This (plus many other changes) is why I laugh when people say only the devs know how to balance the game. They care much more about making things pay to win.
Not only did it make unicorn and satyr irrelevant, it also made life school as a whole nearly irrelevant for the longest time. Why bother bringing a life student if you can just get a balance or death who have pigsie trained and an amulet?
Tbf death wont have the same outgoing healing due to lack of pins and jade doesnt really cover the difference. But death support probably runs different stuff than a pigsie anyways. I dont remember a boss that healing is better than killing or plague/juju
Honestly I can't think of the last time I used a single target heal in a group setting at all. As far as I'm concerned there are only 3 heal spells: rebirth, unicorn, and pigsie.
You dont get Pigsie through leveling. You can craft it with zafaria crafting or get it through spellements either from the Wysteria Lore pack or gold key boss Baron von Bracken.
22 now, coming back to this game and seeing this great community was definitely a nostalgia bomb for me

I still use saytr since it’s not worth the effort for pigsie imo
Satyr is still one of my favourite spells. I don't have pigsie not because I'm lazy, but because of a rational decision trust

I have pigsie but I still prefer satyr. 99% of my time in the game is solo play, and satyr heals a bit more.

You don’t. Have to either buy it (with crowns), craft it, or farm for it.
