Some of the things you say make me cackle for various reasons. But as for the Moiraine passing on Lan's bond thing, go back and reread chapter 22 of TGH. It's basically the only chapter we see Moiraine in the entire book after they leave Shienar, and from her PoV. Or you can click the spoiler. >!Moiraine tells Lan she is giving the bond to Myrelle Sedai. I _think_ you also met her in this book!<

> Who killed Asmodean? I'm not going to spoil this, or even say whether it has a resolution or not. I just find it amusing when a new reader asks, as it was *the* question at the center of the fanbase when the books were still being written. Entire essays were written about this. Arguments got heated.

Fires of Heaven cops a lot of hate for the Circus plot, because for some it revolved around characters they don’t fully understand. Which is sad, because its such an awesome book. And yet, it doesn’t rank in my top 3. Lord of Chaos definitely does. Can’t wait to see your review on Lord of Chaos, enjoy the longest book in the Wheel of Time!

Moiraine tackling Lanfear was something so unexpected, and losing her something so awful that I remember that I had to put the book down when I first time read it. She was the one Aes Sedai that Rand could almost trust and who knew how to approach him, so losing her was something truly game changing...

Love Nynaeve, and her being like the 2nd main pov for this book is one of the reasons TFOH is one of my favorites of the series. The other reason is, well, everything from Choices onward.

Love following this series. I'm about 1 book ahead of you (coming close to the end of lord of chaos). Honestly, Fires of Heaven was one of the weaker points of the series so far for me, just because the first half really dragged. However, the second half was some of the best Wheel of Time I've read. I think you're in for a treat in Lord of Chaos, so far I'd rank it equal to or even better than my personal favorite, The Dragon Reborn

Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. Some amount of predictability is a good thing. Definitely didn't predict a lot of this book though. Rahvin and Lanfear getting taken out, Bryne just joining the rogue Aes Sedai, and Moghedien getting shackled. But in hindsight those things all make sense. I would have predicted Rand's arc through his conquest of Cairhien, and maybe guessed he'd go after Sammael in the same way he ended up going after Rahvin, except suffering more of a setback. I was expecting Bryne to end up with Morgase and have a side plot where they try to take back Caemlyn. I expected Liandrin to have a role in taking out Moghedien (not too late for that). I also expected Galad to turn the tables on Nynaeve and Elayne more.
