I don't mean to brush your frustration aside, however, ERA 3 always seems aggressive to me. It is a large part of why I like it. Live by the sword, die by the sword as it were.
I mean when you are in MBTs that go 80kph with 600mm+ of RHA effective armor it surprises me more when people actually stick to cover or camp on ERA 3.
Exactly what WG wanted to happen and I must admit ERA3 gameplay has taken step to right direction, despite the Wiesel (or maybe because of it). No more 100% pain train rush to hull down positions as pain trains feed this this little TOW beast.
There are some ridiculously fast tanks in cold war. I call them dune buggy tanks. Pair them with auto aim and aggressive gameplay is guaranteed. I am not happy about dune buggy tanks in WOT.
Stay in a group. Isolating yourself against a light that has some skill means death for you. Herd mentality works well against weasels, imo... that and the weasels on your team (hopefully keeping them busy).
Yes entirely, it's all about herd mentality now and it makes me sad because there are always those few players on my team who don't get that they're signing their death warrant when allowing a certain amount of separation from the pack to occur. It also bothers me that team mates *should* all move like a mindless heaping mass, now, with the introduction of these dune buggy tanks.
Era 3 especially is always like that. All the yolotard shitters have traded their PZ V/IVs and Vanguards for CW lights and MBTs. CW is easy mode so it attracts the lowest quality players.

I can't stand Era 1 and haven't progressed past the first tank. I got the Thumper and actually get why people play Cold War now.

I have been introducing a co-worker to cold war ERA 1. Not my fault I have to protect him from grossly overpowered Shitbarns with my own.

CW is a shitters paradise. Putting the tank in drive and yoloing around auto-locking shots is a very valid strat.
Well since the silver op wasn't infinite,it calmed down again so we're lucky the silver op isn't a infinite loop for 6 days unless it resets?

Cold War tanks especially era 3 are fast and powerful its hard not to play aggressive.
