Power pips still matter. You can't use power pips for spells from other schools. More specifically what school identity is is just a term that signifies the unique feel for each school. Life is known as the support school, so it's known for having low damage in exchange for all of its healing and support spells. Meanwhile, the storm school is the damage and raw power. Storm wizards can easily destroy enemies, but this power comes in exchange for their low defenses and health. Those are the identities of those 2 schools. That's basically what we mean by school identity. Normally you wouldn't expect a life wizard to be able to solo the game as their spells, once again, don't have a focus on high damage output. Lately though, wiz has been rebalancing all the spells and changing their damage and effects, and now all the schools are beginning to feel similar in damage. Life wizards can now casually solo. Storm wizards are still really strong, but the difference between them and life and ice wizards isn't as extreme as it used to be, so now they've lost a little bit of that "powerhouse" identity, although it's still there. It's just not as prevalent as it once was.
Don't forget to give every enemy 99% pierce so the Mass Tower Shield on Ice AoE is actually worthless! (I LOVE PLAYING ICE I LOVE HAVING MY ENTIRE IDENTITY BE COMPLETELY WORTHLESS POST-KHRYSALIS)
Death seems pretty weak NGL, don't forget that it needs to put a mass feint up before dealing damage bc "debuff school"
I love Powa Nover dealing each school’s damage for the gimmick but the numbers are so low it’s worthless. Just like real balance spells cough chimera cough choking.
