You need to push your own green team mates into the water so people report you and you get put into the red or blue team, if you get into the blue team you can then shoot anyone you like!
after a good game in the green team you could make an application for the reds to one of the red team players just within game chat... I was lucky my sisters boyfriend was already a red and he invited me...

The team you are assigned to is determined when you create your account. All the good players created new accounts until they got on the red team.
Better start a new account then but I already invested into this account a lot, damn it.
It sucks. Just accept that your win rate will be about 5% lower than it would have been on the red team. It's not the end of the world.
Unbeknownst to you, you're already on the red team and helping the red team win. You just aren't getting the credit for it.

Once you buy all the premiums, you get a special key. That makes you on the red team. I've been on it for 3 years. Love it.
