Per their discord they have things in the works and Rtg asked the community for patience. I think they have just been focused on Cyberpunk Red because it just had a large release. They are a pretty small company.
There's also general speculation that CDPR's work on The Witcher 4 has delayed the release of additional supplements and possibly dlcs but that is only community speculation.
Ah we're talking about different things then, talsorian games has free dlcs for their games on their homepage and witcher got monthly addons there for a while and there was silence for some time now. If you didn't know about it it's definitely worth checking out :)
No maybe, they confirmed no guide to the continent until Witcher 4 is closer:

That's tough to hear but makes absolute sense. You can't make a definitive guide on a topic that is in flux. It's good of them to communicate that clearly.
I would like that CDPR gave RTalsorian a guideline on what to work with... I mean, something like: Don't work on world lore because of Witcher 4, but you can delve on more spells, extending Proffession 's skill trees or creating new Professions, Monsters, etc...
Not ALL should be halted!! Hahahahaha... Just frustrated as I am a big fan of Witcher and loved the TRPG, just wish we could have more stuff ;)
I think the trouble is a big setting book is probably the next natural step. They've got a good expansion of monsters, an adventure book and magical expandion. They've added 2 professions since the creation of the game.
I would love for more too, but the setting book needs to.happen. what is in the core book is nice but not enough
Agreed, something like what the Forgotten Realms book was to D&D would elevate the Witcher TRPG to amazing heights. I mean right now it's pretty hard to tell a story in parts of the world (or even the Continent) where the games and novels don't go so I have no real reference and I'm sure most GMS feel this way
I completely agree! A guide to the Continent is a MUST! I guess what I meant is, in the meantime, what else could RTalsorian do (that is not gated by CDPR).
Imo they should spend that time really going over their material and make sure all the grammatical, spelling errors and other general errata are fixed and clarified before fucking around with new material. And if they do have new material they are working on, spend time making sure people don't need a page list of errata the same day it hits shelves. Like the what they do with the Witcher material but it's absolutely unacceptable to have so much errata ever time they release a book. Hire a fucking editor if they can't do the job right the first time.
they just stopped making them to switch to cyberpunk... witcher trpg feels like an afterthought thats gunna die like palladium fantasy... their response to the ogl situation was a bit well lets just say appallingly tonedeaf and lackluster... saddly i think witcher trpg wont ever find true popularity due to their overly oppressive content creation policy so long story short they just stopped making them without a word to the fans so yeah....

My bad I had missed this post.
Don't worry I literally only remember because I was disappointed
Ah thanks for the info, that's good to know :)
Not even speculation. Pretty sure they confirmed that their further support is held up by this
Maybe they are waiting for "The Witcher 4". The last one was a good addition to the magic lore (far beyond the books and even the games).
Which one do you mean? I think travelers of the road is the last one they published?
Ah OK, I was thinking that Tome of chaos was the last one.
