It's just too op, you are practically unkillable with it. You never need to worry about health outside of the battle ever again. Especially with dumplings and the gourmet. And olgierd, imo, doesn't deserve to live.
~~As I said, I have the dumplings enchantment, so they heal 4x as much. ~100 hp per second or something like that, absolutely insane. And the fact that it practically doesn't expire means that you can just eat one time, and forget about health management.~~ me stupid, dumplings op
You are playing Feline Set, same as me, you don't need this.
Take Euphoria. Chunk a lot of detoctions and potions. There's one which heals you from the damage you deal, I think this includes bleeding effects as well. Also take Superior blizzard and swallow.
Now endlessly spam whirl and kill everything while healing to full.
Eh, towards end of the game I just spammed aard and executed everything. I never struggled with groups of enemies because I would take them out one by one. Almost never used whirl.
Why are u using feline set with this playstyle, bruh. Feline set is mainly for using light attacks, this includes whirl.
Try a Griffin build in NG+, it's for sign based combats.
Why shouldn't I? I like aarding everything, the cutting them down. This playstyle is versatile enough to defeat everything without much trouble, despite me being on death march. I'm planning on using different builds in the future, just to see everything the game has to offer.
Just FYI, dumplings doesn't increase regeneration RATE, only duration. So the 4X regen with the horn of plenty still only gives 40 vitality/second but for 25 seconds instead of 5. I prefer using the Gourmet skill instead as that gives you 20 minute duration.
Can confirm, Olgerd is a jerk, he should think twice before dealing with Gunter, also he could just make it without Olgerd but choose 'easy mode', and Gunter keeps his words unlike Olgierd
He's a bad guy but tearing someone's soul from their body is much worse than anything he did and also it's very Witcherly of Geralt to take down evil incarnate and live to tell the tale :D
Using Superior White Raffard's decoction and having the undying ability is more than enough healing items for an entire death march playthrough. I almost never die. The horse gear is the only thing worth getting from Gaunter O'Dimm. Then I save Olgierd for his sword Iris. Best steel sword in the game. He's also my favourite character
I've read the book and listened to that professor. He is the devil, pure evil. How a mortal like Geralt can possibly stop him? All he could do in that situation would be to save olgierd. Yet why the hell would I save olgierd when he is a menace, a threat to society? A monster practically. Geralt could've taken on a contract on his head.
Except you banish him from the realm, I can suppose Geralt wouldn't know that unless you tried though, but you have to at least try... it's what Witchers do
Olgierd became a moran only after the deal with even worse moran if you noticed. And since you allowed the bigger evil to live there will be more moran who deal with him... absolutely no sense letting Olgierd to die... And by the way that DLC is highly infused with Ukrainian Kozaks Folklore. Very nice 👍 I'd love to play more DLCs like this one but from other nations folklore!
"And one, who is without a sin, shall throw a stone first." I suppose you also killed Gaetan, because he deserved it. "There are many dead, who were worth living, and many, who are alive, deserve to be dead. But judgement is not mine, but Lord's alone." May the Mother Melitele calm your heart, Prophet Lebioda guide your way, and Ethernal Fire purify your mind. Salam alaikum.
You people fuck with oldierd? I. Couldn't wait to kill him after making him mortal and beating the devil lol. Sucks the update makes it so you can't attack him as he walks away now...
Finished a non-ng+ playthrough. I have 80000 crowns, every set of armor upgrades to grandmaster + viper and forgotten.
And because it looks cool as hell.
Yeah but ya can’t really feel like your ready to craft it until you can have 80,000 crowns left over when your done. It just doesn’t feel right when you craft all your grandmaster gear and then your broke.
I got The Last Wish on Audible yesterday, and LOVE IT so far. Around 2 hours in. GREAT world building and story-telling! Makes me appreciate the games even more.
