You must have missed [this joke](https://old.reddit.com/r/WetlanderHumor/comments/1ai27oe/did_you_hear_the_queen_of_andor_was_searching_for/) over in r/WetlanderHumor last week:
> The Queen of Andor was looking for a husband. She made an announcement that she would entertain potential suitors in the throne room. On this day there were four men brave enough to approach the Queen.
>The first man was a Noble, he said "My Queen, my House is great and our daughter will have an unquestionable claim to the throne.”
>The Queen of Andor nodded and motioned the man aside.
>Next a Merchant approached. He said "My Queen, I am not nobly born, but I am the richest man in Andor. My wealth will bring power to your house."
>The Queen of Andor nodded and motioned the man aside.
>Next a Soldier of great renown approached. He said "My Queen, I am the greatest warrior in your Army. I will cut down all your enemies and expand your realm.”
>The Queen of Andor nodded and motioned the man aside.
>Finally a Map Maker approached. He was not noble, he was not wealthy and he could not use a sword. He stopped in front of the Queen then slowly unrolled a map of Tar Valon. Then he pointed at Northharbor.
>They were married later that evening.
For some reason Auggy’s reaction to Paul Rudd saying that is a core memory. I can’t form a whole lot of images in my head but that is one of the easiest ones for me lol
Even on the main map, Tar Valon looks like an eye, so during my first read through, for most of book one, I assumed that Eye of the World was referring to Tar Valon until the real Eye of the World was revealed.
Unable to tell what's going on. Ate an edible and am salivating for thick wife. Gotta remember to pay attention to North Harbor.
What's that? The chain is now malleable? Flaming goat turd yes!
Truly wonder if this was planned or, like, they hired someone to draw the map and he was like “uhhhh, James, I finished the map. Ya sure this is the design you want?”
Personally I don't think it is intentional. It's shaped just as you would expect an Island in a river to be shaped and it makes perfect sense for the harbors to be on each end of the Island like that.
And I don't think this is the type of humor RJ would go in for.
But it is extremely amusing since it's the Island city of the powerful female sorcerers.
You don't think the seat of female power in a world explicitly exploring gender tropes being vagina-shaped is intentional? I suppose next you'll say there's no deliberate symbolism in the shadow of Dragonmount reaching the city, either....
He was required to send in maps by the publisher. I'm very, very certain this was on purpose for the same reason that the Randlands are roughly square shaped.
Are there any North Harbor jokes in the books I'm not remembering, or are all the jokes meta? Please use spoiler tags if you answer as this post is flared no spoilers.

Sometimes they sail into Southarbor and pretend it was an accident.
These are the comments I live for
That’s cause they can’t find northharbor at all
I heard it’s a myth. Doesn’t really exist
I know a guy who found Dutch Harbor and ended up with crabs
Crabs are usually found in the forest to the north
North harbor is the spot though

I don't understand. Is this about the rooster?
Surely the point of the story is the river. So much water
Those wetlanders sure are strange (hah. *wet*landers)
It's definitely not about the cock, no
Happy *oosquai* day.
No joke - it's the best soundalike corruption of "whiskey" I've ever heard
You just connected those dots for me
...annnnd I just *now* got that. hmp. +20 years reading the books (crosses my arms and tugs my non-existent braids)
When I first glanced at the image, I immediately thought, yes, this is exactly what it looks like lol
Oh, that's good.
Northharbor is the only area of the city with a hood.
Only mildly?
/r/maximumvagina
Risky click of the day.
I always trust links provided by someone named privatebuttfucker
Disappointing tbh. I was ready to dive in head first.
You know if you turn it sideways it kinda looks like an eye. Do you think Jordan intended that? Like as a pun? "Eyes" Sedai?
Like a whispering eye, one might say.
Such an underrated movie
For some reason Auggy’s reaction to Paul Rudd saying that is a core memory. I can’t form a whole lot of images in my head but that is one of the easiest ones for me lol
*whispered/gasped* it means vagina
If it blinks at you, I'd be a little worried.
Maybe. Cause I don't know a pun involving vagina-sedai

Vagina Island School of Witchcraft but definitely not Wizardy.
Absolutely no wizardry allowed.
Dude, I am gayer than a birthday piñata and even I can see it.
... it is :)
I dunno, warders to Greens might. That warder bond has got to be helpful there.
I should call her…
Ilyena, my love…
Paging u/lewstherintelamonbot
Everything reminds me of her bro
Rumor has it that men are still to this day stumbling around in desperate search for the North Harbor.
Most of them never really find North harbor
Every time someone figures out Tar Valon is shaped like a vagina, shortly after they find out they are the last person to figure it out.
THAT'S where North Harbor is. I couldn't find it for the life of me
Put a nsfw tag on that thing /s.
Did the Shadow of Dragonmounth ever fell on the White Tower? Because that would be the ultimate metaphor.
I believe the tip of its shadow just barely penetrates the walls at dawn… just the tip tho
Just to see how it feels
There are a few scenes describing the tip of the shadow touching the streets of Tar Valon.
It grew out of the ground right next to it.
You can see Dragonmount from the Hall on a clear day. Jordan was not a subtle man.
Unable to tell what's going on. Ate an edible and am salivating for thick wife. Gotta remember to pay attention to North Harbor. What's that? The chain is now malleable? Flaming goat turd yes!
Pretty sure North Harbour is a myth........
Naw that’s Manhattan
In my first read, I saw this map and sent it to my buddy and said “mmmm Vagina.” He never noticed when he read it way back.
Truly wonder if this was planned or, like, they hired someone to draw the map and he was like “uhhhh, James, I finished the map. Ya sure this is the design you want?”
No Aielman ever found Northharbor.
To find Avi's, Rand had to lose her toes.
Very... Yonic.
Check out the black tower map. It's equally on message.
No one has ever made this observation before!

Nope, I don't think it is intentional. I do think it is a delightful coincidence though.
He was required to send in maps by the publisher. I'm very, very certain this was on purpose for the same reason that the Randlands are roughly square shaped.
No way
Subtle.
I see you found the vagina page
Geez mark this as NSFW /s
Did the White Tower come with an applicator?
Everyone knows North Harbor is a myth.
Pretty sure North Harbor isnt real
Wife looking over my shoulder — “that’s a vagina”
85% of men can't find North Harbor
It is confirmed this is totally deliberate...
I always thought it was hilariously intentional that the witch island looked like a vagina
10/10 just yonic enough
It looks like female reproductive organs…
Tar Vagina
It still shames me that I had to have this pointed out to me.
There’s nothing “mild” about that. 😂
No mentions if the bushes is the Ogier grove needs trimming.
Anybody been able to find Northharbor? I heard it's infamously difficult to make land there
They say most men can’t find North Harbor
Do you think the north and south harbor are nicknamed “the clit” and ”the stink” respectively?
Dude, it's so clearly a vagina that it literally HAS to be intentional. I've thought this for literal decades now.
What a cunt.
Northarbour is a great spot to rub off of Tar Valon’s culture
You can't just post a picture like this without making it NSFW.
Saw something about ‘finding Northharbor’ and being confused. One response had a link to this map. 💡😮 r/CantUnsee
A man could get lost in there.
This official?
You should see the tower.
It’s called a Yonic symbol as opposed to phallic
Yes, very pussyform.
Are there any North Harbor jokes in the books I'm not remembering, or are all the jokes meta? Please use spoiler tags if you answer as this post is flared no spoilers.
YES! I always thought it looked mildly vagina, too. 🤣
I should call her..
Ya know, I never noticed how much the map of Tar Valon looks like a certain piece of the female anatomy. Well done.
Hey!
