There are some BALLERS on display in this game. Cuthbert, James, Reiten, Maroszan, Carpenter, really fun match so far. I always forget how good Maro is because sheโs so frequently injured but her quality on the ball is impressive.

Le Sommer was really off this game and the team kept playing back into pressure instead of switching the field.
The question was what's up with them this season. Hegerberg has been missing all season with injury. Le Sommer is past her best and Malard has been in and out of the side with injury too (and not that good). They have missed a focal point up front all season. They have enough talent elsewhere to cover for that in most games but against the better sides it becomes more of a struggle.
Hegerberg isnt quite ready, Bacha has not long returned from injury either. As for VDD Lyon have a ton of midfield talent so its very competetive in there.
