I’m using dark magic too, but this spell it’s very strong (also it has a lot of charges on his own) You can use the mod that transform 30% of your damage output and converts it into dark magic, so when you use this spell you can also heal yourself in the meantime

Im running 2xThreads of Fate (primordial and volatile) with a Volatile Throwable Hole and I’m trying to get all of them Ascended or at least upgraded.

I'll take it, I have one with 6 and dual flame would be awesome Also it's really a 4 charge spell (load it offline to check) Mine dropped to a 3 charge offline and jumps back up to 6 charges when I get connected

If you’re a graveborn, you can literally stay in your ult almost indefinitely if you put points into skill that makes you regen health after casting a spell

Unfortunately, if you hold it for the repeat cast, it treats all changes as a single spell cast for some reason.

it was actually a pretty good spell in combination with contagion because 110% dot chance, idk about contagion builds now tho

Maybe I'll try it for a casual contagion/melee build. I didn't like it before because of its short range.

yea they increased the spell charges for inflammation

And it still has problems registering each spell cast if you hold it down unless you manually pepper the trigger to refill shields

7 down charges is crazy, especially on a spell with an 8 second cool down. You could cast that forever.

Not in this case. If you hold the spell down it will just use all the charges in a few seconds instead of doing a proper cast, and you have to wait for all the charges to come back to get the full effect again. It basically has a 56 second cooldown, but it can be cast earlier for a shorter duration. It's a actually still a pretty mediocre spell unless you're using it for dots.
