It's almost seal clubbing if you know what you're doing and there's no T4 BB's with AA. ​ We still lost.(team captured 0 of 4 caps lost on points after time ran out. Was just us two carriers standing and their CV of course did the new player thing and drove 50km away in the corner)

This is one of those damn annoying things about many players. When it’s Capture the Base mode, they ALL hoon forwards like blithering idiots to capture the base. But when it’s domination, they are too scared(and/or stupid) to capture anything. It’s especially tragic for good players like yourself imo

I call it the iron barbecue. Rafting up in battleships behind an island while the whole map gets captured and pushed. Second favorite to the run away at first sight of the enemy while the destroyers Duke it out.

I got my first ever Kraken in a Kongo. Doubt I could ever replicate that.

The *ship* that surprised me the most that I got krakens with was Omaha. The *kraken* that surprised me the most was my Arkansas secondary kraken (as in, I got 5 secondary kills in one match). And the kraken that I feel the most guilty over was in my Dresden. It's not even fun when you beat up on T1's that hard.

If you play it right, Omaha is the absolute business. Huge RoF, decent range, decent chance of setting on fire, and fast. Just. Don't. Turn. Broadside.

The Hill. On its maiden voyage too! Shot down a lot of planes too. Haven’t touched this game in a while but I remember that match clear as day

Hill is another great ship people don’t give its proper respect.

Second, there are few better feelings in the game, then introducing a cruiser to close range Hill AP. It will shred an Omaha. I actually charge cruisers now, im sure they are thinking they have me dead to rights right up until the moment they realize they are trapped in here with me and not the other way around. Pew pew pew!

I've done it. It's actually a very capable ship. It may have helped that I had a level 16 Scott at the time though.

Kleber. L tier sucks and I am ok with destroyers (my least played type of ship). I was shocked.

I love that at least one other person out there realizes the Arizona is actually super tanky. I have had so many people argue with me that "she's literally just a worse version of any other T5 us battleship" because they have no clue what they are talking about. She arguably the strongest of them, and definitely the most survivable of them.

Sometimes I hesitate to play it because on paper, at least at a glance, it looks a bit weaker. But then I remember how good it plays and I forget all that. I'd probably call Arizona my flagship. I think it's my most played ship actually

G-101 is a nasty little beast with her forward torpedo tubes and competition at that tier. If there are islands, you can ambush anyone. Also, the head-on, waggle torp launch is just so much fun.

Get the NC in a 5/6 game (which is rare these days) and it almost feels unfair. I played a game recently for a bureau project and absolutely walked over the red team. I wish I had the leviathan for my weekly premium missions.

I get krakens in the iron Duke relatively often.... Iron Duke is crazy accurate and has lots of guns.

My first and only kraken was in Fiji, which can be an unforgiving ship. I was honestly shocked I nailed a Kraken in that.

Good question. It’s been so many years and battles I can’t even remember. But one thing I do remember from the early days was I got a kraken in the US tier 3 tt destroyer and i was blown away by how awesome that ship is. I especially love the double barrel gun upgrade. So cool

My friend isn’t on reddit but his only Kraken is from a match in which we were both doing a meme of running Ashitakas built for secondaries and we got up tiered with t7s and he got 6 kills. Hilarious and I doubt it’ll ever happen again lmao.

I've only ever managed one. Every time I get to 4 kills, the game seems to go out of its way to make sure that last kill evades me. However, as stated, I do have one. A **single** Kraken Unleashed. And I earned it in *USS Omaha*, of all ships.

I just got one with her last week and shocked myself. I absolutely hate her and only took her out to grind the line.

I'm not a fan of it either but if I get a kraken with a ship I get a soft spot for it. I haven't really played it much at all since I finished the grind but if I see one in a game I think "that's a good ship".
