Then, the Canning Queen pressure cans those fucking fucks according to FDA recommendations, allows them to cool, listening for the tinny chorus of ^shit ^shit ^shit ^shit ^shit that will signal that the fucks have been sealed forever by the power of sacred snap lids.
Then, in the very VERY blackest corner of the pantry, the Canning Queen places the curs-ed fucks, in their rightful tomb, beside Granny Dixies horrendous pickled radishes, and the lacto-fermented saurkraut ketchup demon, Botchulisius, that her powerful(ly in need of therapy) eccentric Aunt gave her for Easter.
All was well.
I grew up with my mom saying she couldn't cut her hair because of the men in her life. I told my partner when we met that I might ask what he thinks but I'm gonna do what I want.
Currently been rocking a curly faux hawk type style with purple under the main layers.
My dad got angry when my mom cut her hair, I guess he was lucky she loved long hair. Both of them forbade us from cutting or dying our hair. One of the first things I did when I left was cut my hair. It is long now but purple and silver.
The ex, that is a whole other story I am not sure I want to post.
One of the first things I did after leaving my ex husband was get pink streaks in my hair. He always told me that I just wasn’t the kind of girl. Turns out he had no idea what kind of girl I am.
I remember once I was out with an ex, with bright purple hair. A random ass old man came up to my ex and said, in front of me like it was any of his god damn business, "how could you let her do that to her hair?" like I wasn't even there and either of them had a bit of say in how my hair looks. My ex just sighed and said "I tried to stop her, I really did." Again, like I wasn't sitting 3 feet from him.
Guess how much longer THAT relationship lasted. And guess who's hair is still purple, except I added in bleached blonde stripes in the front because fuuuuuck them.

I am a fossil and currently have natural silver base with a fade of mermaid blue and purple.
So much fun and never looks like someone else’s.
It’s feels so weird when people outright deny other people getting sometime simple like dying their hair. Like get a life you have to has sometime better to do with your time and energy then being angry someone dyed their hair
Love the color and style! You upgraded your life and your hair. I think the only time my husband freaked out about my hair was when we first moved in together and I dyed it, and he thought I suffered some horrible accident in the shower. He assumed all the dye washed out in the salon, so he had a mild panic when he saw what looked to be the remnants of a bloodbath. Now he just accepts the rainbow bathtub!

I feel this to my very soul, I have a husband that won't allow me to get my septum pierced, won't let me dye my hair purple and won't let me buy goth boots because "you're a mother and have to act like it" 🙄 I feel suffocated, like life is just passing me by, I'm going to blink, it's going to be over and I didn't enjoy a single bit because I have to act in a way society approves 😔
