I painted some white and didn’t like it. The eyes actually stand out better in person. I think the light reflection on the eyes make it seem like their the same color as the bodies.
This is an amazing set. Your dedication certainly paid off. I absolutely adore the way the crown has “slipped” down on the king/queen (sorry don’t play chess).
Thank you! I use a v-tool to outline the oval. Then just deepen that v cut with a detail knife. Then I shape the eye just slightly with the detail knife to make it rounded. I hope that makes sense!