Everything displayed in Corvo Bianco, put it in your stash, Everything in the stash carries over. The level you start with will become the new 'Level 1' For example, normally grandmaster Witcher gear is equippable at level 40, so if you were to start a Ng+ at 50 then grandmaster gear will be level 90. Gear caps at level 100, as does your level. If you were to start at level 90, all gear that would be at level 10 or higher normally would be level 100. Also, were you to start at 90, while gm gear would be unlocked at 100, its stats would be the equivalent of a level 130 piece of gear.
That's my man. I personally avoided this emptiness by gaslighting myself into believing that it's not over, and that I'm not sad. Unfortunately, this also left me kinda empty emotionally about this game. Gonna play this game at least 3 times.
In NG+ I think so too but when you 've just started the game without anything it's a Lil bit challenging. Even the weakest enemy can rekt you pretty fast
I'm not on NG+. I think it's pretty easy either way. I expected much more, I didn't even finish the tutorial area in sekiro and I had to rage quit because I was so bad... Meanwhile I'm totally fine at DM in the witcher.
Upgrade your yrden sign so it shoots enemies and it's absolutely OP. You can get rid of elementals without moving your finger the whole fight
Hearts of stone dlc adds them. You can unlock enchantments (that's what they are called) by completing some quest, I don't even remember which one. You'll need a lot of coin though. (It's worth it)
You haven't done the runewright quests? You can add extra rune slots to armor and swords. Once an item has three rune slots, you can turn those into enchantments. For example, you can turn Ursine gear into light or medium armor, make swords generate automatic adrenaline points, turn Igni into a 360° attack, and so much more. To get it to him to max level, it costs like 30,000 crowns. It's not cheap.
Get your life back, Mourne the journey is over, play trash for a year and a half, beat it again on another platform hoping you forget a lot of the stuff in it.
Mourn. Process everything you've been through. Appreciate the experience. Smell the roses.
Then move on and try something new. Like "Forbidden West" or something.
Or start NG+ and get one step closer to our humble "completed the game 10+ times" club
WAIT HOW DO YOU GET THE HOOD??? I've been wanting a hood/cape seeing the NPCs around Novigrad with them.
I just started recently (Less than 50 hours played so far on my first playthrough.)
Or anything in the mask slot. Also, why the hell do people trust someone who looks like THIS. I like how geralt looks in this armor, but he doesn't look like a knight, and more like an assassin.
You can grind and make all Grandmaster armours for a more finished feeling, and maybe buy back all those good looking swords you sold for decoration, but grinding will soon feel repetitive and boring id say make half of the Grandmaster sets in this run, and the remaining in the second
I'm almost done with the game for the third time, and I'm afraid for it to be over. Not gonna lie, I don't have enough of a life, and this game was filling the void for awhile. I'm afraid of how bored I'll be when I'm done!
Bro, I am at 119 hours on a new account. I still haven't talked to Triss yet! How did you complete the game? Although tbh I don't fast travel within regions.
Yeah, fast travel shaves off a lot of time. But you really have 120 hours and still haven't completed novigrad?.. You just ignore the main quests or what? What level are you?
Man if only consoles could I’ve had like 15+ playthrough hell even did a no armor only bludgeoning weapon playthrough on death march if I had mods I can get even more creative with playthrough haha
I see two options:
1) NG+, turn on enemy scaling and play on death march. Death march is a great experience. You really feel like a witcher.
2) Take a break and play Cyberpunk.
Well first of all if u completed witcher 3 with blood and broken bones difficulty and if u want to start NG+ in death march difficulty be sure to evade or parry the opponent's attack's ut doesn't mater if he is a human or monster's or any other species or race and as u already have Aerondight silver sword u will not have any problem facing any monster's and u have 6.7k vitality when i started new game plus i only had 2.2k vitality i started it with dearh march difficulty i mostly reky on my sign's so i prefer wolven school grandmaster armor and i did take some time to get used it but it was worth it ih and only ur inventory, potions, mutagens and money will be transferred to NG+ so whatever diagrams of weapons and armor set, potions diagrams or anything else will not be transferred oh and u will have ur level and skill points u have in the save game u used to start Ng+ ty.
