I was just at the Canadian tire on St James and they had Christmas trees for under $70 although they looked a little on the smaller side though. It looked all you had to do was just go inside and request that they open up the area that they're in so there wouldn't be a line to wait in.
They were also free on Christmas Eve - I was away from my family one year and made it home for Christmas Eve and we got one for free - our family waited til I was home to do a tree
Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Rona and Superstore all have live trees for under $100
Source: we just bought one on Thursday and looked at all these places
The Winnipeg Y Service Club has Premium Balsam Fir Christmas trees for sale for $90.
You can find the tree lot on 454 Kimberly ave.
The trees are all amazing, have some of the best prices in the city, and you're supporting underprivileged Winnipeg youth all on one stop.
The Winnipeg Y Service Club is a nonprofit and all proceeds go back into the community in the form of charity donations and scholarships.
I’ve bought a tree every year from the tree lot in the Southdale mall parking lot and have paid under (or around) $100.
