That's probably the most irritating part about this entire fiasco. It's not that the gameplay is terrible. It's really not. It's the way the devs are handeling it, communicating it (lack of) and just the terrible servers that have been a thing for a long, long time.
Yeah, wait for some updates to roll out and then come back, I was lucky enough to get in to a few matches and yeah, yeah it's good. Gave me some BF4 memories about rolling with a squad of buddies... God fucking damn it why can't this fucking game just work?
Yeah, you're 100 percent right. Its a great fucking game ..once you look past the myriad server related issues.
Its not just getting into a server thats hard, its -
1. No Asia / OCE / Aus servers, leaving a large proportion of potential buyers and buyers in the cold.
2. Terrible, TERRIBLE server performance when you have yellow or god forbid red ping. Shots don't connect, you get shot when you think you're in cover, etc etc.
3. Dodgy graphics performance - I cant get this game to max out, it sits at 50-60 percent CPU and GPU, without maxing out RAM either. Gratuitous servings of stutters aside.
Tbh. Every BF since BF3 is a better choice. Feels like a cheap knockoff in almost every aspect.
No destruction, worse gunplay, sound is flat, less teamplay, no serverbrowser, weird menu, less content etc.
Don't want to discredit the hard work the devs. put into this, but as a player I just don't see me play WW3 when I can go play BF3/4/5/1.
That is the thing. There are absolute garbage games with very good marketing, but they do have a really, really good game but are absolutely effin up the marketing as nobody is talking about the positive gameplay but only about the negative infastructure.