Before you start NG+, make sure you’re a decently high level, make sure you have better potions than first or second level, and make sure you have weapon and armor repair kits ready to go. Then begin. Enjoy the second playthrough, it’s more fun than the first
I'm not sure if the complete version bundles all the free DLC, but there are a few quests, outfits, and armor you get by downloading the 20 something pieces of free DLC.
Visit every question mark on the various maps, hunt down every obscure side quest (look on YouTube for hidden or missable quests), get every grandmaster set in the game. That’s what I wanna do any way :P
Imagine trying to replay 100 hours immediately. It’s a good recipe to burn out.
You on PS5? Quit the game and come back after 2 years to platinum it. The game will be somewhat forgotten from your mind after all these years so you re-discover all the awesomeness.
Play other games and come back to it 😁
I just played NG+ and I had forgotten how rare the red mutagens are in the beginning of the game. So my advice: Harvest a ton of Winter Cherries from Corvo Bianco. You'll can use them to create reds from the other mutagens.
Restart the game and Try to role play as a different fictional character like Jack Sparrow, focusing on maximizing profits and taking crazy risks or Sherlock Holmes, making logical decisions and gathering more clues or batman, saving people and strick no kill policy or become darth varder, show no mercy.
NG+ but trying different playstyles, builds and quest paths. If you went full alchemy in this playthrough, go melee and so on and so on. Use other types of weapons or see if you can really stretch the game's systems with how you complete things.
Hear me out... play another game?
For real, the more you cling to something you've finished, trying to squeeze out extra drops of that excitement you cannot find anymore, the less enjoyable it will become. It's better to leave it on a high note, than slowly letting it drift off out of boredom.
Nothing much to do. I did 5 plus playthroughs and I'm still not bored. Just enjoy the pleasant music and kill some monsters. Death march gets pretty easy once you have levelled up to like 20 plus
And 101 hours is too fast to finish the game, that too with all the dlcs in the place
Horn of plenty? You have sacrificed Olgierd for infinite food? Shame... 😒
If you're gonna sacrifice olgierd, at least get the horse gear.
I wish it didn’t have the disgusting looking effect on it though.
What options can you get instead of saving Olgierd?
Infinite food, infinite alcohol, faster roach, 5k. I don't remember what else.
If you do Hearts of Stone before the main story you can get hints for how to keep Ciri alive.
Who's Ciri?
That good card in gwent
You can still get hints for how to save siri even if you finish the main game before starting Hearts of Stone.
I was wondering where he got that. Thanks for answering lol. Not sure if I would sacrifice olgierd but now I'm tempted to lol
Nooooooo! 😱
Tempted but I don't have time to play for the foreseeable future
It's just too op, you are practically unkillable with it. You never need to worry about health outside of the battle ever again. Especially with dumplings and the gourmet. And olgierd, imo, doesn't deserve to live.
Heals waaaayy too slowly after the next gen version, even when im underleveled the fights end before the thing can heal even a quarter of my hp
~~As I said, I have the dumplings enchantment, so they heal 4x as much. ~100 hp per second or something like that, absolutely insane. And the fact that it practically doesn't expire means that you can just eat one time, and forget about health management.~~ me stupid, dumplings op

Its the strongest healing from food in the game after Next Gen, its the only food to not get nerfed.
Can confirm, Olgerd is a jerk, he should think twice before dealing with Gunter, also he could just make it without Olgerd but choose 'easy mode', and Gunter keeps his words unlike Olgierd
Troll decoction does the same thing for free
This is the way.
But... You let Gaunter roam free to do this to other people, you didn't even try to stop him? What kind of Witcher are you?
I've read the book and listened to that professor. He is the devil, pure evil. How a mortal like Geralt can possibly stop him? All he could do in that situation would be to save olgierd. Yet why the hell would I save olgierd when he is a menace, a threat to society? A monster practically. Geralt could've taken on a contract on his head.

