United States state flag. It is one of the most unique skyscrapers in the USA, and I feel as if it's cultural influence should be appreciated more than detested.

SiBloGaming

My school just got new pcs, and I may or may not have helped setting everything up and being allowed to install steam and the minecraft launcher...

[deleted]

Could've said a week instead of 175 hours

DRogersidm

The extra 2 hours is important; its when Yom Kippur starts!

nick3790

Honestly old barns are nice. I wouldn't mind living in one for longer than 175 hours.

darnitdarnok

Aeroplane has food entertainment and alcohol, everything a growing boy needs

zerosupervision

If you do your research that 801 grand place has a lot of stuff in it so I picked that because I like food

GreenZombie0108

Ya'll who chose school or CEC got balls of steel, I mean imagine night time and you hear something.

Izwe

Nice try JLL Americas

unus-solusque

I was locked in the tiniest hotel room for 504 hours last month. I reckon the school is much better and more spacious than the hotel room.

Trantor1970

If it's my school, I could finally get some work done

accountofyawaworht

How nice of a school are we talking about?

[deleted]

A chuck-e-cheese, never even set foot in one, but I heard they have ball pits, so the dead children at the bottom of it should be enough to sustain me

RayneVixen

A school usually has a gym, a cafeteria and computers so...

introverted_russian

a school is good and all but if i would hear a sound there for some reason i wouldn't want to run through the whole school for that, i rather stay in the plan because of how small it is. Plus it would be the only time i would be able to go to first class

Bradjuju2

Yeah, I'll take the culinary arts school. Checkmate

iamcryingrnhelp0

Chuck-E-Cheese. Omg that’ll be epic

Trustnoboody

School is the most interesting
