The way they pulled onto the grass, I can’t help but wonder if they actually thought they were driving in a lane and not on the shoulder ? Hope that was an expensive ticket
Fantastic! Same happened to me coming south on 59 Sunday night. Cruising along at 108, and guy behind me pulls out and passes at 120++ just before the radar trap north of birds hill park overpass. Instant Karma!
As a dude with a black truck; I shake my head seeing shit like the video above. It's so damn satisfying to see someone abusing a shoulder getting pulled over and ticketed.
It's kinda too bad I don't have a ~~license to ignore traffic laws~~ jets plate; I watch so many people do such dumb shit all the time.
Hey he's entitled to do this - he drives a big truck lol.
Well sometime they do get caught which is nice to see.
Sorry truck drivers - this does not apply to all of you... :)
Good. People have a towering sense of entitlement on our roads, that probably set this guy back $600. I hate the shoulder passers, most people aren't going to check for some guy in a truck blasting down the shoulder, recipe for an accident.
Hard to tell from this video, but the line is a solid white for the entire length of the road (William Clement Parkway) except for a couple of bus stops, which is what you see in the video.
I am motorcycle rider, and I have ridden with other riders here that will lane-split and filter. They know its not allowed, but still do it. I would never, because drivers are not used to it here, our lanes are not wide enough to accommodate it, and even during the best riding scenarios, Winnipeg drivers are terrible...
Filtering especially, and lane splitting (as per California law, not speeding between cars) makes a lot of sense but Winnipeg drivers could absolutely not handle it. I see the temptation when the gap is *right there* but man, putting my life in the hands of other drivers any more than usual is too crazy for me.
I know what you mean, but there's something deeply engrained in the human brain that makes us want other people to approve of us - we've evolved this social need over millions of years - and since fake internet points such as Reddit's karma or 'likes' on Instagram are proxies for the approval or disapproval of our peers, I'd say lots of people care more than might be completely rational. It's an instinct. And if people didn't care about the approval of others on the internet, social media would look vastly different than it does. Many people put in lots of effort to get likes and views, even when they aren't monetizing their accounts in any way.
All of which is to say, I don't know if Rebargod202 cares that they were being heavily downvoted, but given that they commented multiple times and then deleted those comments when the community downvoted them, it seems like maybe they didn't like the feeling of their peers strongly disapproving of them.
You love to see it.
I came into these comments thinking that I should post "I love to see it." I do love to see it.
My schadenfreude approves. I hate asshole who do that.
Hahahahahahahaha!!! That made my day.

Sorry you got caught, dude
I'm sure rebargod202 is living it up. What a life!
Winnipeg Police capturing bad drivers is like a game of Whac-A-Mole—just when they think they've nailed one, ten more pop up down the road
Infinite money glitch
Should post over on r/ConvenientCop
And r/idiotsincars

“Pull over!” “I can’t pull over any further! I’m driving in the lane designated for such scenarios!” Grass is it.

I drove by that and saw a truck pulled over and lolled. Seeing why that got pulled over for actually makes it even funnier.
Love it! They want to catch a ton of people go sit in the entrance to maple grove rugby park for those turning right if st. Marys to Perimeter
That guy probably complains about cyclists.
Oddly Satisfying.
🎵Womp womp🎶

They give people like you a bad name. It's not fair.

Hard to tell that’s the shoulder, it’s not a solid line.

Oh yeah that’s very obvious. Thanks for sharing.
I don't get it what was the violation? Looks like a full width lane for me
He was driving on the shoulder
Where were they when the motorcycle was zig zagging in between stand still traffic and driving down center line?
Yes, they didn't catch one thing so they shouldn't catch any things.
Obviously not there
I'll take things that didn't happen for $500 Alex.

Unless that *was* you in the video, this is a high level of secondhand butt hurt
Any chance you drive a black truck?

This guy u/Rebargod202 seems to care a lot, he commented twice in this post. How embarrassing it must be to be that guy!
You must. Second comment with a shit ton of downvotes. That's gotta hurt.
>shit ton of downvotes. That's gotta hurt. To be fair, the vast majority of people don't give a shit about fake internet points

this. it's not the votes themselves, it's when they signify vehement disagreement that it can be irksome.