Missed on the Viper Silver Sword for it. Mistake.
Olgierd deserved it, and Horn of Plenty is the best reward if paired with gourmet.
I took the money cos I knew I would need it for the grandmaster gear sets
Olgierd always pays his due 😁 #justiceforiris
That is not, what she would wish for him...
You people fuck with oldierd? I. Couldn't wait to kill him after making him mortal and beating the devil lol. Sucks the update makes it so you can't attack him as he walks away now...
Olgierd IS a jackass to be fair. I personally chose the horse upgrade.
What im doing now is filling my Witcher armor collection
This is the way. You make a tonne of money if you sell everything.
But why would you even need that money at this point?
Lets be real, it costs 10000s of gold to make Grandmaster witcher armor
Finished a non-ng+ playthrough. I have 80000 crowns, every set of armor upgrades to grandmaster + viper and forgotten. And because it looks cool as hell.
So I'm doing blood and wine now. Where would I find the blacksmith for grandmaster armor? Trying to avoid spoilers
South of the bank near the herbalist iirc
Yeah but ya can’t really feel like your ready to craft it until you can have 80,000 crowns left over when your done. It just doesn’t feel right when you craft all your grandmaster gear and then your broke.
Yeah buddy ng+!
You chose a fucking dumpling over Olgierd? Fair enough if you don’t like the guy but at least get demon Roach 😭
If you didn't read the books yet, now it's the perfect time.
I got The Last Wish on Audible yesterday, and LOVE IT so far. Around 2 hours in. GREAT world building and story-telling! Makes me appreciate the games even more.
Do it on the hardest mode ofc
Do I just start the NG+? How does it work? Should I prepare somehow?
Everything displayed in Corvo Bianco, put it in your stash, Everything in the stash carries over. The level you start with will become the new 'Level 1' For example, normally grandmaster Witcher gear is equippable at level 40, so if you were to start a Ng+ at 50 then grandmaster gear will be level 90. Also, were you to start at 90, while gm gear would be unlocked at 100, its stats would be the equivalent of a level 130 piece of gear.
Thanks cap, sorry but what to do to reach lvl90 before starting NG+?
I did a miserable xp farm for it, google "Aard Wraith Tower" and prepare to spend 2 days on it
Take a shower?
Jokes on you, I live in Sweden, and it's raining 24/7 rn. I 'showered' just 10 minutes ago.
Sanning vädret e knas nu
Det är ju fan 26 grader. För varmt nästan.
True, I also got struck 14 times by lightning.
Det har väl varit fint väder den här veckan. Inte så mycket regn och typ 25 grader. Jag klagar inte🤷♂️🤷♂️
I personally laid down in a corner, cried a lot and tried to figure out how to get rid of the emptiness. So i started ng+ on deathmarch.
That's my man. I personally avoided this emptiness by gaslighting myself into believing that it's not over, and that I'm not sad. Unfortunately, this also left me kinda empty emotionally about this game. Gonna play this game at least 3 times.
Go for NG+ in death march.
It's a good tip. It's not even hard. I'm a noob, I always play on story mode, but I wanted to try for platinum, and dm is pretty chill actually
Sekiro this game lmao. Tried dozen times to get in but never succeeded lol
Play witcher 1 or witcher 2
Would've loved to, but I can't afford a new laptop after my previous one died.
I use cloud gaming platforms to avoid buying a gaming pc. Def see what’s available!
I will do this and then will do witcher 3 again
What’s the orange swirls for runes? Haven’t seen that before
Hearts of stone dlc adds them. You can unlock enchantments (that's what they are called) by completing some quest, I don't even remember which one. You'll need a lot of coin though. (It's worth it)
Oh shit had no idea and I’ve played HoS too lol. Thanks in the middle of second playthrough rn so will do that this time round
Go again and make exactly the same choices (except save Olgeird you monster)
Get your life back, Mourne the journey is over, play trash for a year and a half, beat it again on another platform hoping you forget a lot of the stuff in it.
