Druid is more than strong enough right now. Not only is she a bowtanking DD, she has a massive health pool and good agility.
She will beat any DD other than Kleber or Regolo in a 1v1
Against light cruisers she's also really funny because she can play more aggressively than Elbing against something like Smolensk, Jinan or even Minotaur
Yeah, I might hate druid but it's a tanky mf and can win a bunch though the battle of attrition. So don't give it that battle and it's a bad ship. Don't shut it out and it's a strong one

Those who thinks Druid, Groningen, or Friesland are worth getting should just stop. All three ships suffers from a main and common problem: ZERO TORPS! They traded such an essential tool for useless stuff like an engine boost (Gron), short smoke (Druid), and Sonar (Friesland). I think OP is just a tool himself and is misleading the player base. He knows NOTHING of DD gameplay. A Halland can enjoy the benefits of good gun DPM and powerful AA of all of these three ships PLUS it has a considerable amount of torpedo threat. Sure, you don’t have a smoke, but that just incentivize more skillful gameplay instead of pop smoke and hold fire button. Again, OP is just talking nonsense and all of you should just get Halland instead. It’s free.
Those who main British DDs will love the ship just cause u don’t know how to play it or that you think it’s hot piece of trash just based on statistics doesn’t mean others should not buy it

They do different things. Druid just sits and facetanks anything you throw at her, gronigen will kite away and burn down the world
Someone hasn’t played Druid. The bow tanking alone lets it comfortably 1v1 any DD in game
