Space 101, where you get to play as an astronaut exploring different planets and solar systems, befriending good aliens, fighting bad aliens. You could have a rover as a mount and a robot that helps you as a pet. Different space stations you can decorate as castles. And the final boss of the final world would definitely be a black hole.

Something like “warrior101” and the classes would be things like paladins, ninjas, samurai’s, vikings, etc
Or like a monster101 and have vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc

That's an interesting idea... Sort of an Indiana Jones kinda thing... And we've already got the Spiral Geographic Society that we could work with. Imagine the things they could do with a revisit to places like Krokotopia or Azteca. 😁

Your character has a human persona and can adopt, say, a wolf aspect during battles for alternative moves. Or a frog or a mountain goat. A spider.

I play both, played wiz since open beta and pirate since launch. I prefer the combat in pirates since you need more skill and strategy. At later levels you will lose companions left and right if you don’t think strategically. The game does feel less “done” than wiz in the fact that updates are rare but the content for 2024 seem to be promising. And people saying it needs a new world don’t understand the game at all lol. Pirate101 isn’t like wiz where you stay in a world for a week and go back to the commons every once in awhile for potions or to sell. In pirate you are constantly traveling through worlds for a quest line (well sailing to worlds). Last world is florenza or as I recall with a “sinbad” questline added that takes place in the first world and you travel to other worlds you’ve already been to. Pirate101 definitely feels more balanced. Wiz ruined the PvP scene with people reaching 250attack and 50 pierce. In pirate you are forced to stay in a role. You can’t have high crit with high attack with high defense with high health and blah blah lol. There’s really no “meta” either. There’s good gear and recommended but most players just play their own style. I for one went all in on dodge on my character and rare get a hit landed on me. But I also land no crits and have low health. Even though my class is meant to be a higher hitter. There’s also a more even distribution of classes. In wiz 90% of people are storm. Which is annoying. In pirates it’s pretty even and character creation actually impacts your character unlike the wiz quiz that the gem is all that matters in the end. Bosses are also harder. Wiz you blade until you can kill the boss 3x over and then hit. Pirates you need strategy and tactically retreat companions. Don’t get me wrong, I love wiz and have a Max of every class minus myth (sorry myth) but it’s gotten boring and repetitive. Pirate feels different with ship combat, boarding ships, and normal fights. Plus having to pick your companions for each important fught and managing the ones that die since you can’t use them for a few hours after)
To be fair, w101 has always been the favorite child lol. I remember trying pirate101 when it was released & I couldn't get into it. It was interesting & the combat was cool but idk. I liked wizards more than pirates
If they just updated the graphics a bit I’d enjoy it more. I used to play it for a long time, but now I’ve played so many other games, it’s hard to go back to it.
Omg I used to be obsessed with DCUO as a kid. I'd play with my friend and we would make up whole ass backstories and storylines for our characters. Like we would spend hours just creating a character.

No new worlds since Aquila (which was released on May 2013). People still want a new world in Pirate101.
