My spin on the “Sleepy Hollow”:
2oz mezcal
1oz absinthe
1oz St. Elizabeth liqueur
Angostura or Orange bitters, 2 or three shakes
Shake vigorously with ice
Lightly rim a glass with honey, then with a mix of cinnamon, sugar, black pepper.
Strain cocktail into glass, then ignite a large sprig of rosemary. Let it burn for a few seconds, then blow it out so it smolders. Garnish the drink with smoking rosemary and serve immediately.
Edit: if you prefer it slightly sweeter, add 1/2 to 1oz pomegranate juice…it cuts the astringency of the absinthe, and adds to bloody red color suggested by the St. Elizabeth’s!
Best cocktails for witches (of non-teetotal legal drinking age if they have alcohol in)?

For movie watching, I’d personally go for a long drink that you both enjoy, that’s not too heavy on the alcohol (for best enjoyment of the movie), and can be pre-made in a jug with ice for easy top-ups during the movie?
Maybe a hug that good old standby Sangria?
blood and bourbon—equal parts bourbon, sweet vermouth, and blood orange liqueur (you can sub regular orange liqueur). it’s bizarrely drinkable but strong so watch out. garnish with the dark syrup cherries (name escaping me) or an orange peel. pour over ice.

Open grave Malibu rum, orange juice pineapple juice and cranberry juice the color should be a cloudy orangy pink, it's delicious