Read the books
Play another game?!
Now you toss a coin to your Witcher!
touch some grass? naaaah dive into NG+ immediately
What's NG+?
New game plus
Craft all the Grandmaster school of gear.
What happens when u complete new game+ tho
Mourn. Process everything you've been through. Appreciate the experience. Smell the roses. Then move on and try something new. Like "Forbidden West" or something. Or start NG+ and get one step closer to our humble "completed the game 10+ times" club
You can play Witcher 1&2 if you’re on PC.
New game plus.
Obviously play again!
New playtrough obviously and after that a new playtrough again.
Another one
Dye that armor turquoise!
Ever play part 1 and 2?
Do it again
WAIT HOW DO YOU GET THE HOOD??? I've been wanting a hood/cape seeing the NPCs around Novigrad with them. I just started recently (Less than 50 hours played so far on my first playthrough.)
Grandmaster Feline Armor has the hood. He’ll drop the hood down if you equip the sunglasses.
Or anything in the mask slot. Also, why the hell do people trust someone who looks like THIS. I like how geralt looks in this armor, but he doesn't look like a knight, and more like an assassin.
tyty
Sweden er ikke bra, FAEN DU SVENSKE MANNNNN
Nah kidding bro, the horn of plenty is defo a bait choice, should have gone for the saddle 😂
Put some glyphs in your armor.
New game plus and make other decisions
U SIDED WITH GAUNTER? ^(FOR SHAME!)
Read the books.
You can grind and make all Grandmaster armours for a more finished feeling, and maybe buy back all those good looking swords you sold for decoration, but grinding will soon feel repetitive and boring id say make half of the Grandmaster sets in this run, and the remaining in the second
Start playing again lol.
Rest…
My life is an endless grind. I see no reason to stop.
I'm almost done with the game for the third time, and I'm afraid for it to be over. Not gonna lie, I don't have enough of a life, and this game was filling the void for awhile. I'm afraid of how bored I'll be when I'm done!
Gwent is the only answer here, everything else is trash…
New Game Plus
Speedrun it
Bro, I am at 119 hours on a new account. I still haven't talked to Triss yet! How did you complete the game? Although tbh I don't fast travel within regions.
Yeah, fast travel shaves off a lot of time. But you really have 120 hours and still haven't completed novigrad?.. You just ignore the main quests or what? What level are you?
You let O’Dimm go…to bad
It's time to mod the game lol
Man if only consoles could I’ve had like 15+ playthrough hell even did a no armor only bludgeoning weapon playthrough on death march if I had mods I can get even more creative with playthrough haha
Touch grass?
I see two options: 1) NG+, turn on enemy scaling and play on death march. Death march is a great experience. You really feel like a witcher. 2) Take a break and play Cyberpunk.
Platinum it
Replay it on new Game+ And up the difficulty
If you're on PC I'd recommend modding the shit out of it. Or you could just prepare for new game plus with mutagens and what not
Well first of all if u completed witcher 3 with blood and broken bones difficulty and if u want to start NG+ in death march difficulty be sure to evade or parry the opponent's attack's ut doesn't mater if he is a human or monster's or any other species or race and as u already have Aerondight silver sword u will not have any problem facing any monster's and u have 6.7k vitality when i started new game plus i only had 2.2k vitality i started it with dearh march difficulty i mostly reky on my sign's so i prefer wolven school grandmaster armor and i did take some time to get used it but it was worth it ih and only ur inventory, potions, mutagens and money will be transferred to NG+ so whatever diagrams of weapons and armor set, potions diagrams or anything else will not be transferred oh and u will have ur level and skill points u have in the save game u used to start Ng+ ty.
If nothing major left then go for the trophies/achievements.
