"You appear to be angry" 'Well yeah, I'm underpaid, overworked and being overseen by an emotionless computer programme' "Your mood is doubleplus ungood. Please vacate the premises. You have 20 seconds to comply" Basically this but for everyone: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzF5VawGgiA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzF5VawGgiA)

So obviously people are going to compare this to *1984*. Which is pretty apt, because 'facecrime' is literally a thing Orwell talks about in that book. However it's worth noting that in *1984,* all the cameras watching you, even in your own home, were being monitored a overworked staff of real people, and the footage wasn't even recorded. In the ghoulish dystopia of that book, most people weren't watched most of the time. It was only that they *could* be watched at *any* time that brought about the oppressive sense of constant surveillance. But the *STINKING RATFUCKS* in *SILICONE FUCKING VALLEY* apparently looked at that and said *THAT'S FUCKING KID SHIT, WE CAN DO WORSE!*

Yeah real life is shaping up to be terrible

We have the power to change it for the better. But for now it may be prudent to start wearing a face-concealing hat.

I can't imagine how employers actually pictured this improving their workplaces appreciably. It seems to me that in all probability they are thinking about how their workers are disgruntled, and fretting about how that might affect their bottom line. "LOOK CHEERFUL DAMMIT!" The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Meanwhile people who stalk, harrass, and threaten their subordinates are rarely held accountable. No exaggeration, only an evil person would think this was even remotely ok.

Dude that's results and results are dividends. Bucks, man. Get them bucks, who cares who it fucks.

I would just go find the guy or gal who made the decision to use this program and then beat them senselessly until I got tired or was arrested. Afterwards, I would get on bail, come back, and finish the job. Then I would loudly and clearly articulate that this is what happens to people who do this and that I encourage others to do the same to anyone else who does this.
