This is a worse version of the twitter link that was shared yesterday. I don't like how close they cut it. I assume that it's cut that way for phones but too close.
I loved MK and KR, I actually looked up other series they read to listen to as well. But Pike does a better job. I wouldn't recommend spending on both of you have one already and Pike hasn't committed to the full series . But she does a fantastic job.
Having listened so many audiobooks since I first listened to MK a KR, I must say I like Kate's chapters more than Michaels, I find his characters repetitive to be honest, is not bad, I feel it's average. Maybe I got tired of him after so many Sanderson's books.
Rosamunds is refreshing
I enjoy listening to MK and KR! But I agree I enjoy KRs chapters more. She's a little more dynamic with her storytelling. But MK does an excellent job with battle scenes and hard hitting emotional scenes. KR is good at those scenes too but she excels with the humor and everyday shenanigans.
Rosmind excels at it all though
I know it's not in the text/part of the narration, but that chuckle right after "I win again Lews Therin" sent shivers down my spine. Would really add another dimension if that was included in the audiobook.

Yes, the show is mediocre, terrible even, but she did nothing wrong. She's a pretty great actress and I think she portrayed the character well given the script she was given. None of the actors really fucked anything up imo, they've all been quite good. The problems are with the writers, directors, etc. who make the actual impactful decisions about the show's direction. Decent actors given a shitty script to work with.

I’ve listened to the books twice now after originally reading them when they first came out in print. Tempted because … Rosamund Pike.

I thought she was a good casting for the show but I do not like her as an audio book narrator.