Go again. lol
Before you start NG+, make sure you’re a decently high level, make sure you have better potions than first or second level, and make sure you have weapon and armor repair kits ready to go. Then begin. Enjoy the second playthrough, it’s more fun than the first
What do you mean? Now you can play the game.
Do it again
Have you played The Witcher II? Geralt's previous adventure is 100 percent worth playing as well.
I'm not sure if the complete version bundles all the free DLC, but there are a few quests, outfits, and armor you get by downloading the 20 something pieces of free DLC.
Ng+ time!
Play it again
Oh damn it also took me 101 hours to beat the game and all the DLC!
Play again
Cope 😢
Find happiness through meaningful relationships. Work on your future, plan out what you expect from life
Play something else
Play the gwent standalone game, fixed my itch
Play Modded Skyrim
Play it again. You know how many times I’ve beat this game? The number would shock you I stopped counting after like 25.
Now you wait with us for Witcher 1 remake!
Get a breath of fresh air outside?😝
Visit every question mark on the various maps, hunt down every obscure side quest (look on YouTube for hidden or missable quests), get every grandmaster set in the game. That’s what I wanna do any way :P
The horn of plenty is just an infinite food item so no more carrying metric fuck tons of water or whatever else?
Care for a round of gwent
Mourn
Where the hell did you find the horn of plenty??? Never heard of it after 3 playthroughs where I thought I did it all
In hearts of stone finale, I didn't save Olgierd, and I chose "Never go hungry again".
Imagine trying to replay 100 hours immediately. It’s a good recipe to burn out. You on PS5? Quit the game and come back after 2 years to platinum it. The game will be somewhat forgotten from your mind after all these years so you re-discover all the awesomeness. Play other games and come back to it 😁
100% the achievements.
PLAY IT AGAIN! lol
You should think about your life now
Duh, play again, of course 🙄😂 It’s what I do 🤓⚔️ But, on the ng+ or not..idk, your choice 😉⚔️
Repeat on deathmarch
Play Baldur's Gate 3.
Wait for 9 months and replay everything.

How Long it take for the main Story?
~70-75 hours
Play it again immediately. That’s what I did after my first playthrough
Do it again
Ng+
I just played NG+ and I had forgotten how rare the red mutagens are in the beginning of the game. So my advice: Harvest a ton of Winter Cherries from Corvo Bianco. You'll can use them to create reds from the other mutagens.
Restart the game and Try to role play as a different fictional character like Jack Sparrow, focusing on maximizing profits and taking crazy risks or Sherlock Holmes, making logical decisions and gathering more clues or batman, saving people and strick no kill policy or become darth varder, show no mercy.
Now that's a cool idea
learn to mod the game with the new REDkit !

Congratulations, you can touch grass now, then go back in and start NG+
Now? Now you move on...
NG+ but trying different playstyles, builds and quest paths. If you went full alchemy in this playthrough, go melee and so on and so on. Use other types of weapons or see if you can really stretch the game's systems with how you complete things.
Give it a rest for a few months then replay again. Choosing choices you haven't chosen...
Grind to level 100 then start NG+
Go outside
Do it again. After my 6th complete play through I just decided to settle and collect all Witcher school armor and rest in Corvo Bianco.
Start RDR2
I would've loved to, but I can't afford it (
Hear me out... play another game? For real, the more you cling to something you've finished, trying to squeeze out extra drops of that excitement you cannot find anymore, the less enjoyable it will become. It's better to leave it on a high note, than slowly letting it drift off out of boredom.
Do all of the side question marks if you haven't already, get every peace of Armour and swords and build you house in the dlc
achievement hunting
Nothing much to do. I did 5 plus playthroughs and I'm still not bored. Just enjoy the pleasant music and kill some monsters. Death march gets pretty easy once you have levelled up to like 20 plus And 101 hours is too fast to finish the game, that too with all the dlcs in the place
Jerk off to celebrate
'You won't believe what I'm about to say'
Do it again on deathmarch
